PROs-I am on my second pair of Onmium II which on the surface appear to be excellent shoes for fishing on a boat. They maintain great traction on the boat deck surface and are comfortable. If need to get in the water they are comfortable walking on the sand bottom.
CONS-Their is something in the material used in the shoe that when combined with sweat on your feet cause the shoes to absolutely wreak of foul odor. It is so foul my wife will not allow me in the house until after I wash my feet. I became acutely aware of how bad the smell is when on the boat another fisherman in my vicinity asked what was that rotten smell. Guess what-my shoes. Called the company and was told she had heard nothing of this issue but googled on line and multiple issues seen relative to the foul smell when feet get sweaty. The representative said she would relate to her higher ups and I asked that they give me a call.....I was told this was not possible. This gives me no avenues to continue to buy a shoe that is very functional for my addiction (fishing), but to search out another company and shoe. What a shamel

I ordered online advertised Teva Omnium men's size 13. I got children's size 13 Uggs. Huh? Not even the same brand. To return them took about 90 minutes of phone time, since the customer rep couldn't seem to get her supervisor on the line. After this 90 minutes I learned they were out of the Omniums for several months to come. So I have no way to know whether I'd like them - but I'm pretty sure children's size 13 would be way too small for my feet. Second worst on-line purchase experience I've ever had. Deckers needs to get its act together.

changes to toe box, closing in toe box, and skimping on heel closure.pad truly eliminated this from my selections. I've had two prior pair and wore nearly everyday for all activities. I am returning the new ones--if you return to original design, I'll be back.
hiking, kayaking, everyday wear

I find it not as comfortable as other Teva products I have purchased. After a few hours of wear the ball of my foot starts to hurt and I cannot walk on it. I probably will not wear these sandals. My Omnium 2 Leather are a much better product that I can wear all day long without discomfort.

After waiting 4 weeks for this item to arrive the box looked like it was run over by a truck. But the sandals were okay to try on. Why would any one design a shoe with the buckle on the outside of the foot. If I can't easily buckle the shoe then they go back.

Not great. A couple months in and still getting blisters. Its 2019, expensive sandals should not be made with cheap and rough materials. I will never buy Teva again. Avoid!

I had a pair almost identical, they are 8yrs old (I think), and the cloth is starting to wear out. The original pair, the cloth came up higher than the ankle strap by 1/2". This new pair the cloth is flush with the ankle strap, causing it to blister the back of my ankle within 2hrs of wearing them. Why dis you have to scrimp on 1/2" of cushioned, protective cloth at the back of the ankle?

I loved the original Teva omnium leather . The omnium 2 sole material changed away from Spider rubber. The Material in the upper shoe around shoe tung changed to sand paper, they added an elastic closure sides for a snug fit which is abrasive. I kept the shoes thinking I would adjust to this inferior sandal. Overall I would not by another pair, Looking for a replacement sandal to the Teva omnium. Maybe Merrill?

Could not find the Omnium 1, so I bought the 2. It's no good for me. I've worn 4 pairs over the past 6 years. Never thought I would ever get anything else. Now I need to find something new. I'm disappointed. I filled out a survey after I bought them and was disappointed no one followed up.

I use this shoe to work in the yard and it gets wet. Last week, the sole came loose and almost fell off. The shoe is otherwise in great shape, but it is now worthless.
