I bought this for my son who was going into the Army. He loved the way he could get so much into the light weight bag~

I use this to transport my field gear for outdoor work. It's almost custom made for it. Strong, high capacity bag.

From the Ski-Boots to the Helmet. Everything fit nicely on the medium (M) size bag. I use the stuff bag as a parking-cube for my layers and socks, with some extra space for water and snacks. Perfect size to fit everything you need to bring to the resort and pack it back for storage.

This thing is bomb-proof. From packing for car trips to being tossed around the outdoors while camping, this thing still looks brand new once you brush the dust off. If you're looking for an organized duffel with various zippers and compartments, this ain't it. It's got one side pocket on the side and that's it. But when you're hauling camping gear or a week's worth of clothing you really don't want the compartments anyways. One thing that's been a point of criticism with these bags is no shoulder strap. I think I personally could have gone for shoulder straps over backpack straps, but I'm carrying it by the handles a majority of the time so it does not matter. Maybe I'll learn to love the backpack straps more. Seriously, just buy it!

Firstly, I do really appreciate the excellent service provided by your customer service team! Secondly, I am very happy and satisfied by the quality and the perfect size of my new base camp duffel. It's my third bag from THENORTHFACE and I will be always your customer. Keep up the good work !

I'm obsessed with this bag! I bought it almost 4 years ago and tend to be aggressive with my stuff, and it's held up like a dream! Things I love about it: 1) No one makes you check bags you can wear on your back. I don't know what it is, but I can fit so much into this bag and travel with it the way I want to (checked or as carry on). 2) With covid and cleaning concerns, this fabric is perfect to wipe down and sanitize without incurring damage. 3) It's comfortable and adjustable.

I got the pink color. It is a different shade of pink than what is pictured, not as fluorescent which I am so happy about. Pictures don't do justice. You really need to do your research and consider the size of this bag because although medium does not seem big, this bag is HUGE! But it's a good thing! I went away for a month and I fit so much in this bag because it has outside pockets and netting to keep things organized (of course it depends on how much you pack but I don't see why someone else couldn't fit weeks worth of stuff in here). Since the bag is durable, it is kind of heavy so keep that it mind. The dimensions are small enough to be checked in so I had no airline problems. I am a hand carry kind of person so I haven't tried it out with the backpack straps but I did test them and they did not loosen up or fall off. It comes with a storage bag, good luck putting it back in once you unfold the duffel lol.

I was looking and trying ski bags to fill all my gear. From boots, helmet, layers, ski apparel... Everything fits nicely. Boots on the bottom side next to each other as a L7, helmet on the other side next/above boots, the carry bag for the duffle holds all my layers forms socks to binie. I fold my ski pants and jacket/shell... and I'm ready for the next adventure.

Packed the duffle in the back of my truck, during the drive it rained. When I pulled my gear out of the duffle nothing had gotten wet. Very impressive

These are great bags. I just bought a medium because I wanted the Purple one (great shade). I have had a L and XL for several years and used them on lots of trips. Both airline and car. These bags are TOUGH! My biggest disappointment with my old bags are they just one big compartment + mesh on lid. The new Medium also has a separate compartment on one end cap and an added mesh on the inside of the other cap. Great update! ***Note: NF, please make the bigger sizes in Purple.

I often go on backpacking trips and in general just travel. This is the only bag I carry and need. It fits everything I need. It's really cool that it serves as a duffel bag and a backpack. I often need to carry both a regular backpack and a duffel with me. This bag however combines both for me and fits just the same amount of space. Love the design too. Got the yellow one.

I got this bag because I needed something sturdy for all the weekend trips I take and overall, it's great. There is plenty of space for clothes, shoes, and other travel essentials. I actually really like how there's straps at the top to put on your back like a backpack in case your arm gets tired.

This is my favorite purchase I have gotten in a long time. It is so heavy duty. The stitching for the straps and seams are so well constructed. The duffle is a great weekend warrior. I'm not afraid to get it dirty or be rough with the bag. I don't have to worry about it getting ripped or damaged. This is definitely a bag you will have for LIFE! The North Face never disappoints. I am so pleased with this duffel bag.

I lead two lives, one as a feral outdoors type and the other as a nurse practitioner flying around to different medical conferences. I don't do the "no end-date" backpacking trips the way I did when I was younger but I still have some of that in me while also juggling my career. This bag really does fit smack in the middle of those lives. It's so neutral that when I pull it off of the baggage claim belt I can look professional and clean and practical. Then the next weekend I can take it along while I sleep out of my car going on my various trail running adventures. All this to say that the initial appeal was the design, but I grow more impressed trip by trip from it's durability, size, and easy to take a long fit. I would go with this bag if you're looking to have it on you all day long, it can get painful at the sacrum- but it's absolutely perfect when you're sprinting from terminal to terminal or setting up camp and don't want to have to worry about your bag getting wet or ripped. I also like the compartments that separate your wet from dry. Solid.

This is a lightweight bag, but stores so much. Fits in the overhead compartment on the plane. Bright color makes it easy to find. Highly recommend!

Would have to say this is a perfect size for a backpack. Just big enough to carry gear/ clothes, but not too big that too bulky. Plan go put my size 11.3" shot boots in bottom and layer kids gear (no kid boots) over. NOW, that this bag is essentially a backpack I can make from parking lot to ski locker. Got the competitors duffel bag and would go right for North Face - hands down quality and durability + backpack straps and normal handles make this bag premier and a must recommend.
