I love the shoe and this is the second pair that I have owned.however I am extremely disappointed that the strap fabric is so easily snagged and frayed. The shoes look like I have worn them for a year instead of a couple of months.

I have worn another similar brand for years but had to change due to my heel sitting low and causing achilles pain. Hurricane XLT2 sole is flat so that works. It has minimal arch support and I wish it had more. I miss the Tirra style sandal with the old "anatomic footbed". I love that all the straps are adjustable. Overall I like this sandal but the footbed is SO wide since you've made it gender neutral. In case you haven't noticed women's feet are not as wide as men's so why are you sacrificing fit in an attempt to fit all feet with one shoe?? Please make this shoe in women's AND men's sizes. Then I can rate it higher.

I love my old Hurricanes and I really wanted to love the new ones but as one reviewer said the footbed just isn't the same. They have subtly tweaked the design and it just doesn't have the same feel and arch support.

I have 4 pairs of these for 10 years now. The new one doesn't seem to have the same support as they used to. I'll see how comfortable they are in a year.

I have always been a big fan of Tevas/Hurricane but the footbed has changed and I am not a fan of the new Tevas. My old pair had a more rubbery grip and new pair does not. I find that the heel on the new pair has a raised outer band that makes it feel like my shoes are too small whenever I take a step over the raised outer band. New pair also doesn't have the fabric covering the triangle between the top part of the foot and the underside of the straps in the upper foot area. It can pinch a bit. Still comfortable but disappointed.

I love these sandals, but after 1 year + 1 month (just outside zappos's return window!) they fell apart. The bottom of the sole separated from the top of the sole so now I can't walk with them. That said, I'm a mom of young kids and I don't have the energy to find something better, so I admit that I just ordered another pair.

I love how these soles feel on my feet. I love how secure they are. I love how breathable they are and how I can adjust them for whatever I'm doing to a point they almost feel like I'm not wearing shoes. HOWEVER, I do believe the design is flawed where the plastic triangle anchoring the steps straps. This rubs into my inner sole of my foot and causes great pain after x amount of hours. I wish they could cover that up with padding. Otherwise I would give 5 stars

Decent sandals for walking. Good support. Straps are scratchy.

I really loved the shoe, the sole, straps, the colors, everything but.. the metal triangle in from that holds the straps was painful and knew it would cause blisters because there is no padding behind it. So I exchanged it for a similar shoe with padding.

I have tried adjusting all of the straps, but I cannot get the right sandal back strap to stay high enough to clear my heel. It feels like I am going to walk out of the sandal. I think TEVA shortened the bottom strap on the triangle piece that connects the straps that go behind the heel and over the instep. I never had this issue with any other TEVA sandals and I have been wearing them for over 30 years.

I wore them to work as soon as I opened package. And had a blister by the days' end. Even with adjusting them, one foot has trouble with the ring beside the little toe. I can wear them for short spurts but that's it. It's unfortunate because I wanted to take them traveling with me, but I have an older pair of well broken in Tevas I will take instead. I'll keep trying!

I work as a river guide so these shoes got pretty heavy use, but i obviously expected them to last far longer than 6 months. Really wish they held up because I loved everything else about them, but the glue holding the sole on just degraded so quickly.

I like my new tevas, but the arch support isn't nearly as good as that in my old pair20 years old! Maybe I just got the wrong style.

Comfort wise, I felt like these were very pleasant with a nice balance of squish and support. I wasn’t expecting the part that your foot rests against to be so memory foam feeling. But it’s a great feature. I ordered an 11 and they were way too big. This surprised me, because I more or less wear an 11 in almost everything. They were too wide as well. If you have a very wide foot, or require a significant toe-splay, this will be your kind of sandal. Even going down a size I figured these wouldn’t work for me. So I’m not reordering. Still on the hunt for the right Teva for me.

Skechers changed the style of the Reggae sandal much to my disappointment. I gave these a try and while they are very comfortable soles I could not get past the low heel strap and triangle shaped plastic loop so low on the ankle/foot. It rubbed on an area of the foot that doesn't get much friction so I found it to be uncomfortable. They are very well made sandals and, again, the footbed was very comfortable.

I LOVE teva and have worn them my whole life. These sandals though didn't quite meet my expectations. I bought these for hiking and discgolfing. The top strap rubs and irritates the front of my ankle. I can't return since I wore them out so I am just trying to get used to it. Secondly, they fit wide. With this, they're not the best fit for either activity I purchased them for. It's too bad I couldn't return or trade them for another design. I mean, how am I supposed to know they don't wear well until I actually wear them out and about at least once?

I have the old version where there's neoprene padding and lots of great arch support. These had neither! I'm surprised and so disappointed so returning unfortunately.

I wanted really good arch support & these did not have enough. Instead I got Bierkenstock Mayari's with fantastic arch support.

I love Teva's and after a year of being hard on them with countless of trails and hiking, I decided it was time to turn them in and get a new pair. I ordered same style and same size. I had tried a different style and they were too small so I figured best to get the same style. Only problem is, I think Teva is starting to run small! Returning for a larger size. I've always been a size 8-8.5 and in photos, you can see my last year pair of TEVA's on the left as a size 8 and the new Teva's on the right size 8. I debated on keeping them because I hate returning items but I felt like a big toddler in them so hopefully a size up will help. I would recommend sizing up based on my experience.

There are grooves in the inside sole which pinch my feet while walking. The straps have rough edges which gave me blisters the first couple of times I wore them. The sandals themselves are more narrow than they used to be and I prefer them to be a bit wider. They are tolerable but not nearly as comfortable as Tevas used to be.
