The plastic triangle connecting the straps were incredibly uncomfortable. Even though I sized up and tried wearing with socks they hurt so I ended up giving the shoes away

Ugly and uncomfortable. I miss the old mesh version from a few years ago. The traditional webbing is far too stiff and clunky.

They gave me blisters on both tops of my feet during the first month of wearing and they leave black marks on the bottom of my feet.

These are cute but the straps are SO stiff. They gave me blisters on my big and pinky toes, despite being wide enough in the toe box. I don't know how anyone can walk any distance with the hard straps and plastic pieces digging into their feet.

These are not the old Tevas. The straps are stiff and dig into your foot leaving red marks. Teva doesn't do customers any favor by not making half sizes. Your foot slides when you are walking, leaving your foot sole all red and raw. I had to return them.

I've had several pairs of Reba's that I love but the way this foot bed of this shoe is designed it pinched your foot when you walk.

I bought these because I have an older pair that are quite comfortable. These are a slightly different fit. I wore them for 2 days, adjusting the front strap several times, before I stopped wearing them due to pain. I've now had the same very sharp pain in the metatarsal joint on my right big toe for more than a month. I blame these sandals. I never had this pain before wearing them. Waiting to see a podiatrist.

Sadly, Tevas are not what they used to be. I have on my feet a 20 year old pair with failing velcro, which is why I wanted new ones. They have a wonderful supportive foot bed and I'm comfortable wearing them all day. The new Hurricane pair I purchased is basically flat.

I’ve always worn Teva’s and feel they are usually worth the price. This model is asymmetrical and looks clunky. The outside strap by the small toe is designed awkwardly and was painful.

I bought these sandals to replace my old tevas my dog chewed up, as they stopped making the other design. These are terribly designed & the strap material needs to be way smoother so people can avoid blisters. Within a few steps I hated how bad they rubbed my skin. They also are too small even though I ordered my correct size. Going on vacation in a few weeks & really upset I wasted my time & money on these.

The plastic triangle which holds all the straps together is extremely uncomfortable. It presses on my foot on the outside metatarsal bone,.
That is why I have returned them.
Other than that, excellent quality, sturdy foot bed, well made.
I would love to see you try a flexible soft rubber triangle instead.
Thank you.

I agree with the people who have commented on the irritating seam. There is a seam that runs along the ball of the foot, right where the shoe bends. So that every time I took a step, it would pinch the ball of my foot. I honestly don't understand how anyone can tolerate wearing these.

I purchased these for paddle boarding, jet skiing, hiking, and the beach. They looked very rugged which is why I purchased them. Less than 2 years later they are completely falling apart.
The glue that holds the sole together has basically evaporated and the sole is peeling in 2 pieces. This has also resulted in the straps falling off.
Teva only offers a 1 year warranty so they will not replace them. It's too bad. I will never purchase Teva sandals again.

I'm sorry to say but it was a disappointment for me. I love the colors, but I don't like the shape of the sandal it's too wide and doesn't compliment my foot that's small. A big disappointment for me I don't even know if I will wear them.. or purchase online any other sandal of yours. Definitely my mistake not trying on first in a store but I live in Israel and no stores have these at this time of year. I ordered it to my mom in New York and she brought them here. So I'm pretty sure I won't be able to return them since she will only go back to the states in February.

Sandals are Ok but this pair arrived worn/dirty. I LOVE Zappos and this has never happened before. I'm sure it is a one time thing. Just thought you should know.

I have been wearing and loving the Terra Fi and other Teva styles since I started hiking in college. 30-some years later, why have you changed your foot beds so that they no longer fit my feet? I loved the Terra Fi 1, 2, 3, and 4. But the 5s fit completely different and I had to return them. I thought maybe I would get lucky with the Hurricane XLT2, but it was also very uncomfortable and just "off." Now that I am semi-retired and only wearing hiking sandals every day here in Costa Rica, my last 2 pairs of the Terra Fi 4 are almost worn out and I don't know what I'm going to do. I've tried other brands and they don't fit right either. Please help! Please go back to your wonderful-fitting Terra Fi hiking sandals before I am barefoot.

I purchased these on another website and they fell apart within 4 months of purchase. I had previously owned other Teva brand sandals and wore them until the soles wore out. I was looking for a pair of sandals to walk my dog. Sometimes the grass is damp, sometimes there are puddles and sometimes the conditions are dry. I wanted a comfortable pair that could handle any condition and hoped these would work. The sole separated from the bottom of the shoe within 4 months. I spoke to Teva's customer service team regarding the warranty and not only would I have to pay to send them back, but since I didn't pay the same price as on the Teva website, I'd have to pay the difference to "replace" them under warranty. It isn't worth it to me to use their "warranty" policy based on my out of pocket expense. It is not the Teva brand I adored in the 90s. Sadly my search for a good water friendly dog walking shoe continues.

I have purchased many other pairs of Teva sandals before. They were always comfortable and were made to last a long time. This pair has a hard insole - feels like walking on concrete and the back strap forces your feet too far forward, making the toes go up to and over the front edge. It`s a poorly designed sandal, certainly not with comfort in mind. I am returning them.

Been a Teva fan for many years up until the last 2-3 years. They fall apart at the soles now. The last 5 pairs I've bought have done this. Very disappointed as they were the only thing I'd wear to work in ( i work outside ) shop in, and beat around in as I live in Florida. Nothing worse then the bottom of your shoe giving out in the middle of your day on the job!

The material the straps are made of is too stiff making them uncomfortable to wear for any period of time, let alone hiking in them. Also, did not like the color/looks of the sole. The plastic rings are uncomfortable, too.

I believe you have made your women's sandals 1 inch wider. All my other Teva sandals are 3 1/2 inches wide. Your new Hurricane XLT2 is 4 1/2 inches wide. Why did you make them wider 1 inch wider ?? I am returning this shoe even though I love the colors.

I ended up returning these and keeping the Tirra's. These were extremely wide and chunky. The ankle strap was too long and just felt very off. It would be a perfect Sandal if they weren't so wide.
