The big draw for this particular shoe is the stability control. I walk at least 35 miles per week, so need a shoe that prevents rolling when various terrain changes occur. My previous pair was the Brooks GTS 17, and I can’t say there have been any life-changing improvements (or,alternately, cheap downgrades) to its successor the 18. It is a good looking sneaker, and the soles don’t appear clunky. I tried walking in my ASICS Gel Kinsei (my former go-to running shoe)after logging over 700 miles in my 17’s, and I turned around and went back after a mile. This shoe has fair arch support and I use an insole due to the sheer number of miles I walk. I never have achey feet or knees, despite my mileage, so that alone puts these shoes in a class of their own.

The fit and size was wonderful for me. I have to wear a leg brace, and the over pronation heel is extremely important to me. Very stylish looking. I plan to buy another pair soon even though I already have two pairs!

At first I didn’t want to run on them in case I had to return them but I’m glad I did, because I run almost five miles on them and my feet were happy afterwards. I order half a size bigger and it was perfect for me. This shoes are my transition from Mizuno Wave Creation 13.

LOVE! I am a runner, and since I had my baby, my feet has expanded slightly. These shoes come in a Wide Width, and seriously, it's like running on clouds! I'm buying a second pair :-)

Love these shoes! This is my 5th pair and they fit me so much better than the other brands.

These are the best shoes I've ever owned. I have problem feet, fallen arches and neuropathy. Constantly in pain. These shoes are so supportive! I use my orthotics with them and they really set me straight. Comfortable right out of the box, no wearing in necessary. After 2 days of wearing them to work I ordered a second pair. I'm telling anyone who will listen how great they are. I also have less knee and lower back pain. The material is soft and they are nice and light. I feel the colors are more muted than they appear online. They make my size 11 1/2 feet look decent. I heard about this brand through a professional Facebook group I belong to. I can't believe I didn't hear about them sooner. BTW, New Balance wasn't helping me anymore, that's why I was looking for something else and I'm glad I did!

Great shoes right out of the box! I use them to teach Jazzercise and they offer excellent support and cushioning.

First, I am not a runner; I use shoes like these for walking and light hiking. I can't give a runner's perspective, but these shoes were comfortable and gave good support, particularly for my high arches. However, they ran short. I normally take a size 11 or 11.5, depending on brand. My last pair of Brooks, Ghosts that I bought four years ago, were an 11.5. In this shoe, 11.5 was too short for me. Medium width was great, as was the toe-box size, which is often an issue for me. Finally, these shoes are nice-looking, and in spite of the size, don't look like an 11.5.

Fits true to size, soft, stylish and comfortable while providing support all through the day

I ordered these to replace an older model- they’re just as comfy and I love the new colors. These are my go-to sneaker because they come in extra wide.

Yahoo! Finally a Brooks shoe that is cute and comfortable. I had worn Brooks for years but the recent models just hadn't worked for me. These are well cushioned and supportive. They are wide in the toe box but don't look boxy. Fit great.

I always end up coming back to Brooks... These are so comfortable, and I love how sleek they are.

These will be great for some I am sure, but I want to feel more cushy on the inside bottom. Just felt to firm or hard and flat on my foot....moderate support at best. I do have large wide feet for a woman and I wear a size 12 W. But this is why I love Zappos....If I think I will like them I can order with no problems in returns when needed.

With moderate walking, the rim on both are fraying and I have had the pair only for 5 weeks. Very disappointed since my feet were comfortable in these. Not sure if I should exchange to see if they fray again.

I love these shoes, BUT there is a spot right over the big toe that has and indentation that rubs my toe. I tried doing a boot camp in them but had to stop because my toe was raw.

I have been wearing the Adrenaline for over 5 years, and this was my 4th pair, but I sent them back because I was very disappointed with the changes Brooks has made. I have terrible plantar fasciitis, and am a severe overpronator. The Adrenaline have always been my go to walking shoe, allowing me to walk miles and work tradeshow events with minimal foot pain. I've always chosen the Adrenaline because of the great arch support. The support on this new model is still excellent, but the toe box was so uncomfortably narrow, I couldn't wait to take it off after walking 3 miles. I don't have wide feet or need to order wide shoes, but the toe box was squishing my feet to the point where it was painful. I never had an issue with the toe box width in my previous pairs of this shoe. Also, the stretchy material the new model is made of seems thin, and I worry that it will not hold up with repeated use. My previous pairs were extremely durable for a fitness shoe. Sending these back, and knowing it's no longer my go to shoe, was a huge bummer. But, the thought of wearing these for long distance walks or work a busy event with my toes mashed together, makes me cringe.

I've been buying Brooks Adrenaline GTS since version 11 and this version is disappointing. It did not work for me and I returned. The footbed seemed to be stable and supportive, although not quite as supportive as I like for this type of shoe. Two things stood out to me about this new design: 1) The upper part is completely mesh and very flexible. It does not "hold" my foot in place. When I tightened the laces it seemed to pull across the bones on the upper part of my food which irritated them. I'm attaching an image showing my fingers pushing the material to the side (left shoe) and you can see how easily it spills over the side of the base. You may like this but it did not work for me. 2) The insert has a large plastic-feeling logo under the heel. You can see this in the second photo. Oddly, it seemed to cause my heel to sweat? It felt weird and made a smacking sound when I walked. I noticed the logo on the insert has been getting larger and larger in my last few pairs of Brooks, and have used fabric tape to cover the logo on previous versions. I hope Brooks sees this review and re-thinks the material they use to make their logo (or better yet, just don't put a logo on the inside of the shoe!). I also have wide feet and need a supportive stability shoe with a wide toebox. If you are similar I recommend the New Balance 860v8 in a D/wide or extra wide. I buy the Brooks in a 2E/Extra wide and the New Balance 860v8 in a D/wide (not extra wide).

Comfortable shoe for running

High arches and chronic plantar issues from decades of dancing and pounding the sidewalks of Manhattan...all addressed by Brooks. I usually wear 8-1/2, but bought this pair at size 9, and my toes still touch the end of the shoe. Ah well, they're very comfortable, great for walking and workout classes at the gym. You cannot go wrong with Brooks; just order a half-size larger than usual.

These shoes are very light compared to my New Balance. They are also more flexible, and the mesh allows for good airflow! I am very happy with these shoes!
