The color is very nice.

This is coat is a pretty color and fits well once I ordered a size up than usual. However, I wore this coat during a rainy football game and it kept me dry for about two quarters. After the game, I was completely soaked under the coat. So I would recommend this if you'll only be in the rain for a little while.

Delivery took almost a month... I like the jacket for the most part. It is a little thinner than I expected it to be though.

I bought this for hiking when it's windy or barely sprinkling. Every time I wear it everything underneath it is drenched in condensation. Even when it isn't raining I was drenched under the jacket. I've worn it twice now with the same issue. Even the inside of the coat had drops of water on it. Very strange.

Materials are good quality, color is great! The plus size products from Columbia are way off! Plus sized people aren't all square shaped! This jacket is utilitarian only. It has absolutely zero flattering qualities and it doesn't even come pass the hips and protect my butt. I'd suggest revising the plus sized women's clothing and consult real plus women.

I work outdoors and usually Columbia products are reliable, but this one is incorrectly advertised.It does well in light wind conditions (I work on boats) or as a summer windbreaker. I wore this during a rainstorm and got completely soaked! Rain literally absorbed into this jacket. Do not wear this if you plan on being in the rain for longer than 5 mins!

Horrible breathability. I bought this because it said it was a "... versatile waterproof layer that transitions seamlessly from rain to shine and back again." This made me think there was some breathability but there is not. Great for the cool fall days when you need a layer to keep warm as the material is somewhat hard, rough and thin. Not a fan.

I have tried to purchase jackets in plus size women and they are not true plus size.

Extremely thin. Like wearing nothing. Not accurately sized. Runs small.

I'm a big, big fan of Columbia attire and own SO many pieces. I was really excited about this coat and LOVED the color and fit the first time I tried it on. I bought it for a 9-day Costa Rica trip and am literally typing this review in Costa Rica while riding a tour bus because I'm THAT unhappy with it, it's also the first review I've ever left. I've only used it once and I dread putting it on again. I spent a lot of time researching rain jackets and wanted something light, packable, and effective. My boyfriend has a similar red men's Columbia raincoat, which we originally thought was the same..it wasn't..his had lining and ventilation. We were caught up in a big tropical storm on one of our first nights and needless to say, I was SOAKED when we finally made it back to our room. Whether it's due to ventilation restrictions or something else, I would NOT recommend this coat for anywhere with heavy rains or high temperatures. It didn't feel good on my skin in the rain, nor after. Now I feel like I'm stuck here with no proper coat when the next rain storms hits. I think this coat would be fine for somewhere with lighter rain and moderate/mild temperatures..but not for me.

The picture makes it seem like it's a thick jacket..but when it arrived its light and will not keep you warm. Maybe 20bks worth

This jacket is definitely not worth the price. It fits tightly in the shoulders and the length just isn't what the picture had showed. I was going to return it but Instead, I gave it to my neice. Being a Columbia product I thought it would be a much nicer jacket.

WARNING SUPER THIN. Its literally like wearing a think piece of nothing. Honestly the material is so cheaply made, don't waste your money.

I am a 3x. This is a fitted jacket and not true to size. I had to return the jacket. Also the collar is very different. It sticks straight up. It was very uncomfortable. The color was nice. I do wish for plus size woman that if it's a fitted cut, the manufacturer would add more fabric to make it a true to size.

I bought a size larger than usual, and it was so tight I could barely get my arms into the sleeves. And even then, I couldn't put them down all the way.
