As advertised. XL is big - but not overwhelmingly so. Best use case is 7 day+ trips. Plenty of room. Rugged. And stylish to boot.

About a week after I got this bag I went on a weekend trip with friends. One of them flooded the apartment when they left the shower on. Everyone had wet clothes for the rest of the weekend except for me. Already worth every penny!!

I strap this duffel to my tail rack for motorcycle camping trips and it works great. It has built-in straps to tighten it if not full and plenty of loops to secure it down.

Great weekender bag! I use this bag every weekend for the shore. It is lightweight, easy to carry, and stylish. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to all.

This is the size of a carry on but it feels like it can carry way more. Looks good and feels good overall, very overbuilt and practical. My only complaint is the zippers are hard to open when the bag is at capacity, but it just takes a few pulls.

This is a great bag to just grab and go. You can wear it like a backpack, use it like a duffel bag, even use it as a cooler... I love the basecamp duffel bags! I have one in each color, but this retro drop (which is a re releasee) I could not wait to get my hands on. I'm going to get one in every size to be prepared for whatever comes my way. Great duffel bag! I'm so glad I made this purchase. This thing looks and feels like it could withstand a bomb. Okay, maybe not a bomb, but heavy use and some low-grade verbal abuse. Not that I condone the latter, but honestly the bag seems up to it physically. Emotionally we're all hurt at least a little by verbal taunts, amirite?! I know for me, junior high was rough. So much teasing and name calling... Dang it Mike S., you fooled me one too many times with that while "You've got something on your shirt" -slash- nose flick prank! Sure, the jibes I'd get from classmates were tough on me... but I'd wager this TNF duffel could handle it better than I did back then.

I've taken this bag on trips to the city fits all my clothes. Taken it on a small weekend getaway to other cities outa state. It great it's compact it fits all my needs. Able to take it on flights and be small enough for just a carry on. Hasn't torn yet and I've taken it to a couple trips already so great material. All around would recommend

I admired this bag in the airport on a recent weekend getaway. I immediately went to buy the bag and treated myself for my Birthday. I love it it is so useful and stylish I am going to use it on a vacation after working through the pandemic. I can't wait to go. The straps are awfully long and it is hard to get them under control but I will figure it out! It brings a storage bag so cool, Northface thought of everything.

I love the XL Duffel bag! It has a large capacity and is super light weight, that way you can actually pack a lot. The large straps that come with it are detachable but really make it easy to carry the bag even weighing a whole lot. I got it in yellow and am super happy because I can always spot my bag first. The material is so sturdy, water repellant and super easy to clean with a wet wipe. I would definitely recommend and buy/gift this bag again!

This bag is really great quality. Great for all weather. I would say it is the size on your bag like a standard size school backpack. It is great for a carryon and great for sporting events too. Wide opening and front zip compartment for paperwork or small items to get to fast. There is an inside pocket zipped mesh in the top flap that is great for wallet or anything you need to keep secure. The design is awesome, no need to worry about germs or dirty getting on you if you convert to backpack or duffle. Also comes with a storage bag that folds it up small and flat.
