Perfect for outdoor winter activity.

I love these shoes. I bought them to replace my Salomon x-ultra hiking shoes, which started to squeak when I walk. At first there were some pressure points around the ankles and toe knuckle area. After a week, they were broken in and comfortable. I was looking for some regular looking hiking shoes that I could wear to work. The Salomon shoes looked too technical, though they performed very well.

Needed a versatile, weatherproof shoe for upcoming winter trip to Europe. This shoe will serve multiple functions and stylistically finds the middle ground between sporty and outdoorsy.

These shoes feel great. Plenty of width. They do not pinch my feet. A little on the heavy side.

Fit and size is true. The shoe feels a little stiff but I think that it’s supposed to. I really like the lace pull and cinch mechanism. I wanted a pair of rugged outdoor shoes that were relatively easy to put and take off. They are waterproof which is great. I don’t like fussing with lace up boots or hiking shoes. I use these to walk around in cooler weather and doing yard work. They look kind of cool without being too stylized for what they are.

My husband loves these shoes. He is on his second pair. He also recommended them to our college student son, who also loves them!

Not worn them in the rain, but so far, so good. I normally wear an 11 in Nike, so I ordered 1/2 size smaller (10.5) because the laces are pull strap, which I wanted to stay away from heel slippage. Glad I ordered smaller; toes fit and heel doesn’t slip at all. Well constructed shoe and looks great; rugged boot-like traction. Looking forward to wearing them in water and snow. I’ll update if performance is bad, but I’m expecting it to be same high quality, like the shoe.

Solid construction, comfortable and keep my feet dry when walking around rainy Seattle.

perfect all year round shoes

Fit and function are both very important to me. In regard to both of these considerations, this is the best fitting shoe that I have every worn. Love the sliding lace and can have them modestly tight and slide my foot in and out with out adjusting. Snug but by no means with any pressure anywhere. I wear them till the bottom sole is wasted and the shoe still fits like a glove. On my way to pair #3. Keep up the great work adidas!

Love these shoes!, it’s probably my 5th or 6th pair and haven’t found anything better. They could have a tiny bit more arch support (I like a lot) but they are definitely the most comfortable shoes I own. On a side note if you have wider feet they may require a little break in time but they do loosen up.

I purchased these shoes as a gift for my grandson. He plays disc golf and said he likes the fit and the outdoor tread grips with the ground. Probably good for all types of outdoor activities.

Great shoes! I wouldn’t say they felt a 1/2 size big, maybe more like a 1/4, so couldn’t really size down for fit. The lace system takes a second to perfect, especially since I l like my shoes super tight when doing any outdoor activities, but over all I really like it. Super quick to take off!

Absolutely waterproof. Like the speed lacing. So good, I bought a second pair.

I absolutely love these shoes. I'm an urban dweller who was looking for waterproof shoes for those torrential Chicago spring shower days, and didn't want to go with rubber waders (no style; very uncomfortable for long walks) or the typical hiking boots (e.g. Merrill or Keens, which are very functional and comfortable, but just look very mountain man like). I wanted more sneaker/athletic looking shoes that could work with shorts without making me look like a host on NatGeo or Animal Planet. Bingo! These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and look great. They definitely have a more supportive, thicker midsole feel than a normal sneaker, but they look great - a hybrid between those hikers I mentioned and a casual sneaker. Absolutely waterproof. Easy to put on and take off (I hate lacing up shoes, so really dig these sliding cord mechanisms). I just got them, but might get a second pair already. Great job Adidas!

The sole is quit rigid, but it breaks in over time, and is incredibly grippy. Wearable every day. Never had any issues with the Gortex; feet stay dry no matter the conditions. This is my second pair of Swift GTXs, and still very happy with them.

This is my second pair, my first was black, I purchased the navy this time around. These are great shoes from the gym to the golf course to the mountains. That is correct, I use these for golf and they are excellent. On top of great support and function these are stylish and you can easily wear these out on the town. They run true to size and are extremely comfortable. Do not hesitate to buy you won't be disappointed.

The fit and sizing on this shoe is awesome. I am on my second pair, although the first pair are 2 years and still waterproof and not worn out. The speed laces are a great feature on this shoe, they can be replaced with regular laces with a little care not to damage the laces when removing them. The small pull tab at the end of the lacing system comes apart and you un-knot and remove the laces. Glad I bought the first pair, Great Shoe!. Zappos staff is fantastic and very helpful if you have ant issues. Good Luck, David 6/11/2018.

This is my second pair of Terrex Swift GTX (my first in the "R2" version). If they're anything like my originals, they'll last a few years as mine are still going strong. They're comfortable and grip well on damp rocks and my socks remain dry on hikes over wet terrain. The bungee lace-up system is secure and easy to use. For me, I love my original Terrex Swift GTX so much, it only made sense to checkout the next generation.

Amazing. Never owned a pair of Adidas trail runners before- always stuck with Solomon, NFace, Merrill etc. Just got back from some intense hikes and runs in Jackson Hole Wyoming- stood up to rain, mud, rocks, and sheer uphills and downs. Totally waterproof and comfortable. Made my vacation.
