1 have tried a view ariat shoes now and all the same horrible leather quality max a 6 months and then you can trow them away. Other brand I can walk whit for at least 2 years before leather get bad. And That is even whiteout cleaning etc that you have to do every day whit arias. Because I was told to do that. Otherwise it was my own fault so you give no service and quality is horrible.

Although the boots are very nice, the "wide", regardless of what the Q & A says, are NOT really a wide. Don't waste your time and money on these. Look somewhere else-but that's not an easy task! They were returned after trying on.

Probably these boots would have been great, but I have recently had surgery on my foot which has made fitting more challenging. With other shoes, I'm fine with a lace-up so I can leave the laces looser to avoid pressure on the surgical site. Unfortunately, these boots were tight at the base of the tongue of the boot, so I couldn't get my foot into the shoe even though they would have fit if I could have. Very disappointed. I'll need to try on some to find something that will work for me.

I've been wearing these boots since the mid-nineties. I still have a pair of these from 1996. Now, a year after I bought them, the leather is tearing at the sole. I don't use these boots for anything having to do with horses. I wear them for pleasure and for Sporting Clays. Even with this light wear, they are falling apart. Like i said, a far cry from what they used to be.

Compared to the dozen or so previous Ariat paddock boots, these are a disappointment in almost every way. Most upsetting is these boots lack the same support and insoles as the numerous previous pairs including Performer Pro. The footbed support is the number one reason I select Ariat over and over again and will be looking into other brands. The laces won't stay tied and the eyelet hooks are undersized. The only positives are that the leather seems soft and they are offered in wide. I do question how long these boots will hold up to daily wear as the sole of the boots does not feel substantial.

My size was out of stock so I went up by one half size, and even then, the pointy toes made them too painful to wear. Sent them back and was promptly refunded.

the top of my toes hurt when I flexed my ankle, as I need to when feet are in stirrups. These boots are also very stiff. My old Ariats had a rounded toe, roomy toe box from top to bottom. Plenty of wiggle room for toes. The old ones were a better design for a riding boot that requires a heels down position. That said, I have a hard to fit foot-bunion, high arches, high instep. These might work for someone else.

I bought these to replace the Heritage III boots I've been wearing for six years, but they changed the design too much. These are really stiff and fit snug in the toe box, but too loose in the ankle, so I didn't feel as secure or comfortable while riding. My feet are aching after walking around in them for ten minutes! The design is also less dressy looking. Disappointing.

I loved my first pair of Ariat lace-ups -- the fit perfect right away, withstood my first year and a half of horsebackriding, walking in circles for pony rides, and all kinds of New England weather.. right up until the stitching finally gave out. So I replaced them with what I thought was a second pair on sale at a local equestrian shop -- so much less comfortable. Been wearing them for 5 months and not only is the sole peeling off the toe, but I have a terrible blister on my heel from my last pony ride event. If this is Ariat's idea of an update, I'm out.

I couldn't wear these, not the right fit on my foot and really stiff. I found the Heritage Lacer II's to be much more satisfactory.

Very disappointed. These are much much lower quality than ariat boots I have being buying for last 20 years. Leather split on both sides of both boots. Heel wears down very rapidly. Also, I really miss the rear zip of "performer" boots I used to buy.

According to Ariat, my perfect boot size is 44E. This size as a lace-up is not produced by Ariat for men anymore. Thanks very much. The 44E zip is much too big for my feet around the ankles

The shoe is uncomfortable and hasn't broken in after over a month of wearing them daily. The lining on the heel which is supposed to be for "comfort" is made of some weird material that leaves blisters on heels. I am forced to buy some heel paddings and spend even more money. I cannot believe o spent so much on these shoes I expected better quality. After a week of wearing them literally to just walk, the leather gets chipped! Aren't these boots meant for people working and horseback riders? They can't even withstand someone walking! I'm so sad I spent so much money on a pair of shoes that causes pain and discomfort. The only nice thing I can say about them is that they're pretty. But not for long with how easily they scuff and chip. Very very very disappointed and feel as though I've wasted my money.

I I love these boots so much until I got these they are now even though I ordered ordered a wide.. and to get different pair I had to send them back and pay for a second pair of them and wait for a credit..hey didn't just exchange them. And pair 6 now , still to narrow, even at 1/2 size larger. I compared the soles of my old ones with these new ones and indeed they are making them narrower they are not as wide as all four of the pair that I had before and that's ridiculous if these are made in the US why are they not even making them white anymore It isn't like we got narrower feet somehow. If I could give them a zero star I would. extremely disappointed, The shoe repair store said they can't even stretch them out because the the leather is too thin

I have been buying Ariat Heritage paddock boots for probably close to 15-20 years and normally I pick the Round Toe, however I have tried this exact one in the past and again I had to purchase these due to the round toe not being available. Worst blisters ever! Both times! They also feel more stiff and feel more hot inside too. Super bummed out. I will probably have to swap brands now.

Compared to my previous Ariats, the leather is cheap and feels like it will not hold up. The leather is so thin my boots already have scuff marks. Immediately got heel blisters, something I never experienced with previous Ariats. I managed to soften up the heel area, so now I can wear them for limited amount of time with no discomfort. Very disappointed.

I started wearing Ariats about 23 years ago, usually a paddock style for everyday and work outside. The first pair I bought, I put on at the store and walked out the door and all over San Francisco, no problems, ever. Since then I have bought other pairs, and they have been my primary shoe. Over the years I have noticed a decline in leather quality, to where it was stiffer. Finally this year, I have ordered three different pairs, of similar style and had to send every one back- stiff leather, but worse, the footbed sizing must have change to where the tiny bit if extra room across the ball of the foot and small toes is much narrower. I compared them to my current pair, even, and saw this was not just my imagination. So, I am done with Ariat. I live too far from a store that carries them to try on even more styles, so I have to order on line. Sorry to see such a negative change.

I bought these to replace my Ariat Heritage III Paddock boots which I love, love, love and have worn most every winter day for a couple of years. These are so not the same. They do not fit snugly, the sole and heel have been redesigned so they are not as dressy, and they are going back.
