These are cute and comfortable but the wooden base on both shoes cracked clean through at the ball of the foot after only wearing them a handful of times. Not what I expect from a Dansko, especially for the price. Also several of the little staples had to be glued back into place but some fell out and were lost. Very disappointing.

This shoe was a lot redder than I thought it would be. The pictures to me showed a dark brown color. Also, the strap in the back didn't come together tight enough. You couldn't add a hole either. They were definitely comfortable but went back due to poor fit and color.

Insole is very slippery and my foot moved around too much for these to feel stable on me. Also, the instep hurt my foot, and I don't have flat feet.

I sooo wanted to like these. They were a little heavier (granted they have wooden soles, which I probably should have considered) than I expected. Also weren't quite as comfortable as other similar dressy Dansko's I own. Keep coming up with more styles Dansko - I really like much of what you do!

Super cute Dansko, but not comfortable to walk in at all. I'm used to being able to wear Danskos all day, but not the Malin, so I returned it.

These are cute and have the standard quality of Dansko shoes. They weren't as young looking as i had anticipated. I have to agree with the other reviews that there must be a design flaw because the ankle strap doesn't get small enough! Unfortunately returned.

These unfortuanely are too big. Normally Dansko fit my narrow long feet but these were too big. The foot cup and the band were too big for my feet and ankle. They did look cute and were comfy but back they go.

Walking in these is less comfortable because the heel is flat compared to my other Danskos, which rock like the clogs. I did get used to the new stride and find them comfortable for most days. My main concern is that the pair i bought has a fairly steong smell of leather tanning or processing. This is sulfurous smell that was present the first time i wore them. This smell makes me quite self-conscious. Has anyone else noticed this smell.

Disappointed. These shoes did not have enough room in the toe area. The shoe is a cute style, but returning due to the discomfort in the toes.

I have had previous Danskos of a similar style and expected the base to have some flexibility. This base is like hard plastic so it functions more like wood. If that is what you are going for then these are good. Personally, I felt it caused me to walk a little clunky and for them to not absorb as much shock. I was looking for cute shoes that would help with a back injury. These are cute but not as supportive as I had hoped.

Unfortunately Zappos' pictures make these look much more orange than they are. I did look at Dansko's pics, as well as some other websites, before purchasing, but usually Zappos has a very accurate color representation. In this case that was not true; although these look like a bit of a washed-out tomato (those of you who know Fluevog will recognize this color), it is more of a brick red type of color, very saturated, but also much redder than I was hoping for. The washed-out orange tomato would have been perfect for me. Returning them tomorrow. Thanks for the otherwise stellar service, Zappos!

The sole of the shoe split right behind the heel. There should have been a support plate in the sole so that would not have happened. Shoes are useless now.

The show was great - but they broke after a few months.

Man, I really wanted to like this shoe. But the second I put it on there was slight rubbing on my foot from the edges of the toebox and I knew that a long day of work in these would just rub my feet raw, so, unfortunately, back they go.

Great sole. Great color. Just too ugly with the cloggy (which I usually like) dwarf toe. Please, Dansko, make this shoe as an open-toed sandal!

These shoes were stylish and incredibly comfortable. I was disappointed when I started noticing the staples coming out in multiple locations on both shoes. I was outraged when after only wearing these a handful of times, the bottom completely broke apart. This is not what I expect from Dansko and especially when I paid a lot for these. Makes me question buying Dansko brand again.

I purchased these about one year ago, and have a full crack through the sole near the heel on one shoe, and a heel that is pulling away from the sole on the other. Incredibly disappointed with how long they have held up, for not even 2 seasons of regular wear.

Wanted to love these shoes - but found them to be too wide and and large, I didn't even bother trying a smaller size because they just weren't that comfortable.
