Another women's sporty raincoat that is too big on top and too tight at the hip. Am I the only one with this issue?

Great in every way. Looks wonderful, fits well and repels the rain without any problem. True too fit. I have often found that plus sizes are not flattering, yet this jacket is attractive. I went hiking in the rain twice and it proved to be a very useful. A comfortable rain jacket.

So I have an interesting review for this rain coat. First things first.. the style is just ok. For me it was kinda boxy and not flattering at all. I wish it had a belt that could be tied around the waist for a more fitted look. The sleeves were too big even for my arms and I am a tall person. The sleeves do have a Velcro wrap around the cuffs, but makes the sleeves look bunched up when used. I also didn't like the constant "swoosh swoosh" sound when wearing this jacket - it definitely was a loud jacket due to the type of fabric. Interestingly enough I decided to keep this jacket even though I didn't love it because I was desperate for a rain coat right then and there. So fast forward to a couple months later. My jacket was in the trunk of my car; unfortunately so was a bottle of bleach that I bought from the store. I was driving down the road and I could smell something odd.. soon I remembered that I had bleach in the trunk and that was what I was smelling. I pulled over and my trunk reeked of bleach from this rolling bottle. The lid of the bottle had twisted off and the bleach was mainly pooled up in my new jacket. I was actually able to removed the jacket and dump off the bleach without it getting all over the trunk carpet. So if this jacket is bleach proof (meaning no liquid getting thru).. then clearly this jacket is perfect for the rain. The bleach did ruin the coloring of my jacket and I did have to throw in away.. but it did save the carpet of my trunk from being completely destroyed.

Nice jacket. I ordered my regular size and even had room for a light weight sweatshirt under it. It is the perfect weight for spring and it doesn’t make that weird sound when you wear it like some rain jackets. I got the gray color and it has a nice small print on it. Will get very good use out of this jacket this spring.

For us curvy gals, it has been really tough to find a waterproof jacket that accommodates warm layering underneath and doesn't make you feel like a cased sausage. This jacket runs small so size up definitely if you plan on layering. Seriously designers, some arm gussets and curved seams for " the girls" would go far, but still I do love this jacket . Been stressing out trying to find a waterproof item that actually fits, i need this for upcoming trip to the UK, The navy with polka dots makes me happy. You'll be seeing me dancing in the rain

I found the fit correct, and given it’s a plus size, pretty flattering. Covers well, keeps me dry, more a “blue” than an “orange” red — and bright enough to be seen in drizzle. I think it’s compact enough it’s easy to take with on a trip “just in case,” a frequent occurrence in the Pacific NW.

This is a pretty jacket but not for me. The collar stands up too high at the neck, not comfortable at all if you zip the jacket all the way up. It's cold here so I sometimes need to do this to block the wind. The fabric is a tiny bit noisy but not bad. An interior pocket would have been nice. Also, the double up and down zipper did not work very well, had to really maneuver to zip it up. Nice hood, liked the visor. Would have kept it but the high neck was a no go, had to return it. BTW - I ordered a 1x, I am usually a larger or extra large. the fit was decent, a little big.

The coat came and was very nice and comfortable. Just what I was looking for.

Perfect rain coat to go to Europe. Lined was very important to me & a little warmer than a thin shell. The fabric is cute & it is well made. Nice!

I purchased this jacket a couple years ago and recently lost it in a house fire. I loved that jacket and came back to buy the same one.

This Columbia Splash a Little II rain jacket is very lightweight which I like because it's waterproof, and I don't need to be sweating in a heavy jacket while trying to stay dry. Although I haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet, the quality seems very good and constructed well. The hood is just the right size and has a slight brim that protects your face and seems as if it will still stay on without having to tighten a drawstring. This hood does have an elastic draw cord which won't disappear inside the hood as it's nicely connected on either side. The hand pockets are generous and are equipped with zippers. There is even a nice sized zippered pocket hidden on the inside of the placket at the chest. The sleeves are slightly too long, but can be cuffed and there's a generous amount of exterior coat material to be cuffed before the lining shows which is very nice. The sleeves also have Velcro tabs to tighten at the wrists. The full front zipper is two-way which is great for sitting and zips smoothly. The jacket also has snap closures on the placket that covers the zipper and snaps under your chin to keep you as dry as possible. There's an inner mesh lining that is breathable which contributes to the lightweight outer shell while staying waterproof. Can we talk about how cute the nocturnal swell dot print is that I chose? A great shade of navy blue with wavy graphic circles that ombr into complimenting colors. I love it and can't wait to wear it to get the full experience!

This coat did its job keeping me dry from the rain. It is definitely not a warm coat so make sure to layer up underneath if it is colder out. Overall great coat, not tight and has room.

I haven't had the opportunity to wear this yet, however, I have tried it on and it fits great and looks super cute. The sleeves are long enough and it isn't tight in the upper arms.

As a fat babe, it can be very hard to find raincoats that are functional (ie more than 'water resistant') and don't make me look like a giant blob. This raincoat is legitimately cute, cut well, and worked great to keep me dry. I love the little funky polka dot print on it.

This jacket fits perfectly. Love the overall look. Like that the jacket has a zipper and snaps, also the zippered pockets! The sleeves are a little long but the cuffs are adjustable so no problem. The length is perfect to go over longer tops. I would definitely reccommend this purchase. The jacket is well made and seems to be great quality. Jacket is perfect for walking and light weight.

I bought it o e size bigger, so if I need a sweater under it I can. Its strictly rain. LOVE it! Has everything I wanted but warmth.

Love the fun pattern of this coat. Not your usual dull plain black or blue. I like the extra features such as inside zipper pocket and dual zippers. Quality coat and good fit.

Very pleased with this jacket. The design is very flattering, gives me a shape! Love it!
