I bought a pair after reading a review a writer posted regarding their battle with Plantar Fasciiatis. I have the same problem on my left foot and a knee injury on my right side. I need support for my active life. I love that these shoes wrap around my feet offering great support. My feet do not slide around in the shoes. The shoes are snug and I like that. I wear a size 7 in ASICS and the fit perfect. If you are concerned that they may be snug, go up .5 a size.

No break in period needed. Loved these from the moment I put them on

I bought this shoes for my wife. She's a nurse and she needs soft and comfortable shoes.

I started wearing the shoes immediately without any need to break them in!!

I would like to start off by saying I am NOT a runner. However, I am a school teacher and am on my feet ALL day! About 6 months ago I began having trouble with my left hip. Pain radiating down my leg to the point that I was limping. We tried exercises, hot / cold packs and finally a shot. I then developed plantar fasciitis in my left foot, probably from limping so much because of my hip. Again, exercises, hot / cold packs and massages for my foot. Next, came tendon stress on the top of my left foot which caused hot, shooting pains, constant dull ache and swelling, sometimes from my toes to about halfway up my calf. I was then x-rayed to see if I had somehow obtained a fracture. I had not. I wore a walking boot for 3 weeks to try and stabilize the tendon and take some stress off while it hopefully healed. It didn't work. I was finally sent to Dr. Penny Lawin in Jackson, MS. She gave me a list of shoes that some of her patients recommend due to the success they achieved. The Asics Gel Nimbus 20 was on that list. I tried them on in the store and immediately loved the way they felt on my foot, very snug and secure. I have only been wearing them about a week and my pain, from my toes all the way up to my hip, is almost COMPLETELY GONE! I am telling everyone about these shoes! You don't have to be a runner to receive the benefits. Thank you for a quality product that delivers what it says! I will definitely purchase these again!

My third pair, in 4 months. love the fit and feel!!! waiting for an all orange pair!!! I need to be one of the first to receive them if they ever come out!!!

Similar to how the 18's feel. Much better than 19.

As usual I'm thrilled with my Asics. They are extremely confortable and the color selection with Nimbus 20 was beyond belief!!!

I bought this shoe about a month ago and absolutely love it! The lightness and support are fantastic. I honestly feel like I'm running on air! I would highly recommend this shoe to any runner!

Gel Nimbus are the only shoe I can wear and they don't hurt my feet. I ordered in Wide cause of reviews saying they was too narrow. I'm glad I did wide.
