Great arch support and comfy right out of the box. The backs of my heels rub a bit, but I reckon as the shoes break in more, it won’t be as stiff. I especially like the minimal profile. I have big feet and these are cute not reminiscent of a clown shoe.

I just got these, but they feel like they’ll work out. I normally wear a size 9 and they feel true to size. The insoles has great arch support. I like that they’re canvas and breathable for the summer. They do have a warranty from the company as well from manufacturer defects.

Very cute, but REALLY uncomfortable. They’re kind of stiff, and they’re tearing up my heals, but they offer great arch support. I’m keeping them because they’ll be good for work. I should mention that I have wide feet and high arches and these easily fit.

I bought the Plim Soul and the Moc Star at the same time. At first I couldn't figure out what was different about them until I tried them on and realized the Moc Star is lower around the ankle, which I liked. But the Plim Soul has a smooth toe, which I liked better than the Moc Star's extra toe stitching. I wear a 9 - 10 depending on brand (9 in Chaco's, 10 in Asics), so I read the reviews and got a 10 in both of these. I also have a bunion so some shoes I need the larger size for comfort. I wore both pairs around the house a bit and decided that while they are super cute, they are too clunky for me. and made my feet look huge. They are quite stiff (no-show socks made them feel a little better) and I don't think they will soften up over time. They are also not meant to be machine washable and I'm not confident in my ability to keep them clean! Both styles are attractive, but I'm returning both pairs and am trying out a white sneaker that is softer and machine washable from a brand not available on Zappos.

I absolutely loved the look of this shoe but ugh, the heel is incredibly stiff. They also made a god awful noise with every step, squeak squeak squeak. No idea how anyone can walk in these on a smooth floor, it was extremely annoying.

I love these shoes! They are so cute and comfy and have great arch support. I got the geo print and have received many compliments already.

I got a size 10.5, I usually wear a size 10 or a 10 wide, because i have high insteps/arches and slightly wide forefeet. I used to wear a lot of converse but find that they are too tight across the top of my foot. That said, I LOVE these, they are so supportive and comfortable. They're also fairly lightweight and flexible which I find a lot of comfort sneakers lack. I walked all over Europe in them, and typically have finnicky feet. The only downside is they retain heat after a few hours of wear, but I think that's most "fashion" sneakers.

This shoe is like the holy grail of all shoes- it checks all the boxes. Cute and stylish with amazing arch support. I ordered a half size up and the fit is absolutely perfect. Just for note, I have a narrow heel and need a wide toe box. I can’t wait to add more colors to my wardrobe in time. Worth every penny.

Love them! I’ve always liked the look of Converse or Keds but I need structure and arch support. The footbed in these shoes is removable in case I want to use an orthotic with them, but the arch support is so great I don’t know if I’ll need to. The fit was true to size for me - I have a narrow heel and wide forefoot and my heel stays in place with plenty of room to wiggle my toes. The fabric is a little bit stiff but it feels like it will break in easily.

Got these and put them on right away. The canvas was a little stiff but walking around the house for a bit loosened them up. The arch support is great I have plantar fascia and have turned to Taos to upgrade my shoes so my feet don’t hurt. These did not disappoint and they have good cushioning from the thicker soles. They are true black in color. I ordered a size 10 which is my normal size and they fit perfectly. Love them!

I ordered the Star and the Plim to compare. Both were comfortable and fit the same (order 1/2 size up). Aesthetically, the Star reminds me of Keds, and the Plim reminds me of Vans. The Star is narrow and pointy-toed, with a thin sole tread that is shaped like the outline of your foot. The Plim is more substantial, with a rounded toe and a sole tread under the entire shoe. I like the Plim better, but ymmv. Both seem better quality than their Keds/Vans counterparts.

I really loved this shoe, the look, style and the color. I ordered my regular size (8) and an 8 1/2 just to make sure I got a good fit. The half size larger was definitely what I needed; however, my feet are so problematic that even the half size larger caused rubs (wearing around the house for an hour or so). I was very disappointed and I don't blame the shoe. I have unusually difficult feet.

Having plantar fasciitis, I have ortho inserts. With these I don’t need them. My doctor told me when I buy shoes to have a stiff backing, thick sole, arch support and stiff support by the toes. I am a sandal person and after 52 years, having this issue, I found a pair of shoes I can wear with just about anything! Beachtowngirl68!

I usually wear a size 7 but after reading several reviews on many different sites and this site I decided to go up half a size to a 7.5. Glad I did, as they fit perfectly. These shoes are very comfortable. I have been watching and waiting for 6 months for these shoes to go on sale and when I saw that they were finally on sale, I decided to take a chance on them. Glad that I didn’t listen to any of the negative reviews I read because, for me, they fit great.

Absolutely adore these! The style works for both a trendier, urban look, and a more casual suburban one. I'm always looking for good options to walk around cities when I travel (especially in Europe and Asia) without looking like the dreaded tourist. I spend a lot of time in ballet flats, but about a year ago started looking for sneakers that didn't look like my athletic shoes or hiking shoes yet had a bit more protection than a ballet flat. I eventually found the Ecco Soft 7 in blue and absolutely love it. I thought I'd simply get a pair of the same in white, but these caught my attention on the Zappos recommended options so I ordered a pair to try. These won by a landslide in a comparison! Even though I like the Eccos I already have quite a bit, what I like about them in the blue leather I did not like in white leather. They're a bit narrow and stiff, meanwhile the Taos have a bit of a bigger toe box and the canvas makes them instantly more mobile and flexible. The Eccos can also rub on my arch (and I have an annoyingly normal arch that can be a nightmare to fit sometimes during the "great arch support" trends.) The Taos Plim Souls instead are nice and neutral, don't rub on the heel (which is critical since I rarely wear socks for a more streamlined look) and don't look like my grandmother's sneakers. I followed the advice of others and ordered a half size up from my normal size, so that was the perfect decision. I suspect the white canvas will definitely attract dirt and I like the look of the bright white with my outfits, so I plan to simply spray them down with Scotch guard the way I do my sofa before wearing again.

Pleasantly surprised with the fit and the arch support. Unlike other brands of canvas shoes, there is actually an arch support. I ordered another pair in gray.

I LOVE the arch support in these shoes. I was a little worried while reading the other reviews, but I appreciate the support in these sneakers. They felt like they weren’t going to go on my feet but after I loosened the opening a bit they fit wonderfully. The width is amazing. I would say I have a wider toe base-area than the average person which usually leads to my foot not fitting right in sneakers. However, these shoes truly fit my foot. Without fuss. AH-MAZING. ??. I thought the cost was a bit high, but because of the arch support (so difficult to find in sneakers) it’s worth it. If you’re on your feet a lot throughout the day I think these sneakers would be a a good buy. The canvas fabric makes them quite susceptible to stains and scuffs, which is frustrating since they’re white. I’m still working on finding a solution to keeping white shoes white! Let me know if you have any tricks! ? I wish they made these in a white leather material. I think it would help deter scuffs.

LOVE this shoe! I'm recovering from a broken ankle, and needed a lace up shoe that could accommodate my normal, happy foot and my bum, swollen nasty foot that is a full half size larger than normal. I ordered several pairs of sneakers/lace up shoes from Zappos, and this was the one! As soon as I tried it on, everything worked. It fit both my normal and swollen feet, was extremely comfy, had great arch support, and looked cool. The other 3 shoes I ordered were instant no goes. I think the other shoes ( Contu superga, taos Star, Teva Arrowood ) were fine on my normal foot, but not the cranky, bad foot. This one is wide and comfy in the toe box. I usually am a size 8, and after reading reviews, I ordered the 8.5 which fits perfectly. I will be able to wear this shoe once the swelling goes down on the bad foot. Love this shoe! And... it is attractive. I ordered the grey, and the laces are the same color as the shoe, which I like. Good looks, kind to my feet, my shoe dating is done! I'm committed...

This is the canvass shoe for me! I've tried converse, rocket dog, etc. and just always wanted more support/cushion. It's true that this shoes removable insole is pretty intense, but my personal insoles fit great - so I'm greatful for the option to customize.

I LOVE these shoes! I have planted fasciaties so I have a lot of foot pain. I can walk all day in these shoes with no pain!

After reading other reviews, I ordered these a half size up to allow for extra length. I have narrow feet but ordered the medium, hope that socks would take up the extra width. The shoes still slipped on my heels. They are very well made and super stylish. Just a little bit heavy. Heel needs to come up a little further with possibly a tab to help hold them on. Sadly returning

Cute shoe, but a 9 was too small. I normally wear an 8.5, and a 9 if I want to wear socks in the shoe. These are too small for my foot..

I really wanted to love these shoes but even the 8 1/2 W cut across my outside toes. The color was not as bright as anticipated. I’ll keep looking to find a sneaker with a naturally wide toe box.

Good fit overall - definitely the best feel of the Taos sneakers I tried (Star, Moc Star, etc). The Moc Star and Star are both VERY THIN under the ball of the foot. Amazing arch support, superior heel cup, and then it's odd that all the padding and support goes away under the ball of the foot - making walking on pavement or hard floors a bit uncomfortable if you like a little padding there. The Taos Plimsoul is the only one I tried that has any padding in the front foot, so I kept this one. I went a half size up as reviewers suggested which means that the toe box is a bit too big but the laces tighten everything down just fine. Supportive and comfortable enough for 6 miles of biking and two playground excursions. Not a running shoe, but they do the job and look stylish. Just wish they came in wide!
