Im a 7 1/2 but 8 fit perfect. I can wear barefoot or with a sock or footie. I ordered black. I put a penny in them. I have the worst time finding comfortable shoes. These shoes didnt even have to be broke in! I love these comfortable shoes & I have a lot of foot problrms. We walked around for 2 hours at the Botonical Gardens & i was so comfortable...

I have been wearing Sperry boat shoes for years - living in Florida they are perfect for easy slip-on and-off style and comfort. But I wanted something more business-like for work, where I walk many steps daily on hard, slick hospital floors. The Penny is exactly what I was looking for. I bought my first pair in Tan just before Thanksgiving, and wore them all that weekend. Although they felt a bit tight and narrow when I first put them on, as the soft leather conformed to my foot shape, they morphed into perfection by the end of the first wearing. I loved them so much that I immediately bought a black pair. I wore them to work for the first time on Friday, and they were comfortable all day long. They can be dressed up or down - I've worn them with a business suit to work, and with khaki capris and a tee shirt on the weekends. I love that they have the Sperry sole with great traction, and that memory foam insole is very cushy and comfortable. Definitely a classic fashion investment that I think will serve me well for years.
