Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe. I ordered the 4E which seemed to be wide enough but, when I tried to try the shoe on, the bridge (where the tongue of the shoe begins at the toebox) was so short that I couldn't even get my foot IN the shoe. It looks at though the shoe was made with regular foot measurements in that area and then just put on a wide shoe bottom. They did not allow for a bigger (fatter) foot's bridge. Phooey.

I’m glad I ordered a half size larger. I have a clunky orthotic to insert into the shoe and I needed that extra half size. I like the Velcro closure as I have a back problem and it’s easier for me to get these on and off. My podiatrist told me to get a stability issue. I had three other brands home to try and none of them were very comfortable. I saw the shoe and Zappos and thought I would give them a try. I took them to my podiatrist to take a look and she said stability was definitely good. The price was half of all the others I tried I would recommend the shoe

I bought these for a friend who recently had foot surgery and has been dealing with swelling. I actually tried two sizes in three different widths and none worked. She has a high arch and that caused pressure on her instep at the top of the shoe regardless the looseness of the velcro strap. We ended up going with the Propet Cronus. The wide opening, plus the stretch of the material has relieved the pressure on her instep. Propet calls it a shoe but is more like an adjustable slipper. In any case, wearer says it's comfortable.

I have a high arch so I had to buy a different insert for the shoe. They are much better with the extra insert and super cute. They have NO arch support, but new insert rectified that. Very satisfied with m y purchase.

These look so cool. Very hip and modern style. Sadly I had to return b/c my tried-and-true size in athletic shoes, 8.5 AA, was too wide in the heel. With the Velcro strap, I could not make it tight enough to stop the slipping. I considered going down to an 8, but I really like having that 'half thumb' of room at the toe, to account for swelling when you're exercising. If you don't have as narrow of a heel, you'll be fine in these. The toe is kind of pointy-ish, which contributes to the great look, but if your feet aren't pointy like mine, you might not have enough toe wiggle room. The soles were grippy and I felt very stable. I'm super bummed!

Toe box way to narrow. This appears to be true of all Propet shoes. The shoe is wide enough until the end of toe and it narrows significantly. Will not buy this brand again.

I have big feet and high arch. I was afraid to order these based on other reviews. But I have no issues. Sale price makes this shoe a great bargain.

I was barely able to put my foot in the sneaker. It ran way small and narrow.

Very comfortable and sporty looking. I took a chance on these walking shoes in 8.5 Narrow for extra walking toe space, and all around foot support, since I've never ordered narrow or that big before but someone told me walking shoes should be 1/2 size longer. I already knew Propet funs a hair narrow and long in a good way for me. Fit: I would be a 7.5M in summer shoes, own 2 pairs of Propet 8M snow boots (w thick socks) which I adore. I find most of the other name brand "comfortable shoes" in M width are all made too wide and too toe-short for me. These narrow fit me perfectly straight out of the box because the velcro is adjustable to accomodate my just-a-hair wider than narrow foot (ie classic Propet slightly narrow width if that makes sense) and somehow the way the velcro wraps, it acts like an arch support. I hope this helps my foot-pain sisters! I will order more for sure.

These sneakers fit amazingly! They have a great arch and if you walk a ton, your feet still feel great. They aren't the best looking, but such a great price and fit, I didn't care!

These shoes are cute, comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. I put a SAS arch support in them as I have a very high arch. They are perfect for me now.

Best sneakers for avid walker! Well made and fabulous fit! They don’t look super attractive, but with a fit like this, who cares!

I LOVE THESE SHOES!!! Comfort and the right size, as lives are not the same, so goes the same about bodies and that includes the feet.

I really liked this shoe. I ordered my normal size a 7N, unfortunately the heal wasn't narrow enough. The velcro closure was a real plus.

Loved the design of the shoe, unfortunately the strap is not long enough to go over bridge of foot. Needs to be longer for the wider fit. Not sure ordering the wider shoe will make the difference according to the review. Very disappointing.

I have swollen feet so I ordered a 4E width however, when I received the sneakers the instead was so tight I could not get my foot into the sneaker. The instep is narrow and hard, no soft to mold to your foot.

This shoe is comfortable, has great stability and is easy on and off. It is just what I wanted for walking my dog.

I love these shoes. Truly one of the most comfortable pairs I have owned. The do feel very roomy in the toes...almost too roomy. Next time will probably order the less wide width. Love the look and feel of these shoes!!

Perfect for my elderly mom whose famously narrow feet are swollen due to being in a wheelchair much of the time. The nurses, my mom, and I are all fans of the shoes' easy Velcro close, and the 9.5 M (same as her usual size, just wider) fits perfectly. The shoes look a little large / clunky out of the box, but not once she has them on. The stability sole does its job. Great brand, high-quality, could not be more pleased.

I originally purchased these shoes for my 94-year-old friend. They worked so well for her that when my 93-year-old aunt needed new shoes I immediately thought about the Propet Stability X Strap shoes. She loves them and the fit is perfect. They are very light weight which is important for the elderly who are struggling to ambulate.

These fit me perfectly. They are comfortable and help me walk with stability.

I have RA in my feet. I thought the soft upper shoe would be the answer, especially with the straps that I could adjust. But the firm piece over the top middle of the foot really pinched even in the very wide size I ordered. The Propet Travlebound are so much more comfortable for that reason. I will order more of them.

This looks like a nice shoe, well-made, but not as wide as hoped for. Also felt smaller overall length and width.
