They felt very supportive but one really hurt my bunion

I love the colors and the fit. Unfortunately these shoes have a quality issue. Unlike every other pair of sneakers I've ever owned, the seams of the sections that have the lace holes in them haven't been sewn down - you can see the white padded lining to either side of the tongue. Strands of the padding occasionally poke thru and I trim them off. I'd return these but I'm too lazy

At first I ordered an 8 which I normally wear. I needed to exchange for 8.5. I was replacing an old pair of sauconys I had for 4 years just to kick around in. I loved those. These shoes are not comfortable at all! The tongue is so wide it bunches up and rubs the top of my foot. The left shoe I can get to be comfortable if I flatten it out just so before I place my foot in. The right foot is never quite right. I’m thinking about it constantly when I’m wearing it. Because I was so focused on my toes not rubbing with the bigger size, I didn’t realize the tongue issue until it was too late to return. Also bought at end of summer so I really didn’t start wearing them frequently until October. I’m so annoyed with them. I’m going to contact new balance directly.

Don't know what's happening to New Balance. I have tried six or seven different items, all narrower and shorter than they used to be. They look great, so styling is fine but the toebox is so narrow and the fit is awful. Shame.

I really wanted to love these but they just weren't comfortable for me. I am an 8.5W but I first bought the 9W after reading that they run a little small. They were too big, so I sent them back and got the 8.5W. They initially felt good and cushy so I wore them to work for a day. I am on my feet all day and constantly moving. Unfortunately, my feet ached so bad and my pinky toes were so red from the narrow toebox that I had to send them back. One of the worst parts of these shoes is that feet sweat shows through very obviously because of the swede-like material. They are so darn cute but just not right for me.

always love New Balance Classics. However, either my feet grew wider or the width of shoes changed through the years. Returned it and need to find other New Balance shoes that offers wide version.

New Balance quality has gone downhill. Shoes feel so cheap, like hard cardboard. Nice green color though.

I own a magenta pair of 574 v2 and they are perfect and super comfy. They don't have that one available anymore so I purchased 2 pairs of these in different colors thinking they'd be exactly the same fit. Absolutely Awful. I bought Wide and they are so narrow and uncomfortable. I cannot express how incredibly disappointed I am.

What happened to my beloved 574’s?! Sizing is way off now (which I’ve seen other reviewers note in a variety of NB styles). I’ve always been a 7.5 in these, ordered the same size of a fresh pair for vacation thinking no worries. Arrived the day before our vacation and absolutely way too small! Headed to the mall last minute to try an 8 in a different color...too big and weird insole fit. Should have bought multiple pairs last time around :(

This shoe didn't fit like a New Balance 7 1/2 Wide. I don't want to take a chance that they will "break in" because I fear I'll be stuck with them. So I'm returning them. Thanks, Zappos--you are really helpful!

Sorry to say I had to return these NB 574......they are not made like the 574 several years back....there is no arch support......

Tried a couple sizes because they seem to run small. In the small size they were cute, in the larger size they made my feel look like hobbit feet. Also weren't as comfortable as I was expecting them to be.

These shoes are so cute but did not work out for me. I usually wear w 9.5 but in these shoes that size was too big. I got a 9 and that was a bit too small. Both sizes hurt my feet A LOT.

They were a lil to large

574V2 has been my go-to sneakers for some time. With most of my other shoes I wear size 5; 574V2 has been consistently one full size smaller, so I get these in size 6. These are my "lifestyle" sneakers (traveling, sightseeing, etc.) and I don't run in them, and the fit is very good for that purpose. I have tried other brands and styles, but my feet and lower back are very happy with New Balance 574V2, and I will buy these as long as they are available.
