This is so nice and long and true to size so I bought a roomier one. With loads of pockets inside and out and a large well fitting hood. It was definitely made for an active buys life like mine! So glad I found it.

Excellent quality as always! Great to dress up for the office or down on casual days during inclement weather.

Love the color! Will go with every season. This jacket is a must!

I wear a 1X and I ordered a 2X. This is perfect for my needs. I travel and I have been looking for a simple yet functional rain jacket. It has room for me wearing a sweater or layers.

The Jacket was delivered on time and fit very well. Easy to pack (took up only a little space). Great for day travels.

The raincoat fits well and does the job of keeping me dry. The long back is probably my favorite feature of this jacket. I walk a lot and the long back helps keep me dry when water splashes. Only negative is the "swishing" noise the jacket makes when it rubs against itself, but that seems to be a property of water repellant rainwear. I 100% recommend this jacket, though.

This jacket is just right for a rainy day. It looks good on and I received lots compliments on the style and color (pond). I sized up just in case I wanted to wear a sweater underneath but I don't think that was necessary because the jacket runs a little big. This is the 5th jacket/coat I've purchased from Columbia since December 2018 and now I'm afraid I'm addicted. I really recommend this jacket.

Great arm length, wonderful coverage for full downpours in the Pacific Northwest! I love how deep the pockets are, absolutely perfect for your phone and a few accessories. As usual a great quality garment from Columbia!

I was looking for a great raincoat that fit well, had hand pockets, and a hood. This raincoat is breathable, light, cute, and functional. The security pocket is very useful.

This product is so light weight. It would fit easily in a suitcase or carry on bag. Always look for pocket that zip and this coat has them along with a security pocket inside. Never disappointed with Columbia products. Coat runs a little large in the body but that's fine with me because I usually layer under raincoats.

I bought this rain jacket for an upcoming cruise to Alaska because of the chances for rain daily while we are there. I bought it one size larger than I normally wear so as to be able to wear layers beneath it. So far I've worn it once and loved the material. It seems sturdy and is quite comfortable. Additionally, I liked the slightly longer length as we'll. I almost consistently love every jacket I've ever gotten for Columbia, they just do a great job making a quality product!

Little longer then most jackets does run a little small so i would size up Like that it had snaps instead of the velcro. Would recommend

I LOVE this jacket! It's lightweight & breathable. Nice pockets & coverage. The Red Mercury is a beautiful color, I get constant compliments on it.

I really like this jacket. I highly appreciate the length that makes it perfect for those times when you really just can't or don't want to carry an umbrella but still remain just as dry as if you had. The key to why you want this particular coat is in the details. The complete and total seam sealing and the zippered pockets, the breathability, those are things that put this jacket over the top for me.

I wore this on a long very wet rainy day at Disneyworld. It kept me dry and provided enough warmth with a lightweight sweater. I love that you can tighten up the hood to keep the wind and rain out. I also love the zip from both ends. The deep pockets that zip hold a lot of stuff (important for those wild roller coaster rides!) The adjustable cuffs are super too. This jacket performed very well and kept a cold rainy day from becoming miserable. If I could tweak one thing, I would make it a tad longer so that when you sit down, it covers your butt.

I was a bit nervous about getting this jacket because I carry most of my weight through my mid section. Jackets like this typically are too tight or they just don't zip. This jacket fit perfectly! It's great for windy and rainy days. I love the fact that it has a hood as well!! And ladies, the green color is GORGEOUS!!!

The jacket fits well. Comfy, breathes well, arms and chest roomy without being loose. Love this jacket!

This raincoat has more substance than the packable jackets, but is still light. I went up a size so I could wear bulky items underneath it, but found the arms to be quite small. A flannel shirt was about all mine would comfortably fit in the upper arms. Unlike Columbia's plus tops which can run large, this coat runs on the smaller side. Not a whole size down, but if you're between sizes, you might want to go up. For instance, the Glacial Fleece 1/4 Zip in a 3X is about a size 24/26. This coat in a 3X is a 22/24. The arm length was longer than I needed by over an inch (I'm 5'7") but there is velcro at the wrist to cinch them up. There is a soft mesh lining around the upper torso, as well as a velcro hood adjustment, a good quality 2-way zipper with a snap placket that goes all the way up to your chin, and 2 zippered exterior plus one zippered interior pockets. For the price, this is an excellent piece. It also is long enough to cover your bottom when you bend over!

I bought this jacket in pink a few years ago and have loved it. I wanted the gray for a trip to Europe. Lightweight, packs well, and fits great with enough room for a sweater if the weather calls for it.

I ordered four jackets before I settled on this one. The Mercury Red is a very nice red--not dull or cheap looking. I am 5'1" and very plump (205)--ordered a size 3x. This jacket suited my figure which is broad in shoulders, but NOT real busty; generously endowed in hips. This jacket and sizing will allow me to wear a layer underneath. Usually, if I get a jacket or long sweater to fit me in the hips, it is flopping, bagging in the bust. Not with this--I think it has something to do with the cut. . Yes, it has a crunchy sound but many rain jackets do...I don't think it is that bad. Hangs nice; love the two-way zipper, the ability to adjust hood, the velcro adjusting sleeve/wrist opening, the snaps, & the inside pocket. The hood is sized just right; the last rain jacket I purchased--the hood was way oversized (fell over my face!). I consider this jacket packable; I am using it for traveling. I think it was the most packable of the four I ordered (three from Columbia and 1 other site). I have not had the opportunity to try it in a full-fledged rain. No jacket came close to this jacket. I love it!
