I have gone through 4 pair of the Gavoita's in training and used an older model Clayton for racing. I bought the Arahia 2 weeks ago and love them for my faster runs. They do squeeze the toe box a little more than my other Hokas so I could only give them a 4 star rating.

I love these shoes to death. My foot feels stable and controlled throughout my whole run. They keep me going on my long runs and keep me feeling stylish. The style of the shoes is probably the best part. The shoes do eventually get pretty hot after Half an hour of running. They could use a little more breath ability.

I am disappointed that Hoka doesn’t offer a 4E to my knowledge. This is my first pair of Hoka shoes. I normally stick with Brooks.

I had a old pair of Cliftons I wore out. Love the wed site and fitting guide. really helped for the overall sizing and needs for pronation. Been comfortable and have put about 81 miles on them in the first few weeks. Durable, breathable, and lightweight!

7 days of using these shoes so far not too bad. They are super light weight ... I weight them on a digital scale they are 0.6 ounces each.. not sure why they say they weight more on the description. Cushion is good, first time you wear them you feel a little taller. Had to get use to the middle area how it feels kind of like a ball at first. These shoes at first make me run on my toes more which I don't mind but I am more of a heel striker. Towards the end of my runs my legs and feet do not feel all tired. It feels like the longer I run the more comfortable the run goes. I did get a few blisters on the inner sides of my feet. After 7 days I would expect not to get no more but I still have gotten one on my left foot. I am guessing my feet go inwards so that is causing.

I have fairly flat feet and need a stability shoe to avoid various leg and foot problems. The Arahi 2 is the most comdortable, protective, and responsive shoes I've ever used (and I've used many over the years). I love wearing them. But I've experienced a serious durability problem. The hard rubber strips in the outer heel area have worn down quickly and have come unglued. This problem happened first after 88 miles running mostly on normal asphalt roads. I returned them to the local sports store where I got them. The sales person agreed that that level of wear was unacceptable, and they replaced my pair with a new pair. But now with the new pair I am experiencing the same problem after about 90 miles. I won't return these since between the two pairs I expect to get about 250-300 miles of use. But I will be reluctant to buy a new pair unless the durability problem is fixed in a new release.
I should say that I am a 5'8"", 130 lb male. My shoes (other brands) have usually about 350-400 miles.

Nice shoe! Went too big. Sent them back. Thanks Zappos for a great return policy!

I've been in every Rendition of the Clifton and decided to try something new this time. While proving great stability and comfort, they just didn't have enough cushion for me. I decided to return and go with the Clufton 4.

I have done a couple of short runs and long runs, each, with this shoe. The light weight feel is very nice, with the soft sole and material so this makes for a cushioned run.

Plenty of room in the front end, probably good for most people. I like a snug shoe, so it could be a little tighter for me. This shoe beats the competition in the weight category, and I hope that Hoka continues to shave more weight. Weight and cushioning are why I buy Hoka One One's. Keep up the good work.

When the shoe arrived, it was pretty snug. So snug, that I contemplated returning it for a bigger size and I left it in the box for a week. Then I decided maybe they just needed to be "broken in" somewhat. I started wearing them and I walk a minimum 11,000 steps a day and they feel great. Still a little snug, but the feel is what you expect from Hoka - fantastic and airy. I hope they last longer than my last pair of Hokas.

Love your sneaker, however one big problem, when you walk inside a sound (like a frog) emits, which is very annoying.

I've ordered and worn many other Hoka styles and the this is the only one that pushes and pinches the side of my foot at mid-foot. Very uncomfortable. I usually wear a regular width, but would order a wide were I to ever try this style again.

This was my first experience with the Hoka brand after I'd heard so many good things about them. My first run was just a little over 4 miles and was at a moderate pace. The shoes felt good and I liked the way they felt on the pavement. The next morning I woke up with a bruised toenail, which I've never experienced with any other shoe. So, I took them back to the shoe store where I bought them and exchanged them for some new Brooks. I hate that these shoes didn't work out, maybe one day I'll try a Hoka shoe again.

I have two pairs of the original Arahi. Most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet. I am going to Disney World in June and wanted a new pair as I will be doing quite a bit of walking. I purchased a pair of the Arahi 2. They are not nearly as comfortable as the originals. Very stiff!

I ran about 1300 miles between 3 pairs of the first Arahi. I was very excited about the mesh upper in the Arahi 2 and ordered the day they came out. Unfortunately, after about 100 miles I've noticed the tongue is so short that it fails to properly cushion the top of my feet. This has cause pain and swelling in my feet that I've never had before. I switched back to my old pair of Arahi 1's, and the issue resolved almost immediately. I noticed this new version has 6 shoe string eyelets, and the old one has 5. I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I think it causes the shoe to lose flexibility and squeeze my foot too much.

I really want to love these shoes but they rub the front part of my foot to blisters. I've tried different socks and tying them differently but it doesn't work I may have to go back to Brooks. I'll keep trying and update my review.

This is the 2nd pair of Arahi 2 I have worn. I really like the feel of the shoe, but already this pair is starting to rip near the toe (along the inside sole/fabric seam, near ball of foot).
I'd like to continue using this shoe, but it needs to last more than 50mi before falling apart. Do you have suggestions?

Shoe fit well, but many of the Hoka models have a slanted up rear heel...if you are a heel striker, probably good, but I find it pushes me off balance and doesn't provide the cushioning I need at the back of my foot. Many people swear by Hokas but they just don't seem to work for me.

The shoe construction quality was very poor. The uppers of both shoes started to separate from the sole and the tread started pealing off after less than 150 miles. The shoes were comfortable until that point but other equally comfortable shoes last at least twice as long.

THIS IS MY SECOND PAIR OF HOKA. THE FIRST WAS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME. THE SECOND PAIR IS BEING RETURNED BECAUSE IT IS TOO NARROW.

I typically run 40 to 50 miles a week... when I first ran this shoe for 8 mile, it's stiff to the point that it gave my foot blister. I don't know perhaps it need more break in... but overall I'm just disappointed.

I wish they would have left this shoe alone. Arahi 2 is cut wider than the Arahi 2 and the tongue is cut short. If you like to use the top eyelets don't buy this shoe. The Arahi 1 is a much better shoe.
