I have had these shoes for about 6 months. At first, they seemed snug and were difficult to put on and remove. They've had time to stretch now and go on and come off just fine. The shoe has a nice sock lining, which feels better without socks or peds. I bought a 39 which is my usual size in the gold color. I love these shoes and always get compliments on them. I like the toggle style shoe and was looking for this style when I found these at Zappos. I wish Ecco would make more of this style! At first, I was leery about wearing these all day when I would be on my feet, but no worry my feet feel just fine. My foot is also slightly wide for those of you who think they might be too narrow they gave a bit over time!

I love Eccos and have many pairs. This is the first pair I have ever returned. Very narrow. I have an old pair of the same style but different material and they were great. These also felt a bit short. I always buy a 39.

Nice looking sneaker. I like the narrow fit but I need arch support. Sadly returning.

This shoe is a bit tight in width. Not nearly as comfortable as my previous ECCO shoes. I t does not look gray at all. It is gold. The only gray is the binding around the shoe. Would not but again.

I love Ecco and this is a beautiful shoe. When it's on, it fits perfectly but my instep is so high that I struggle to get the shoe on. Sorry but I will return it.

Cute shoe, but no arch support, not a typical ECCO shoe. I had to return.

The shoe looked like just what i was looking for. The size was so off that I could not get it on my foot and couldn't tell whether it would work or not in another size. Never happened before at Zappos.

This is my second pair of this style. I wear them for golf.

I usually wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 narrow. After reading the reviews, it was suggested to order a size larger but I didn’t do it and took a chance. I ordered my usual size 7 and the shoes fit perfectly. I have to agree with most of the reviews that said these shoes are narrow so if you have other than a narrow foot, I would not suggest them. For me they are very comfortable and I really love them! The color Is pretty, but not a pure silver gray, they do look metallic with maybe a slight gold tone to them. It’s not a bright gold but it ‘s a very subtle gold so still I like them.

I have a narrow foot (AA), so Ecco fits the bill. They look good with leggings, jeans, and shorts. I only wish this style came in more colors.

I usually wear a size 40 which was too tight with these shoes, so I jumped to the 42 and they are perfect. The leather is very soft and the shoes are very comfortable. I suggest moving up a size or two with these shoes. I also added non-prescription arch support. Price is good. I am very happy with them.

I loved it. You have to order one size bigger. I have narrow feet so I can get them on, my mom’s always purchased wide shoes therefore she could not get these on. Just for narrow feet

Always take a chance with Ecco. In November, when I was looking for gold toggle shoes, there weren't any, I had to get silver/gray metallic, which turned out to be the best shoes I have ever owned. This time, looking for silver/gray metallic, I found gold -- officially described as "warm gray cow leather." They are the gold shoes I was looking for originally. You would never guess from the picture on the website. They are a bit snug overall, so they will stretch out a little over time and still fit. The soles are less padded than I hoped, so I have added an insole. I don't think I would expect to walk long distances in them; they are perfect for saying, "look, I have warm grey / actually gold shoes." Always take a chance with Ecco.

Much smaller and tighter than sizing would indicate; love the style but couldn’t make the sizing work

The fit was true to my other Eccos. Bought my usual size. They are comfortable with thin socks, but I got a blister without socks.

I have another pair of Ecco toggles that I bought several years ago. I have worn them all over the world. I LOVE them! Based on the fit and comfort of the old shoes I ordered the same size-38. I should have listened to the reviewers. They had to go back in return for a 39. The 39 fits exactly like the 38s in the other shoes I have. It seems to me the collar of the shoe is a little tight but once on they’re perfect. The sleek style helps them look more feminine and not the typical clunky black sneaker.

I went down a size and knew that they would be snug. I broke them in before I took them on a trip. Got some small blisters on the back of the heel and used Moleskin to deal with that. The snugness gives over to a soft comfortable snug sneaker that fits like a ballet slipper. I like this type of shoe. Not so much arch support but I felt fine after wearing them nonstop for 24 hrs. in an airport this past weekend. I have had many Ecco boots and shoes before and love all of them. This is the first sneaker type shoe that I have purchased.

I have narrow feet. These fit very nicely and are stylish.

The beautiful shoe, so stylish is unfortunately narrow and maybe 1/2" shorter than the usual sneaker. If you have a more narrow foot--you are so lucky to get this unusual walk around shoe. I wish my feet were more narrow in the toe box area--that is the problem.

I ordered the gold color and was glad that I read the reviews before ordering as they really run small. All my other ECCO toggle shoes were size 39 ,but these are perfect in size 40. They are stylish sneaker.

Great looking shoe - snug fit, but comfortable once on.

Definitely runs a little bit small. Go up 1/2 size. Very cute, modern and sporty
