Very cute but straps felt too snug, and soles offered no support. I felt like I craved my danskos!

Definitely go up a size. I bought these for my daughter who is normally a 9. Returned for a 9 1/2 and still too small. Returned for a 10. She loves them and they are really cute. Need to be "broken in" though - straps rub a little at first.

Stylish and comfortable...Only problem I had was what color to choose! Decided on the GOLD.

Beautiful looking, & well made but too tight around the toe area. I purchased my usual size.

These sandals are cute and on trend. They provide a lot of lateral support with the snug (very snug) elastic straps and heel covering holding your feet in place. The strap across the toe is not a problem for me but if your feet are even a little bit on the wide side, you might find the ankle strapping way too tight. I am usually a perfect 8 but based on reviews I ordered 8 1/2 and the length is just right.

These sandals are super cute & comfy from what I can tell. I am returning though because they are really small. I wear a 9 1/2, that is what I ordered and I feel like I may need a 10 1/2 in order for this style to fit.

I ordered these along with a couple of others to try for summer wear. I love Sorel winter boots awesome so I thought this would be good as well. It looks great but the front strap being inflexible/leather and tight does not work for me. I have medium width feet and not wide; even for me these didn't work. Also, it feels loose in the heel. They go back and my search continues.

So so comfortable. True to size. The style didn’t look good on my long narrow feet though. I was so disappointed because they are amazingly comfy! Highly recommend.

This sandal is really cute and flattering on the foot. The elastic bands are comfortable and keep the shoe in place, although they do make it difficult to get the sandal on without a heel zipper. They run small! After reading the reviews I ordered a half and full size bigger than normal in the silver & black. Strangely, I needed a full size larger than normal in the black, but the silver's toe band was too wide for me in that size, so I only went up a half size in silver. It's been too cold to wear them yet, but they seemed comfy in the short time I wore them in the house.

I love the look of these sandals. I love the color. I have a very wide foot, though, and even though I wear a 9 and bought a 9.5 to accommodate the width, they are still too narrow. Unfortunately, the strap across the toes does not have any stretch, so they are very tight and uncomfortable to wear very long. But nothing wrong with the shoe.....just my foot!

Sorrel sizing is all over the place. I have 5 pairs of Sorrels. Fashion boots and sandals, ranging in size 8 to 9.5. These sandals ran small, I purchased the 9.5. The elastic in the strap help the larger size fit my low volume (skinny) feet.

I ordered a size 10 which is what I normally wear and it felt too tight across the ball of my foot. I ordered a 10.5 and it felt exactly the same as the size 10. I compared the two sizes and there was very little difference so I ordered a size 11. Size 11 was noticeably too big. I returned the 11's and the 10's. I still have the 10.5's and really want these shoes to work. I plan to wear them around the house and hope that the leather band will "give" a little bit and loosen up. If not, I will return these.

Sorel’s sizing is baffling this year. I got this Ella sandal in an 8 last year. The leather straps give me blisters on a longer walk and the straps are pretty tight. But the sole is so comfy that I can’t give up on these. So I tried an 8.5 this week. They were the exact same size as the 8’s. Both the box and label on the shoes themselves said 8.5. I either got a faulty pair or the half sizes on these are the same as whole sizes. Just received the 9’s from Zappos today—the absolute best at fast shipping—and they’re definitely bigger than the 8.5’s. A little big on me at this point but I’m keeping them. It was just too much hassle to try for another pair of 8.5’s to see if the small sizing was just a one-off. So I’d advise a half or even a whole size up these. The sole is amazing, otherwise I wouldn’t go through all this trouble.

Ugh, how much easier would life be if shoes were sized consistently? I am an 8, 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. I think I ordered all three sizes in this and the 8.5 was the best fit but the straps at the ankle were entirely too tight. I wanted to keep them but I feared they would not stretch out enough and so back they went. They are super cute in person though. For reference, I have average sized ankles and they left indentations on my feet and ankles. If I could have kept them a little longer I might have fallen in love but at my age, if I don't love it pretty much straight out of the box then back it goes.

I love the Sorel brand! I had to order a size up because the 6.5 felt too short and narrow. The 7's are still a little tight in the elastic but I'm hoping they'll stretch out. Still can't wear them past a work day since they're tight and I have skinny ankles. Liked them enough to keep them though.

Super cute sandals and are honestly really comfortable too. I have skinny ankles and the straps actually hold my foot in place. Here’s the weird thing about the sizing, they seem like they fit 1/2 size small. But both the 8 and 8.5 were exactly the same length, felt exactly the same on my foot. I normally always wear a size 8, but bought a couple sizes to try on thanks to Zappos awesome return policy and the reviews that these ran small. Ended up keeping the 8.5, because i really like them and they are just barely to small. Maybe Sorel mislabeled mine?

very nice shoe for walking. you will have to order a size up tho. if your feet swell, like mine tho...just move on to another shoe. I wish there was a little more room in the ankle strap. Not good for diabetic feet that swell with walking.

Very cute! I'm a big fan of the look and the elastic ankle straps look good and result in a nice fit. (I had ankle surgery a while back, so the squeeze-y fit feels nice/supportive.) These run small though. The width is more narrow than standard, especially at the widest part of the foot and also in the heel. I also felt the shoe was a little short overall, so sizing up a little bit might work best (if the narrow bit is okay for your foot). Really sad these didn't work for me!

Love the style and easy to slip on with the elastic bands. However, my toes were a bit too long on the foot bed, and I'm usually very true to size.

These are really cute and easy to get on despite my having a high arch. Elastic straps are stretchy but strong. I am usually a 7.5 or 8 and ordered these in 7.5. They are a little bit tight but I think they will stretch to perfect fit with wear. I think I should've ordered an 8 but like them enough that I don't want to go through exchanging them.

After finding the right size, I love these sandals! I normally wear an 8 and initially tried an 8.5. I have narrow feet and ankles, so the straps felt fine, but the length of the sole was too short. A 9 fit perfectly. The leather pieces are nice and soft, and the elastic bands are smooth and stretchy. I wore them for a day around the house, then took them out for a maiden voyage (five hours of walking!). They were very comfortable and don’t need much (if any) breaking in.

Such beautiful sandals, but sadly too tight. Felt like my feet couldn't breathe. Wish they fit better!

Cute shoe, but tight and constricted around the black elastic ankle...and I have thin ankles!!
