I am very impressed with my bag! I love the color in person. You can tell from the material that it is sturdy and will hold up to the label of waterproof, which I tend to be skeptical about. It holds more than my hard shell carry-on luggage and it weighs less. I can't imagine myself using any other bag to travel from now on. Very pleased.

I love this bag, I tend to travel 6 times a year and I use this. It fits everything for my trips. I love how its a backpack as well, helps than carrying luggage on one side and getting pains.

So I have many of these, from the original design to newer end pocket design. I will tell you this they can last a lifetime. My first set was a XS, SM, M, and Large if the Purple. Bought over 15 years ago the bags still look pretty good. You can store everything in these and that's what I have done. I am amazed how big the medium is as I can still fit all my camping accessories:
2 MSR dragonfly stoves with two large MSR bottles
MSR two person cookware
4 Black Diamond Orbit lights
Thermarest Xlite sleeping mattress
MSR Hubba Hubba 2 person tent
Mountain hardware 0 degree down sleeping bag
Various tools
MSR waterworks filter
So that's just an idea of what can fit in a medium with room to spare.
I then purchased a set of the pink/black in SM and M. Those are still working today. I have found some off colors at the outlet and bought those as they might have minor cosmetic defects but for the most part function flawlessly.
Favorites:
Just one big open cavernous space.
Added side pocket
Grab straps on all sides.
Caribiner loops - these are awesome if you need to tie them down to a car rack.
These things are just durable stop contemplating the decision and buy one. You can find any use case scenarios for these. I've placed one in my travel backpack (osprey transport 40) for when I go shopping then I pull this out and I have a bag ready front the flight home that's carry on approved (XS and SM are for sure)

I commute to work on a bike with this bag on my back across the Willamette river. I pack my own lunch and snacks, work uniform, shoes, extra warm cloths, and in down pouring rain this bag keeps everything dry. After 7 years of daily use it finally started to leak water so I sent it back and the warranty department sent me a new one. This bag is a must carry for a guy like me who is out in the elements all the time but still needs to keep stuff dry.

I've had my duffel bag since the beginning of this year, 2019 and I've been traveling a lot for the whole year. I've been using this duffel bag more often especially on my short trips and it doesn't disappoint. I like the style, the simplicity and the durability. There is enough room for my stuffs and daily OOTDs. I love their idea of making the duffel bag a back pack since the back is hurting from carrying bags on one side of my shoulder. I bought another one for my cousin who loves to travel too and he loves it.

Great bag I had bought the Large size in the Black for a longer trip (I did check the bag) and loved it so so much. As someone who almost never travels with less than two bags I was shocked that all of my things fit into just the one bag. So when I needed a bag for a shorter stay and wanted something that was carry on compliant I decided to purchase the size Small. It arrived today and it looks just a reliable as the larger version. The quality of these bags are incredible and I have no doubt I'll have it for years to come. It's got ALOT of room and it's easy to add a shoulder strap from another duffel to create another carrying option. I'm super excited to use it... just a note about the color ... I purchased the Hero Purple and the color is great BUT it is just worth noting that the North Face logo on the side is not black as pictured but is instead a bright almost neon orange. Honestly, the color combination is great so I have no complaints. Really happy with BOTH of my purchases.

I use this bag to pack my lunch, tools, gym gear and spare clothes. This bag really blew me away with its amazing quality and design. To be honest north face has some elite bag enginuity. I own so many northface products such as the bigshot, borealis, recon, vault and jester and still have all of them. These back packs will last like forever. And I'm really glad I got this compact duffle bag to add to my collection. It has handles everywhere and is super tactical and practical. Love this bag so much. I think I'll buy another one during christmas for my father.

I mainly use this bag as my daily hauler on my bike to work. The shoulder straps are really great and comfortable under load. I'm able to put my clothes for the day, laptop, bike related stuff, like the lock, tools, etc and still have space to spare. I put the bag on my front rack and the material holds up great to the dirt, wet and grime no problem, keeping my stuff clean and dry. The loops and handles make is quick to lock down on the rack as well, great fit.

This is my third base camp duffel, as I needed a smaller one for overnight trips. This bag is bulletproof just like its big brothers. The material is water-resistant & very durable, and the highlighter orange color helps it stand out at the baggage claim.

Incredible bag, great storage capacity, zippers are tough and rugged, compartments inside are nice, backpack straps for carrying are adjustable and handle load well. Overall very satisfied with this bag as it's intention will be to go sailing for long trips and the bag is sure to get wet, but the waterproof material is great.
