I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for 25 to 30 years and they have always been comfortable from the minute I put them on, no so with these. Don't know why they had to change a good thing. It took many miles before these felt ok on my feet. The look of them is ok. I always have to buy 1 1/2 size bigger than I wear in regular shoes, as they run so small.

I love the look and the comfort of these shoes, but I was very disappointed in the sizing. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. My regular size was incredibly tight and short. For these I had to order an 8. I wish Brooks was more consistent with their sizing because this isn't the first time I have had to do this. Love the shoes, hate the hassle.

I am sure that these would be very comfortable to the appropriate person. I have neutral pronation and these put too much pressure on my knees. So I gave overall three stars but for me they did not work and I had to return.

Huge footbed lacking cushioning. I was uncomfortable on my kitchen floor so I can’t imagine running in them on pavement or a track. Looks like a shoe a Referee would wear aka boring and makes the forefoot look massive on a woman. Returning.

Like other reviewers, I am terribly disappointed that Brooks decided to restyle the Adrenaline GTS 17 into the stylish but poorly supporting GTS 18. My overpronating feet could feel the difference immediately, and after walking around the house a bit I started to have pain on the outside edge of one foot. I am sadly now hunting for a worthy replacement for my beloved GTS 17.

I've never tried Brooks shoes before, but I can sure understand the comments of some reviewers regarding their size issues. I was amazed to see how many people thought this shoe was true to size. Not me! I virtually always wear a size 8.5 M or W in walking or running shoes. Started out with an 8.5 W for these, and they felt much smaller than the New Balance shoes I'd just bought from Zappos. So I returned them for 9 W, which felt only slightly larger and also demonstrated that another problem was that the toe box wasn't deep enough. Maybe a 9.5 Extra Wide would do it, but despite Zappos' generous exchange policy, I think this is a case of two strikes and you're out, and I'll just return these. I do like the navy/teal color combination and the look of the shoe though.

These shoes felt one size smaller and narrow. For reference, I wear an 11 in Topo Athletic shoes. These shoes also started hurting my feet and lower back. Had to return. Loved the style!

Brooks definitely sizes their shoes at least a half size smaller than normal sizing. My roommate even warned me to buy a half size larger and I didn't listen and man where they really too small. I had to exchange for a 9 and I normally wear (always) and 8.5. I actually bought these exact shoes based on a recommendation from my foot doctor for my plantar fasciitis. THEY DID NOT HELP! The arch support is just not enough for anyone suffering from this condition. I had to return them (twice). I will say though that I LOVED how they looked on my feet and if I didn't need them for a foot condition, I would have been proud to wear them! So repeat, definitely not enough arch support if you are looking for a supportive shoe for plantar fasciitis.

I bought these sneakers mainly for the style (I chose the gray/ebony/rose gold). I've had many pairs of Brooks running shoes over the years. These seem to be a little shorter in length and wider in the forefoot than usual. I bought two sizes, and ended up keeping the larger one in one color, which required inserts for arch support and to take up some of the extra room. I also kept my regular size in this color, to wear without inserts. I wish there was a little more arch support, but I like the way they look.

I have been searching for a pair of "normal looking" running shoes, i.e., no crazy colors, soles, trim, etc. I bought these in the "star spangle" color, and I love the traditional style. I did find myself ordering a half size larger after trying my regular size (the size of my last Brooks sneakers). I felt like my toes were going to poke through the mesh front/top, as far as the length went. Surprisingly, I found them to feel very wide in the forefoot. Almost every other shoe I try is too narrow in the front. I ended up having to order inserts for arch support and to take up a little of the extra room. The fit still isn't perfect, but I like the style enough to keep them. I've only worn them around the house so far, so we'll see how they fare on long outdoor walks.

These have been my go-to shoes for a while but this run (haha) has had more quality control issues than I've ever noticed before. I have a bit of a wide foot but have always been able to wear the medium/normal width. However, when I ordered my normal size and width in these shoes, they were noticeably more narrow when I put them on and when I held them up to my previous pair of the same exact shoe model, the rubber on the bottom was SIGNIFICANTLY more narrow than my old pair. Not sure what's going on with Brooks this time, but I hope they work it out. Ended up exchanging for the wide width which are almost too wide. I feel that maybe the normal width I received initially may have been a mismarked narrow pair. I will continue to wear this style in hopes that the quality control issues this go-round are just a fluke.

Big disappointment. I have the loved and worn out my GTS 12s and GTS 14s therefore I was ready for a new pair. With such a hefty price tag I was waiting it out and now that I finally decided to get another pair they have changed the sizing to a 1/2 size smaller. I would go up a 1/2 size but they don't come in 12.5. My search for a new pair of running shoes continues...

I ordered this because it was categorized as being good for over-pronators, and having lots of cushioning, and based on all the glowing reviews. While I did think it was a pretty comfortable and well-made shoe, it didn't seem particularly helpful for my pronation issue. I thought it was a lot of money for what would just be a comfortable sneaker, so I returned it.

I returned this item due to insufficient probation control.

I've been wearing the Brooks GTS for years and just reordered the latest "model" only to find it feels about a 1/2 size too large. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 in shoes and have been wearing the 9.5 Brooks but these now feel too loose. Ordered the 9's in the GTS and the Ghost model and ended up keeping the Ghost. Lighter, less rigid sole which work well with the my orthotics.

Disappointed in cushioning particularly at the mid and front. Been using this brand/style for years and not happy with this pair.

These shoes hurt my bunion. Loved the color!! Tried to reorder in size wide, they were too wide.

I tried this shoe since I have plantar fasciitis. It didn't feel like there was arch support, or any support overall. The material is very light weight and it is not a sturdy shoe for someone with feet issues.

I have worn several Brooks sneakers over the past 10 years. ......starting with Ariiel, Addiction and Adrenaline. The fit changes with each new model so different models have worked for me. I do have plantar fasciitis and arthritis - more bothersome in one foot than the other. I use them for everyday walking and fitness. I need arch support , cushion and stability. These shoes felt a bit shorter in length yet adequate in width. 8.5 M. I have found a better fit for my foot with the Gost 10 this time. Thanks for Zappos for allowing me to find the best fit!

Unfortunately have to return. Uncomfortable on my inner arch when running. Also made my feet really hot even just walking around. Cute though.

I'd been wearing the Adrenaline 17 for a long time and felt that it was true to my narrow foot and had good support. I've bought 4 pairs of them, for both wear at work and running. The 18 seems more cheaply made. It is comfortable for walking and some light running, but I have to tie them very tightly for them to feel like they are narrow enough. The logos on the side are peeling off the sides after having them for just a short time, and I went back and found a pair of the 17s elsewhere so I can continue wearing the older version.

I was looking for a shoe with a wider toe box and these in wide did not do it. I ordered 11 1/2 W and after 45 mins on the bike my feet hurt on the sides buy the little toes.

I have the GTS 17 and LOVE them. SO I thought the 18 would be just as good however I found the tread a little different and the back of it is about 1/4 inch shorter than the 17's. Which happen to not quite sit right on my Achilles so they are going back to Zappos!

These aren't quite as good as the 17s in the arch, but my bunion is still getting along ok in these. I ran 5 miles in them right out of the box and just ran 10 in them today. I wish the arch support was a bit better - I'll be looking into inserts.

Cushion doesn't compare to the Brooks Dyad 10. I don't like the color of the Dyad 10 and was hoping this style was comparable in cushion...not so much.
