First Merrell product i can recall with very poor fit. Super uncomfortable. Too tight across toes, too loose in heal. Very stiff. Very surprised and disappointed.

Felt too large

I loved the look, the texture, the color, the quality, but they just didn't feel comfortable in the toe area. Sad to return them.

I was a loyal customer buying your previous Encore Breeze slip-on made in China. They were perfect for my foot problems. I would have been a life-long purchaser of these shoes. This product is no longer available to buy. I tried the Encore Q2 Breeze (now made in Indonesia) & will be returning them. The sizing is off, they are obviously more cheaply made & are not the quality I expect from Merrell. You have lost what would have been a loyal customer. I have read in other reviews that numerous other people feel the way I do. Please bring back the original, better made Encore Breeze. Thank you.

I have worn nothing but Merrells for 16 years. I have been wearing the Encore style since it came out. Always comfortable and fit perfectly. Now you have ruined it with your latest update. The medium width is no longer medium but ;much narrower than the old version and hurts my feet. The wide is way too wide and my feet slide around. The new soles also cause me heel pain which I never had in the old version. Please Please go back to the older style. I had to return these.

Although I have bought the Breeze line for years, this version did not fit....too narrow and too long even though I bought the same size for the last several pairs. Now know I cannot shop Merrel on line. I need to try them on.

I have owned versions of these shoes, Encore Breeze, in various colors( at least 10 pair) going back to 2006. Size 6 1/2 used to perfectly fit. Now Merrell doesn't even make size 6 1/2. I tried size 7 on at the Merrell shop in Mackinac City Michigan and I couldn't even get my foot inside. I can only surmise Merrell has changed the last and cheapened the product. Too bad for Merrell, they have lost a loyal customer who as purchased at least 25 pairs of Merrell shoes in the past several years.

I owned a pair of these shoes for about ten years and wore them all the time. I had high hopes for this new pair but they smell like a petroleum refinery. I left the shoes out to air for three days but they still smell. I can't imagine wearing these.

The Q2 is a great disappointment. The original breeze is great. I have 4 pair, but had to return the new Q2 version. They did not hug my foot. Material. also looked chintzy.

I was hoping to be able to give a 5 star rating and it's so disappointing that I can't.The first breeze style I bought a few years ago was a miracle for my bad feet. Wonderful from the moment I put them on. They are awesome but worn out. I ordered a new pair, latest style several months ago and they hurt my feet. Can't even wear them enough to break them in and they're building callouses on the balls of my feet. I thought maybe I needed to try a wide width in the new style - way too big. Sure wish they'd offer the original style again! And Merrell, I don't need your customer service number unless there's a way to get a pair of the old comfy style.

Purchased a pair years ago which l loved. I wanted to replace them. I wear a size 9 narrow & previous pair fit well I bought a size 40. . This new pair were too big.

Just started wearing this new Encore Q2 Breeze and found it pinches my toes, rubs my little toe and the heal slips. I have tried giving it a break-in period but its going to Good-Will. I have worn Merrell encores almost exclusively for ten plus years purchasing 18 pairs of Encore Chills, Encore Breeze and hiking boots. This is the only pair that did NOT fit me well right out of the box . I have read many reviews of the various generations of Encore Breeze even going back to reviews available online of one of the first Encore Breeze J 66414. I still have one of these in black still in use. This Breeze model is my favorite and I believe the favorite of true Encore Breeze 10 year fans. The mesh out of the box form fitted to each persons foot. What a great concept, like a custom glove fit. The rubber base is softer and more cushioning, than 'tis new stiff Encore Q2. It is very sad that the J66414 that so many of us loved is no longer available. As a fan I urge you to bring it back. Thank you

So sad! Not sure why Merrell decided to kill the most wonderful shoe they ever came out with. Was so eager to get my new shoes, and could not believe how horrible they fit now, and are as hard as wooden clogs, and the smell is just horrible. Sadly I have to return.

I'm 5'10" 130 and have always worn a 10 1/2 to 11. Got 101/2 and was 1 size to big. Also, I have worn this shoe for years and have loved the comfort and quality of this shoe. The construction of this shoe isn't the same. What a shame..... Also, I bought 2 pair of this shoe and both were the same.
