I bought this jacket just before going on a camping trip and I'm so glad I did. It ended up raining for the first two days of the trip. I wore this jackets to unload the car in the rain and walk the dogs in the rain and it kept me dry to whole time.

I wanted something that would be easy to wear over sweaters to keep me dry regardless of the temp outside. This definitely serves that function perfectly--great in the rain! I love the color and fit. My only complaint is that it's very plastic-y on the inside which makes it feel really sticky and sweaty.

I got a 2x and wish I would have gotten a 3x.
The arms and torso are SHORT. I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs
It's kind of got that sticky humid feel and really just have it as an emergency packable rain coat in my car and in my pack. It's inexpensive and does the job.

I've been living in Colorado for 11 years and finally got around to buying a waterPROOF jacket, which honestly is a game changer. Generally, through late Spring and early Summer, we have torrential downpours and I often get soaked, even wearing water "resistant" coats. This jacket really is waterproof and works great for keeping the top part of you dry. I think it does run a little small. Normally a size 20 - 22 is roomy for me, but I found it to be a little tighter than normal. It does not have a lining, which is what I wanted so that I could layer if needed, however, the drawback to this is that when I wear the jacket open (unzipped) it has a tendency to slide off my shoulders so I am constantly yanking it back up. Also, I wish it was just a tag bit longer, perhaps below the hips instead of right at the hips. I guess this might be different depending on a person's height. I'm 5'8 and have a longer torso. What I do love about this jacket is that it is very lightweight, making it great for traveling. It is well made, the zippers appear to be sturdy, and it has a sleek design, which I appreciate in plus sizes. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and find this jacket very useful.

I loved it because I was glad to pick a right color for me. And it was quite perfect for me. I needed it because of the steady rain, but it was over. Oh well, I still loved it.

I purchased this rain jacket as a spring transitional jacket. It is very lighweight, does not add warmth. The only issue I have with it is the interior of the arms feel "sticky" to bare skin. Overall, I am happy with it. And the colors are very vibrant!

This jacket is very nice and will be used for rainy days. I needed a jacket that was able to keep out rain and it's worked so far. My only issue is that I am not able to zip it up, my normal size for jackets is 3x , so that is what I ordered. However, it is too small.

This is the perfect light weight jacket for rainy weather of PNW. The adjustable hood and sleeve ends make sure no water gets through!

I love this jacket. But want to clarify in the description it says mesh lining. The only mesh lining is located on the inner pockets. The jacket is not actually lined. I love all my Columbia products!

It fits great, but the zipper is really hard to move and gets stuck easily.

The first 15-20 minutes of my work day start outside every day. It was pouring one day and when I went inside and took this jacket off, my shirt underneath was soaked! Made for an uncomfortable & cold few minutes until it dried.

I absolutely love this jacket and the malbec is my favorite color. It was just a little too small. I am going to reorder, although, sadly, in a different color. I bought it in case in rained, and it it is starting to get warmer, for a falconry course, no bright colors. I still love your products.

It a nice windbreaker however the material insides made me sweat minutes after wearing. There is no lining so I would be weary of that!

I like a little more room in my jacket so I can put a second layer under it if I need. Also, for a plus size, the sleeves were a lot longer than on other plus size clothing I buy.

Women's Switchback Rain Jacket is a typical rain coat. I thought it had a lining when i ordered it but it doesn't.

This jacket is okay but I don't like the side pockets and how thin it is it's just too thin for me.

Runs very small. I ordered a 1x and this fits more like a large. It runs 1-2 sizes small. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it so gave it to someone who can wear it.

Very cute but was too small. And was not what I was thinking. I returned and am awaiting my refund.
This jacket does not have a lining so more of a wind breaker, not a rain coat.

Fits as indicated and quality is what you would expect from an unlined windbreaker. My biggest complaint is that it gets so wrinkled when it is folded up and stashed away. The wrinkles do not easily fall out where you can where it again. It is not a great choice for layering unless you have somewhere to hang it when removing.

This jacket seemed well-constructed and good quality. It ran a bit large but would fit well over layers. I also really liked the color (spring blue).
However, it's not lined. I thought I'd ordered a raincoat with a full mesh lining, but I was wrong (I probably misread the description.) I really don't like the feel of this kind of fabric against my skin, and I want to be able to wear it with short sleeves underneath or over a swimsuit in a summer rain. I'm returning for that reason.
If you do not need a lining in your raincoats, I'd absolutely recommend this one.
