Purchased duffel medium. If you look at this like a backpack, this is a good size pack for somebody 6'2" without getting too big. Plan to place ski boots at bottom and pack my children's ski apparel on top.

Durable, simple great design!

I bought this duffel bag in order to replace my Nike duffel bag for everyday gym use. I play and train basketball so I need to carry at least two basketball and training equipment in my gym bag. My 2 yr old Nike bag would barely fit a pair of shoes and two basketball, not to mention the zipper for the shoe compartment became completely un-fixable after two repairs. This North Face bag felt slightly bigger than I thought, but the capacity is more than enough, and it was surprisingly comfortable and light to carry due to the back-pack configuration. I carried it in Boston snowstorm several times through the winter, definitely tested its water-prove ability, unbeatable. Very awesome experience!

Haven't used the bag yet but it is very spacious and I can't wait to use it for a trip coming up. The only tough choice was deciding which color to go with! (Very unique choices of color.) On a recent trip, I saw someone with it (an older version but still looked brand new) and I had to stop and ask him because I knew I needed it for myself. I plan on getting another one, just haven't decided which size to go with. (When I bought this was one, it was between the medium and the large but I went with the medium because right now I figured I didn't need such a large bag but the medium is still pretty spacious and I am very happy with it.)

I have 1 TNF XXL bag which is massive and I have not travelled with it since I got the last two Medium or large size bags I can't remember and I have a couple large but TNF gave me a medium or large as a gift which was great and the new.m bags are even better because they break down into a supplied hanging bag that is very flat which if you have a couple of these you know that they can take up a closet even when you try to pack them down so the new feature is worth replacing all of my bags!

This product, out of the box, is amazing. The tech being used does not feel cheap at all. I am excited to put it to the test going on quick weekend trips or week long trips. It's the perfect size for air travel, too. :) My roommate has already started looking into buying the camouflage.

I own this bag in XS, S & now M. The "updated design" comes with several changes. The zippers now have a TSA lock loop, the side handles of the previous models have been replaced with a conventional duffle style center handle and the mesh pocket that was in the left zipper pocket has been moved to the interior right panel. I love being able to carry it like a regular duffel as well as a backpack but I do wish the side handles were still there. I also would have liked to see the backpack straps finally get a quick release buckle. That said, every basecamp duffel is incredibly tough and worth the price for anyone doing more than pushing luggage between airports & hotels. Definitely a product you buy for life.

Told myself that I would invest in a durable gym bag bc I got tired of wearing out $30 duffel bag. I highly recommend purchasing this if you're a frequent traveler and gym go-er like myself. I got this in a size medium and it is the perfect size, very spacious. The quality is impeccable.

I got this bag for my boyfriend who is in the Air Force, he uses it to travel back and forth during his leave etc. and he loves it. Perfect size and durability for military to civilian travel, according to him.

Bought as a gift , a couple of weeks ago we were in New York City we went into a Nike store there (the employees were fantastic) well my son bought some bag in a different color for his son, later on he mentioned he should of bought one for himself well could not wait to get home and order one for him foe Christmas he will be so surprised as we are a Nike family love these products

Use it out on the ranch where it's dusty, easy to clean.

I love packing this duffel - it has more space than you'd imagine, looks great without being stuffy. It's stylish, without being show-off trendy. The high quality materials protect my stuff - it has survived a wet airport tarmac and kept my clothes dry and clean!

Great for weekend trips!

Bought this for my brother and sister-in-law because we love our so much. We go on sailing trips a few times a year and these are the perfect bags. I can get everything we need in them, they can sit out on the tarmac in a tropical rainstorm and our stuff stays dry and they collapse once unpacked so they don't take up any hold space. the convertible backpack straps make them easy to schlep.

Stop looking around. Buy the duffel. Enjoy.
