The shoes are well made and the cushioning is great, but the arch support is not effective, being too close to the heel for my wife. Otherwise it's a nice pair of shoes if it fits you.

I knew when I first took them out of the box that I bought one too many pair of Hoka
Immediately knew the laces were cheap and wrong for the shoe...they would untie multiple times a day
Sure light and comfortable but if they don't want to stay on my feet I can make sure they don't and not buy

I wanted a shoe for walking and easy workout. It is light weight, but attracts moisture like a sponge. You cannot walk on rocks or the beach without catching stones in the bottom of the shoe. You need a screw driver to pry out stones. Looks great on paper, but real usage is poor

Not plush as advertised. Had much better Hoka shoes in the past which I could war all day.

Surprisingly disappointed with this “Elevon.” Worst tread pattern design I’ve ever seen (ok well since the 1980s I guess) in that part of the groove pattern PICKS UP GRAVEL. You read that right. If you occasionally run or walk on gravel, pieces will get stuck in the grooves and you’ll have to yank them out after clicking your way through a grocery tour floor after a run (for example). This is not a good shoe and I’m surprised it’s a HOKA.

Thought these would be more comfortable than my 1st. Pair of Hoku shoes (Cavu) according to description. But they are not. Tried them for a 2 days and did not like them so started to do return and it states shoes cannot have any signs of dirt or scuffs. It has no scuff but bottom of shoes do show little signs of dirt (not perfect white) so I could not return it according to customer service. So buyers beware! Only try them on a clean carpet?

This is strange since I have been wearing the exact same shoe for the past year. The new pair are narrower and a bit shorter even though it is the same size and model.
I'd also recommend:
I will only wear Hokas.

I really, really wanted to like these, but after struggling through some 2-3 milers I just couldn't. Nowhere near enough arch support and they felt flat to me. In Clifton 4's I was a 10, so first pair I bought of these was a 10. Waaaayy too snug on the top of my foot. Returned those and got the 10.5's which felt much better except for the flatness and lack of arch support. Going to try the Clifton 5's now. Love the Hoka brand, but this line just isn't for me.

The shoe felt a little bulkier than I was used to with a running shoe. It may have been an optical illusion due to the look of the sole, but I couldn't convince my mind otherwise.

Definitely not a "plush" shoe as described by HOKA.

Certainly not plush. VERY frustrating that EVERY shoe company changes a great shoe and somehow manages to simply mess it up. The Evelon was supposed to be an update for the Vanquish. It may looks similar, however it performs very differently - sincere disappointment.

Slick looking kicks, but responsive like being barefoot on concrete. What happened to the infamous plush Hoka feel? Feels like you are running on a piece of plastic. Back to the late and will be dearly missed Clifton 3s while I can find them.

I had some positive expectations that the new Elevon shoe would give me a substitute for the Valor which HOKA stopped making. I tried one on the other day and found that even though it is rated as plush it is clearly not in the same class as the Valor. I will wait until and if HOKA makes a real replacement for the Valor for me to purchase another expensive, but worth it. shoe from HOKA.

I ran on the Elevon today expecting the cushioning feel I usually get with a Hoka that has been rated "Plush". I was sorely disappointed with how stiff and hard the sole was. As a 225 pound triathlete who has sworn by Hoka's since I found them 6 years ago, this shoe is a far cry from the Stinson, Stinson ATR and Bondi which I have worn throughout the years and are plush. I gave it a two just because I like Hoka overall.

I bought these shoes to replace my Brooks Adrenaline GTS's. I had heard how comfortable these shoes were, but they killed my feet. After just 1 mile my feet were sorer than they had ever been. After 2 weeks they didn't get any better and I returned them. The return was very easy and customer service was very helpful.

I ordered a pair of Hoka shoes online. Aside from one of the shoes having a hard plastic piece goudging me from inside the shoes, the product was fine. I returned the shoes (due to the shoes being too narrow). The pathetic customer service (during the return process) made the transaction a complete nightmare.
The smug and indignant customer service was both surprising and unpleasant. Run from this brand.

Disappointed by the Hoka advertising. This is not a highly cushioned shoe. The toe box is narrow compared to Clifton's.

This is a horrible shoe, a complete waste of money and I can't even return it or exchange it because I have worn the shoes.
I really don't feel the plush of the shoe.
Disappointed, ,,,, I will be staying with the Bondi 6

First time trying Hoka. These shoes look good but are awful for walking all day-not intended for hospital wear. They hurt my feet and provide very little support. Reviews say "like walking on clouds" for plush support which is the best but they are complete opposite. No more Hokas for me. Paid a lot for a low quality shoe.

The shoe is not comfortable enough for its price range. Customer service was very open about this issue but didn't care enough to replace the shoe with something better.

if this is meant to be the successor and heir apparent to the phenomenal Vanquish line, this is a total miss. I don't understand why companies want to fix something these days when it aint broken? So you ended the Vanquish line for some inexplicable reason only to replace it with this complete failure of a product. I did 5 miles in it and my whole body hurt. Plush cushioning? Are you serious? NONE.

I am 61 and run a 5K every morning in So. Cal. & only use Hoka products...These were only 1 of two of their line up that gave me immediate problems. Knee & ankle pain that may have subsided with more break in but never need "break in" time with Bondi or Gaviota models. Bought them for the better look and that is probably the only good thing about this model. Replaced with another pair of Bondi 6 = Immediate relief.
