I live in an insanely hot and humid place so rain jackets often become like wearing a sauna. This jacket is much more comfortable than that! It's also stretch enough to allow full range of motion. I really love this jacket!

Love this jacket. I bought it in an XL so I could wear a fleece jacket under it in the winter, and still have flexibility. That wasn't a bad idea, except that I actually wear it more often with just a t-shirt under it, so I probably could have gone with the large and still gotten the fleece under it, but oh well. I got it to wear for a trip to Ireland and the UK and it was the perfect weight--I didn't get much cold on that trip, but a lot of rain. Here's why I love it: I wore this jacket with a long sleeve tee underneath for a 4+ hour walking tour of Belfast. The rain never let up. And I did not get wet. When I took my jacket off later in a pub, a rather impressive pool of water gathered under the chair I'd put my jacket on, but I was dry, except for a little at the cuffs, but I blame that on the fact I was taking a lot of photos and pushing my sleeves up and down in the process (it does fit a bit too big on me, as noted). I'm impressed! And the jacket is breathable, so it wasn't uncomfortable even in warmer rain. Doesn't look bad either in the black. This one's a winner for me! I wish I'd sized down, but that was my fault! (BTW, I wear a large or xl in most North Face tops. I'm about a 14 in women's tops. But even with another layer, I really could have gone with a large in this rather than an xl, and if I didn't care about other layers under it, I also fit into the medium. I tried them all in the store before purchasing).

Trued this out at,the store in misty rose color and it's such a gorgeous color and the slim fit is amazing. Very flattering fit but not to the point of fitted you can't layer anuthing inside. Usually XS for northface jacket and XS fits perfectly. The venture 2 jacket's sleeves are too long for me, but this one for perfect and I'm 5'3" 105#. The jacket feels so soft and lightweight.

Great lightweight zip up for any activity! perfect size to easily throw on over any outfit and roll up to fit into any carry on or purse for easy travel. I did not purchase it for the waterproof qualities so I can not accurately comment on how waterproof it really is however I think for a light rain it would be successful in keeping you mainly dry. I love this jacket for my uses and would highly recommend as a lightweight, easy to wear, cute everyday jacket!

I really like this jacket for it's light weight, very soft material that is also very waterproof! Perfect for warm weather when you need protection from the rain. I love the color (blue)! I did order a size Large (I'm a Medium) because of the fitted style. I'm glad I did. Overall great jacket!

Although I have not worn this coat yet, it is already my favorite! I sized up because the description said it was fitted and I'm glad I did! I am going to wear this coat a lot during the spring and fall! It's the perfect transition coat for this Midwest girl!

This jacket fits absolutely perfect and is a very flattering cut. It's perfect for the time of year when it can be a bit rainy out but also warm - this jacket is my new go to fall & spring jacket!

This is a great coat for spring/fall. Material is lightweight and the fact that it stretches is a plus. Not your average raincoat.

Nice lightweight waterproof jacket for spring. This was exactly what I was looking for. I haven't worn it in heavy rain yet so I can't comment on how waterproof it is but I am pleased with its fit, appearance and comfort.

This jacket does not feel like a raincoat. The material is soft and durable. The vents in the armpits are great for warmer weather or during exercise. The jacket hood has a small brim which is also useful during rain showers. I love this coat!

I wore this jacket for the Boston Marathon and am confident it was key to finishing strong. I am a slow runner, and when the weather moved from rain-- hot sun -- rain -- intense wind-- sun throughout my run, many runners needed assistance, but I was fortunate not to be one of them. This jacket is SO soft compared to other expensive outdoor brands-- you won't feel like you are wearing crunchy plastic! This is much more like a microfiber feel. The stretch is key to keeping it tied around your waist (if you need to!) and the inner lining would never chafe. I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase. It is the best rain gear ever.

I love this jacket! I wouldn't recommend this for temperatures under 40 degrees, I wore it yesterday and it was in the 50's and windy. I felt comfortable and warm. I plan on wearing this mostly when I'm golfing and it's breezy. I love how it stretches when I tee off.

I am 5'10" and 155 lbs. I chose large because it's a slim fit and I have long arms. Great booty coverage where it's not too long or too short. Love the soft thin but durable fabric. I can wear it with my North Face vest on top for additional warm. I chose black for versatility. Great overall rain jacket I highly recommend.

This is one of THE most comfortable rain jackets I have ever worn. It is light in weight but not in features. The pit zips work very well if the temperature starts to climb or the humidity is high, and makes it versatile enough to just wear as a windbreaker. The Velcro closures at the cuff keep long-sleeve layers worn underneath dry while still easy to slip on and off. I haven't worn it in an absolutely driving rainstorm yet, but in a normal thundershower it performs flawlessly. The stretch factor makes it a true winner.

This feels like your not even wearing a jacket, except you totally are with the added benefit of providing some warmth and keeping you dryer than dry. I was out in the rain today with this jacket on and it was like I was a walking Rain-X windshield. Any droplet that hit me was banished immediately. The fact that a think jacket can provide this much warmth and windproofing so great. But the fact that this super stretchy fabric repels the water so well is crazy amazing. I'm not a small person. I struggle with rainproof gear fitting my upper arms properly while also fitting my torso correctly. This is the first time I've ever bought an XL in a rainproof jacket (normally, I'd have to by a 2X to fit my upper arms, but then I'd be swimming in the jacket around my torso). I'm beyond impressed. I purchased the Juicy Red color and it is gorgeous.

I wore this on a backpacking trip through Europe and was so happy I brought it. I usually wear a small in Jackets, but I got a medium in this one and it was perfect because I could wear my base layers underneath without it looking too tight. I love the big pockets and the feminine fit. This is not completely waterproof but it did the job for changeable weather in Scotland and Switzerland. The best part is that it is like a hardshell jacket but with the benefit of being flexible. Also, it isn't loud material like so many other rain jackets I have owned. Very happy with this purchase and if you're in the market for an affordable rain jacket, I 10/10 recommend!
