Very cute style - the heel to toe drop made my orthotic feel like the arch was in the wrong place. They run more narrow than other shoes - akin to say an asic kayano. Not as padded as I would have expected with such a thick sole. Was hoping for something with a little bounce akin to the latest and greatest foams in the running shoe world.

Thanks to Zappos great return policy I was able to get both an 8 1/2 and a nine. I kept the 8 1/2, although I feel that the toes are a little scrunched in any size. Not necessarily that it didn’t fit, just a narrow toebox.

These are true to running shoe size for me. I typically size up a half size in Brooke’s and Aisics. I wear an 8 in regular shoes and an 8.5 in running shoes. These seem to run wide up to mid arch but narrow in the toe box. However the stretch material around the ankle and the Velcro strap allows for a secure fit. The opening to the shoe is small. They would be easier to put the on if the loop at the heel was larger. I have skinny fingers (ring size 4.5) and can’t even get my finger through the loop. They are very supportive and super stylish so I am willing to overlook that.

Cute color and style. I wasn’t in love with how the tongue area came up higher over my ankles. I have skinny ankles and my legs look better when they aren’t being covered up, especially when wearing leggings or skinnies. I will be returning them.

Wanted a cool sneaker shoe for walking commute. Ordered 1/2 size down per other reviews. However, my recommendation is to stay true to your size on this one unless you have narrow feet. I don’t have wide feet but they are on the “full” side of medium if that makes sense. I’ll probably reorder these in 11 (my true size in closed toe shoes) at some point towards spring.

This shoe is unlike other Sorel boots - there is very little room in the toe. I ordered the same size I usually wear in Sorel Boots and was surprised that it was so tight. These are cute and look pretty cool.

I usually wear a 7-71/2 women shoe. I ordered the 71/2 and it was too small. Sized up to an 8 and fits better.

The shoe was on way too big, I liked everything else about it though.

The shoe feels comfortable but my toe is up close to the end. I bought the recommended size based on my typical size (the same; no size adjustment up or down). Given the soft nature of the shoe I think it will be fine. But want some experience with the shoe to confirm. A friend bought these shoes for a trip we did to Canada and loved them. I bought based on her experience.

Too narrow and strange Velcro

I bought these solely for aesthetics. They're not the most comfortable shoes. Fit true to size, very cute.

I had to send these back. I have a very narrow foot and even on the tightest it would go it was still extremely wide and too much room.

I ordered my normal size 12 without ever having worn Sorrel’s before. It’s a gorgeous red color and the style is super current, but be warned if you have narrow feet like mine. To my surprise, the fabric portion isn’t very stiff or heavy, which caused the shoe to buckle around the arch. When I tightened the Velcro, it looked even worse. Thicker socks didn’t help either, so unless you have “normal” feet, I wouldn’t recommend them. I’m so bummed, as I finally broke down and bought a pair after seeing the style all the time on Athleta. Tall girls want to look cool, too!
