I fly every other week as well as hit the mountains on weekend and this bag serves me well No matter the occasion. I highly recommend it. It's the perfect carry on luggage and the perfect mountain bag to hold additional north face jackets and gear. Great stuff!!

The product is great. It is super high-quality and there is a lot of space for being a small bag yet it also doesn't look huge nor bulky on your back when you use the backpack straps. The materials they use to make it give you the confidence that it's going to last.

I have had the large duffle for years and wanted a smaller size as a carry on or to use on shorter trips. Burly design and water resistant makes it durable and functional while traveling.

We were recommended this bag by a family memeber who had had theirs for years and years. We are really glad we bought it. I love that I can carry it on my back and leave my hands free while traveling, you always need to grab your phone or your plane ticket or ID and this just made it more convenient. I love that it has a life time warranty where else could you insure you will have a life long traveling bag.

Whatever size you decide to purchase you will not be disappointed for the money the style colors and overall durability in my opinion the north face duffel is the most reliable and greatest Duffel on the planet!

I own a Small /Med /XL in this type of North Face Bag. This one was a birthday present for my 9 year old son. He asked if he could have one for his own : 0 ) Very tough very good size for carry on for over head bins in all the planes I have been on. The bag is basic but does a great job!!!

I own several North Face duffels bags. I use either an XS or SM as my carry-on bag. Although technically a little larger than airlines typically allow, I prefer the small. It's perfect for the amount of stuff I bring on a 2-3 trip. The bag is a little heavy, but that's what makes it so durable. It's got handles on every side, plus shoulder straps, so carrying it is a breeze. I really like the built in compression straps that get it closer to airline carry on size of the contents are soft such as clothes. I also use these bags for canoe tripping. They ARE NOT waterproof, but very splash resistant. They wont keep stuff dry in a tip over, bit do great in rain or light splashing.

Perfect size to fully pack and still be able to fit in an overhead bin on the airplanes. I used it moving up to college and it is very sturdy and durable. It's a little awkward to carry as it doesnt have a typical duffel bag handle and only has those outside handles and the backpack strap. still a great bag

I love how the colors pop, making it easy to identify. It is perfect for a carryone with no worries of it not meeting the overhead requirements. I'm able to pack 4-5 days of outfits without a problem.

Use for 2-3 day trips.. bought because of the color, and thought I'd try something new.. I really love this bag.

This is the perfect weekend bag! I fit three pairs of shoes (two running shoes) and sandals, plus multiple changes of clothes and layers in this bag. Received so many compliments on the map print!

Back Pack straps are a great addition for a more convenient carry. Perfect size for gym use and carry-on.

Bought it to move to England for a year. Held up well for being tossed around at the airport and is waterproof which helped when it started raining. Backpack straps are comfortable and make carrying this bag a breeze, even loaded with 50 pounds of gear!

I'm so excited to gift this duffel to my husband for an anniversary present. It's the perfect size for carryon luggage. We don't care to deal with check in any longer. This is so well made that I'm sure it will last along time.

I ordered the small Base Camp Duffel in the new camo version. Initially I wasn't sure wether to get the small or the medium size but after several reviews on the internet I opted for the small one since I didn't want to risk having it checked-in while flying. The bag is the perfect size for a weekend trip. It is very well built and very good looking. I will be using it for all of my camping and weekend trips from now on.

I actually travel extensively for a living and have the North Face structured duffel with wheels which I use all the time and love it. My husband and I bought 2 base camp duffels for our upcoming Patagonia Trek and needed softer bags without wheels. He bought this gorgeous green in XL and I got the Large in camouflage. We love them because they are both stylish and functional. They don't look big, but pack in a lot of items. Because you can fit in so much, be careful the bag doesn't get too heavy to pick up! Having the back pack style straps help to carry the bag a longer distance. I envision getting many uses out of these bags and highly recommend.
