It was recommended to me by another nurse to try hiking shoes for work. Boy am I glad I tried these, less foot and back pain and I can Wear them night after night 13+ hours in my feet. Just bought 3 more pairs cuz I'm scared you will quit making them!

These were comfortable right out of the box. I love them! The first time I wore them was on uneven terrain for 4 miles, no blistering or rubbing, they fit like a glove and are true to size. The soles are extremely grippy and excellent for uphill climbs. No complaints!

This is my second pair of the Merrell MQM Flex. I do a lot of walking, on city streets and in the hills, and they are great. Comfortable out of the box. Good support, cushioning, and flexibility. I hope they keep making them.

Runs a bit large, but that is easily solvable by wearing thicker socks. These shoes have the comfort I love about merrells. I want to wear them all the time! Need to get a waterproof version for rainy fall days.

I have very high arches. Also, when my toes are restricted, they go numb. These shoes solve those problems. They have the right arch support for me, a wide toe box, and reinforcement on all the places I typically burn holes through quickly. They have held up well for hours at the gym, hiking, and walking around the city. I highly recommend. I purchased another pair because I like them so much.

I absolutely love this shoe. Walked 3.5 miles first time I wore them, and continued to wear them for 10 hours. This morning I got up and could actually walk around virtually pain free. I had bought and returned 4 pairs of different brands before this shoe! Finally I have hit the jackpot! Thank you, Merrell!

Last year I wore this shoe climbing the Skyline Trail on Mt Rainier. The way the shoes gives on all kinds of surfaces is perfect. I also used it when hiking the Chinook Pass. This year I took this shoe to Glacier National park to do the Highline Trail and St Mary's Trail in Montana and the Tolmie Peak Lookout trail in Washington. PERFECT PERFORMANCE!

I tried on many pairs of hiking shoes and these were the winner. They were comfortable, kept my heel in place and enough room in the toe box for my toes and bunion. I did switch out the insole for my own arch support.

So comfortable right out of the box. Not for narrow feet. The fit is a bit larger than I expect from merrell which I think runs small orntruebto size. There are just the tiniest bit big on me so I make sure to wear thicker socks with them. But I love them sooo much. Soooo comfy and look great, too. I don't want to take them off! Order your reg size or a half size down. Do not order up!

these are seriously, excellent shoes. i hav horrifically painful feet from many causes. (fibromyalgia, fallen arches, morton's neuroma & more) the only thing these shoes dont hav is a superior insole. so get urself some 'powerstep' insoles from amazon & u'l b able 2 walk. if i can do it w/broken feet & a fractured/non-union knee, then any1 can

I love these! I purchased my usual size 8 but then wondered if the 8.5 would work better with socks. Nope my true size 8 is the one. I’ve worn them all day today with no breaking in. They are comfortable, stable with good arch support. They are just what I’ve been looking for

I bought these shoes for hiking in the Sierra Nevada. I love them so much! Traction, even in misty clouds on wet rocks, was comparable to my heavier hiking boots. Light weight made for less foot fatigue, but stable enough for hiking over boulders and light scree. Fit was great and consistent with my other Merrells and ready to go right out of the box! So happy to have these comfy, amazing shoes. Buying another pair today!

Shoes fit well! I thought one of my heals was slipping a bit however, I adjusted the laces and now there is no problem at all. Very comfortable fit. Color is stylish. The toe box has just the right amount of room. The tongue has not slipped at all. No breaking in necessary for me! I do not feel stone or other debris as I walk. Good traction going up hill and down. I think this is a near perfect shoe! If I had to change anything, I'd like the shoe to be a little lighter in weight. Zappos writes that they weigh 10oz but other sites say 9.5oz. I like my shoes to be a bit lighter and I have other pairs of Merrell shoes that clock in at 7oz.

I work in a hospital 10hrs a day on concrete. These shoes may not be meant for that but work great! They have really good support and are a lot lighter than I expected. I have a lot of coworkers interested in these now!

I've have many foot problems and this is the very best shoe for me. The high arch gives me the support that I need. The overall fit of the shoe is terrific. As soon as I put the shoes on, my feet are happy. I can wear these walking or hiking or just working around the house for many hours. I only wish they had better color choices - colors that are more neutral.
