I didn't expect to buy these shoes, but my feet wanted to as soon as I slipped one on. I was shopping for an Altra shoe for their zero drop and wide toe box. I liked the Altra models I tried on, but I chose the Brooks pure flow because they felt so right, light and agile. Would love to try it in a zero drop. But I am very pleased with my purchase.

I miss the lower, more minimalist-style shoes that this line used to be (early PureConnects and PureGrits were awesome!). Would also like to see a wider toe box. I've been wearing Brooks for 15 years, through various models, and do believe the PureFlow 7 is a decent shoe. (I'm actually my second pair!)

Love the redesign of the lip over the PureFlow 6, but the design of the sole still allows for rocks to easily wedge their way into the shoe until you stop to take them out. Generally, anything from Brooks is still a great bet, and these shoes aren't any exception!

A fine shoe. But I miss the PureCadence which was a better fit for me.

I love this shoe. There is plenty of space in the shoe, specifically in the toe box. I run 1/2 of my miles on trails and this shoe is great on the easy and moderate level trails along with the road. I have been using the shoe for about 7 years and will not be changing.

Nice shoes! I love how breathable and light they are while still offering the support you need. You can do whatever kind of training in them, whether it's faster or slower. These are really one-of-a-kind shoes. They do give me a blister on my left middle toe pretty often, even after they've been broken in, and they also catch pebbles in the soles. Other than that, I like them a lot!

Feels quite tight along the middle of my foot. Does not offer much cushion when worn. Will not purchase again.

I loved past iterations of pure flows but new versions seems of lower quality.

Not enough cushion for distance running

Comfortable for daily wear, but not great for runs. Not enough cushion and they flex oddly which forces stride adjustment.

Wasn't for me. Returned it and got glycerines. Best shoe I've ever had.

The new PureFlow 7's don't feel as comfortable as the original PureFlow's. There isn't as much cushion. I have very narrow feet and these fit snug, which is good. I just wish they had more cushion when running on the road. I previously had the original PureFlow's that I purchased in 2012 and love them. I liked those much better. I have run 10 times on the road in the new PureFlow 7's.

Like the comfort and looks, but not that great for short-medium distance running.

It feels like there has been a change in the toe box. The shoe has a tighter fit across the top of my foot near my toes. The size seems wrong as well. I've had 4 pairs of these. I've been wearing size 11 for the first 3 pairs. I ordered a pair of 11s from Brooks and had to order another pair and go up a half size. I still like the semi-minimalist feel and low drop. I like the stability they provide as well.

I love these shoes. This is my second pair since pure cadence, which lived even more. I can't give more stars as the top sides break down! Both pair have broken down on me and there are many miles left in the soles. The breaks occur on the fabric and the bend of MU toes on both sides. BIG bummer. I'm in need of a new pair....Tough decision
