I ordered based on the picture. The shoe looked like smooth, black leather, which is want I wanted. When it arrived, the upper part of the shoe was suede. When I called customer service, the representative also thought the shoe was smooth leather based on the picture. Other than the suede, I liked the appearance of the shoe. Wish it was made of smooth leather.

This shoe met all of my expectations - style, comfort, durability.....and very reasonably priced.

i've enjoyed these shoes so much that I've worn out two pairs and just purchased another. They look great and are long lasting and easy to slip on and off. One benefit of the Top-Sider tread is that you can go outside and pick up minimal amounts of dirt or grass compared to aggressive walking shoe treads; which then is easily wiped off with the doormat. Good soles for indoors and out. When broken in they are as comfortable as slippers, but with the rubber soles you can go outside in wet weather. This is a good feature for dog owners.

COULD NOT LOCATE A STORE THAT CARRIED THIS STYLE IN MY SHOE SIZE.

My husband has worn through three pairs of the more expensive style...he loves them. We thought we'd give these a try. He said the soles are not as supportive ( He spends a lot of time on concrete) but we both like the style and he said they are comfy. I just need to get another pair and hide them for only wearing when we go out!

Everything is excellent in regards to the style and comfort of these shoes. They fit just a little big, if you typically are between sizes then go down a half size. One problem though, my left shoe came in with a few scratches on the inside heel, however they are not that noticeable.

I bought these for my husband and he has raved about how much he loves them. He said the leather is high quality and they are super comfortable. You can wear them with jeans or slacks! great shoes. He sometimes wears a size 14 but the 13 fit perfect!

This shoe looks great, has an excellent fit, and is very comfortable. My husband commented he usually has to wear shoes for awhile to break them in for comfort. These shoes were comfortable the first time he wore them!!

I ordered these for my boyfriend online after searching everywhere for these in his size. The shoes arrived in about 4 days, surprising duringing the holiday's, and my boyfriend absolutely loved them. Great style, perfect size, and it's an awesome gift.

I own a few pairs of shoes from the various Sperry Top-Sider lines; this shoe is my favorite of the bunch. It is comfortable in all environments and can be worn for extended periods of time. I highly recommend this product to prospective buyers.

This shoe fits so well and is so comfortable. It is exactly what the website said it was. The shoes came very quickly and the entire purchase process was handled with ease! I have received many compliments on this shoe.

Hadn't bought a pair of Sperry's in years. Mainly because of wearing work boots during the day, and I am partial to boots. I was once a huge fan of Sperry in the high school days so I bought a pair of Mako's. Can't tell you the compliments I have gotten and these shoes break in great and wear like no other! They look good and feel good with or without a sock! Definitely recommend!!!

The Mako boat shoes are very comfortable. They feel "broken in" right out of the box. They are suitable for any casual occasion. The AA width is a little too wide from the heel to the instep, but true in the toe box. The side laces help to adjust for this. The Amaretto color is dark chocolate brown rather than the dark maroon suggested by the pictures.

I bought product as a gift for my son thirteen birthday he hinted that all the kids are wereing Sperrys in school now because it the style now. I have to say I want a pair now he love them he has bad pains in his feet and most shoe hurt his feet. He has not complained one time they are a great product.

What's to say about Sperry. They are consistent in their quality and there is never a disappointment. Cannot remember when I didn't have at least one pair of Sperry's.

My 6'2" son sometimes has a had time finding the right shoe, but he absolutely loved these! They are very stylish, comfortable and fit true to size.

I really enjoy my Sperry's! I received them quickly in the mail, and they were undisturbed in their box. They are very comfortable, and fit my feet well. My one problem would be getting the laces to stay tied in a good way. I had to finagle the laces to get them to stay. They are a great pair of shoes, and I'm glad I got them!

These shoes exceeded my expectations. I have a very narrow heel so I opted for the smallest width and they fit great. The actual shoe size I would say is accurate, although every company varies a little bit. Build quality is superb, it really looks like these will last a while. I'm pleased with the leather quality and finish, as well as the break in period. Add a set of odor eaters to them and you're set!
