This promised to be a fantastic jacket. The quality and make are excellent, I love the color and fit, and I can bike to work without getting wet at all where it covers. But the hood is so shallow! It doesn't cover the front inch or two of the top of my head if I have my hair back, let alone my nose or glasses. Even with my hair down, it just barely covers my forehead. I'm really disappointed; I love everything else about it.

I bought this jacket one year ago. but not try it until recently. This is a good jacket , except it's two way zipper. They are difficult to pull up and down. Need to try a few times to close or open. Hope Columbia will improve the function of the zipper

I bought this because I was pleased to find a waterproof/breathable jacket at this price. Also I really liked the color with the subtle pattern. There is not much ease with this product. I bought an XL. I tend to be either an XL, XXL, or 1X depending on brand. I looked carefully at the measurements on their sizing chart and thought the XL would fit. I can get it on, but it's snug. You would think that with something intended to be an outer layer they would provide more ease for an inner layer. Luckily I intended this to be for fast walks in the rain so I don't need to wear a sweater under it. Also the two-way zipper is hard to get started. Tends to take me three tries.

I always wear a medium when buying a Columbia brand item whether it is in a top or jacket but this jacket was very snug in the hips and bust. I would have had to constantly pull down from the bottom every time I sat or it would have bunched up in the waist. I had to size up to a large which meant that it fit me in the hips and bust but was roomy in the waist. Oh well.

It is rather an odd shape with a bulky front; seems the cut and lining are stitched to try to give some waist shape but it doesn't work well. and the sleeves are too long.

Although it has some nice features, it has a very strange fit. I am 5'2" and 128 lbs, but both the medium and large sizes in this rain jacket were tight through the mid-section. I'm normally a medium or size 6, so for the large to be tight through the waist area seems very strange. Both the medium and large sizes were very roomy in the shoulder area; I could completely cross my arms in front of me comfortably.

According to my measurements I would take a medium. However it is very fitted. There was no room for layering. Otherwise it is a nice rain jacket. I returned and got a different style.

Cute coat but the fit was off for me. I ordered a XS (I am 4'9" petite adult). The coat was too tight so I sent it back and got a s/m and the fit was still off (will send back). The waist line (what makes it so cute and stylish) was at my hip and felt snug when zipped. Also the sleeves were way too long and not made to roll up. The print on this rain jacket is great - kind of like snakeskin. But the website thought I should order a Large which I did. I am 5'5 and 140 lbs and the sleeves were too long, the jacket was too long and the fitted waist was tucked too much. I really wanted to love it, but I'm not happy with the sizing. Now I need to return it and I don't know if they will have it in the medium....

I loved the length of the jacket, however when I received I was really disappointed. The inside it's just mesh lining, not worth the price. There are no pockets pretty much, I guess it's not what I was looking for. I thought the inside meterial was going to be better because of the price. I had many jackets from Columbia before and they all were great.

The coat was fine but the fabric looked kind of cheap. It was a little longer in the back which I did not like but was not clear in the online photo. I returned it but it was mostly due to my personal preference. I loved the longer length.

The white pattern is pleasing, the jacket seems well made, but even though I sized-up from a M to a L, the hips were still too snug, but the sleeves were three inches too long. Very disappointing.

I'm not able to comment on the function of this jacket since I had to return. I own several Columbia jackets and always wear a medium. This one, however, runs small. If I was only going to wear a t-shirt or thin sweater under it at all times, it would work. Sad to see that there are no more in the camelia color in large.

Great looking rain jacket with long fit. But as other reviewers said, runs very fitted on lower half. If you are curvy on the bottom, may not be a good fit. For that reason, I am returning. Also, if you want to be active, it is a bit tight.

I purchased a M so I could wear a thick sweatshirt or sweater underneath. The material was good and thin with a thin lining. 5’3, 125 pounds, 34DD. Length covered my thigh/quad well. But the coat had 2 large tears by the waist thigh area. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Too small and no give. I normally wear a large for breathing room. You'll need a zip up under, it's thin. This was like wearing shape wear, I truly felt snatched like a hoagie in plastic wrap!

I received so many compliments because of the Plum Florescence Print and it was waterproof, too! But, after just two years, the waterproof effects faded and on a cold, rainy day in December my shirt became drenched. I am very disappointed!

Really cute jacket but the sizing is WAY off so I had to return it. WAY too tight across the chest and stomach. Arms seemed a bit long.

I would have love to have given this jacket more stars, but after my third wear, the jacket did not keep me sufficiently dry after being in the rain for about 45 min. I was soaked through on my neck and shoulders and into my vest. I have bought Columbia products for over 2 decades and was surprised this did not held up as long. I've 5'3 about 155lbs. I bought the large because I wanted to layer with a vest and sweater underneath and the fit was great for size L. I normally wear Medium but opted for more room for layering. The cut is great, not too snug and the pockets came in very handy. Wish it held up in the rain better. :(

Loved the design of the jacket, but the sleeves were wayyy too long for the body. Made for a chimpanzee? :) Shame I had to return it.

I have a Columbia rain resistant coat that fits well. I am short (petite) and have a medium build. The coat did not work for me -- clearly a tall thin person could benefit from this coat. I have returned it.

I am normally a Size 4-6. Ordered a Size Small and it was a great fit. However, the sleeves were already rolled up once I opened the package and the tag was inside the pocket, which implies I received a used or returned item. I had to return it. Else, it is a wonderful jacket.

Great jacket well made, nice style. Little longer than most columbia jackets. Runs really small!!! Order up a size or two.
