These sandals don't compare to the older TEVA sandals I have. I have low back problems and had hoped these would help with my back pain. Not enough arch support and could use a bit more height in the heel.

I wanted to love these but the grooves in the footbed were pinching my foot and I had to return

Teva sandals are always comfortable, although this particular construction overwhelmed my feet. The straps are wide and thick along with the velcro. Too much shoe for my feet!

I was hopeful, but I just packed these up to return. The length was fine. I’m an 8-1/2 or 9 and I purchased the 9. The configuration of the front just dug into my little toe. That’s a negative for me as I need for walking a few miles. I believe it’s the plastic that joins the toe strap to the strap that comes up side of foot. Little or no arch support for me. I have an arch!

Why Teva, why?
You keep messing with a good thing! Now I have been wearing the "Hurricane" styles for so many years & have branched to the dressier Siera a couple times now. What gives? Years ago the Hurricane styles, a women's size 6 fit me so well. Then you made a bigger & clunkier foot bed & sole which a size 6 was now wider a tad longer. I got way use to them for several years & was so excited when I purchased 4 pairs within the past 4 months. 3 pair of women's size 6 Hurricane ~ (what ever the letters & numbers they're calling them these days", and 1 pair of Siera. On all three pair of Hurricane sandals, the foot bed has got to be at least 1/4" to 5/8" shorter than my last several pair. I currently own 14 or 15 pair. Seriously. Why can't your sizing stay consistent? My big toes are just nudging & dying to creep over the front of the sandals! So what I think is strange, in most other shoes, including running shoes, I am a 7 1/2 & 7 in sandals! I'm not diggin this as I have complained before!

These shoes look awesome and I'm hoping they will break in more. The fit is right, but I immediately got blisters on the sides of my toes. They don't feel tight, but that top strap just rubs the wrong way.

I really wanted to like these: Hurricane XLT2. But the pair I ordered had two different length straps that go across the top of your foot (the area beneath the toes). The right foot fit perfect, the left was clearly not measured correctly and short in length. I tried them on when I received them and could not imagine why one felt so much tighter than the other. Upon further inspection, I noticed the difference in the straps. I assume this was a quality control issue. I'll attach pictures. I still give three stars because I was able to return them easily and without an issue. I love my Teva Original Universals... so no issue there either.

Good arch support, but the plastic clip that joins the toe strap to the side strap is not very comfortable.

They are great for casually walking around. They aren't as good for long hikes. Unfortunately, they cause blisters to form on my pinky toes. If I wore socks, I guess I could wear them for long hikes, but that is a terrible look. After the wear and tear of me using them constantly for a few months, they are still in good condition. Except for the blisters/ raw spots, they are very comfortable to wear.

My feet run narrow, I don't need specially sized shoes, but these are definitely far too wide for me.

If you're looking for serious athletic sandals, these will do the trick. I felt they were too much width and bulk for using casually and sent back. The sizing is comparable to dress shoe size. I wear a 6 in dress shoes, a 6.5 in sneakers and the 6 were the right fit.

I like this product because of the color light tan/beige for use with summer clothing.
They are comfortable but I do need a little extra length at the toes.

I wanted to love these but they just don't agree with my feet/legs. I have a pair of Teva from years ago that have much better arch support and are so comfortable but they don't seem to make them any more. I tried these because I want a pair of white sandals for the beach. I only wore them a short time several days but without the arch support they throw off my gait too much and started causing knee pain and aching legs almost immediately. Unfortunately I had to return them.

They were comfortable on my feet. Wore them almost daily for one summer, then the bottom part of the sole came off. It may have been a coincidence, but it happened after I wore them in the water. I will look for one with a solid sole next time.

Overall these shoes were comfortable, but I did experience the same almost pinching sensation that other reviewers felt by the groove under the ball under the foot. It was noticeable enough that I decided to ultimately decided to return the sandals, unfortunately. My husband bought the same sandal and the groove did not bother him, however.

The sandal itself is made well and comfortable. I purchased them recently for a trip where we would be walking a lot in the heat. I am a 9 in all shoes but these seemed a little big on one foot and HUGE on the other. Granted, I have a half size difference in each foot which makes it fun but usually a 9 is fine. I ended up getting blisters on each foot as the strap laid right on my foot where the big toe stems from. I was super sad as the remainder of my trip was band aids and limping. This wasn't entirely the shoes flawed design and could have been that they were just too big. If they had HALF sizes, an 8.5 would have been perfect but I think and 8 which is the next size down may have been too small.

I love the blue color of these sandals. The size was right for me but I did not like the extra length in the toe box, seemed excessive. The arch support was good, it is a nice lightweight sandal but I am returning them. There is a gap line where the ball of the foot meets the shoe. I am assuming this is there so the shoes gives and will not split. Unfortunately, each time I took a step I could feel a slight pinch on the ball of my foot, weird design. I will look for another style of Teva as they are great shoes!

I think these shoes are comfortable and good for wide feet, but I find that the fabric on the straps rubs onto my skin on the side of the ball of my foot and also the ankle. I had a pair of tevas that aren't being sold anymore that are soooo comfortable but they are more of a rubber smooth feeling than the fabric straps on these sandals. I hope my feet get used to it otherwise I can't wear these for too long. It sucks because I like the style a lot.

I really loved my original Tevas 'back in the day' so ordered a pair of these. The fit and quality were good, but this style didn't work for me - the footbed stuck out too far on the sides of the shoe for my liking. Sent them back and exchanged for the 'original' Teva style.

I wanted to love these but they were very comfortable and I didn't think they'd work for what I needed them for (river trips!)
As another reviewer noted, there is a seam across the footbed that punches the bottom of your foot. I couldn't justify keeping them because of this.

I love the adjustable straps so they fit my feet nice and tight however, one of the strap connectors rub against my foot and leave blisters. The shoe is pretty durable while hiking but if you get them wet you will be sliding every where, they don't have much grip on the bottoms.

I wear Tevas constantly, winter and summer in Colorado, and love having different styles and colors. This particular sandal floor makes my feet sweat. Is it a different composition?

I really like the shoes and they fell mostly secure on my feet, which is what I wanted after a broken ankle. I just wish they had 1/2 sizes. I'm normally a 7.5 and I had to order 8's and one shoe fits my right foot fine but my left foot always feels loose, not matter how much I adjust. So overall they are ok but I don't know if I will buy again. Also very little arch support. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and my arches kill me after wearing these for a day.
