I loved these shoes: very supportive. Unfortunately, they were just a bit small so I returned the size 10's and got a 10.5 which fit much better. My orthotics fit without a problem and there is a good amount of toe room.

These are my 2nd pair of these Mizuno running shoes. The support is great for over-pronation. Ordered 1/2 size up and the length was just right. Was able to replace with my own insoles. Good to go (jog!) right out of the box. I just wish they looked a little less clunky. Maybe if the soles were black instead of white it'd be less noticeable.

These shoes felt cushy and comfy. They are lighter in weight then my previous pair of running shoes (a pair of Brooks). I've done one 5K run/walk while wearing these shoes and I felt like they really suited my running style. I did get one blister on my heel after the first wear but I think that was just because they were not broken in yet.

This is the first time I've tried a Mizuno shoe. The rubber on the soles was fine inside on carpet, but once outside I noticed that the rubber had that cheap, loud sound that cheap sneakers make on concrete and other hard surfaces. The comfort wasn't like a brand new sneaker, it was like I had owned the pair for a year and the inside was already flattened out. BUT, they look great and I've gotten compliments on them!

I used to wear Brooks GTS adrenaline series but they have since changed for the worst, so I thought I'd give these a try. I ordered my usual size (in a wide) but it was too short and too narrow. I ordered a half size up, thinking it would remedy the too narrow sizing (although wide ordered again) but the shoe was too long and too tight. The Wide doesn't seem like a true wide. Once you loosen the laces to fit the appropriate width, there isn't enough lace to make a bow and there isn't enough material on the sides to support the lateral area of the foot. They have gone back:(

This is usually one of my favorite shoes. I have a very narrow heel, and prefer a tight toe box. Unfortunately, this model for some reason had a little too tight of a toe box, and my middle toe rubbed, despite ordering my usual size

I wanted to love these, but they were narrow. I’ve always bought a 9w (new balance). With these my toes were on the edge and hanging over the side (hole waiting to happen). They are super cushy and comfortable, wish they worked out.

I wear size 8.5 wide. I’ve been getting. Brooks shoes for working out because they come in double wide but they aren’t the most attractive shoes. I recently purchased a pair of these Mizunos for my hubby and he says they are the most comfortable he’s ever had. So I tried these in a wide and the toe box was nice and roomy but the instep was just too tight still. The pink and grey look so good but these won’t work for me.

The toe box is a bit too wide. Overall they seem like a good fit. My feet have to have the padding that is in running shoes to support them & keep me walking. They are a really nice looking shoe. I like the round shoe strings, they are easier to tie & un-tie. And the fast shipping is really great.

This is my first time wearing Mizunos. I wore Asics but they stopped making my size. Boo. I ordered two pair since I had not worn them before, one a half size bigger than my normal 11.5 2A because of the reviews. I didn’t need it and went with the 11.5 2A which is my normal size. They are comfortable but really too wide for me. I may relegate them to winter when I can wear thicker socks.

The toe bed was too narrow in these sneakers and they seemed to run small. They are nice looking and have good arch support. However, the fit was uncomfortable for me so I returned them.

This shoe was marginally better than the Wave Rider 21, but just barely. That's because it runs very short, at least a half size. It is slightly better looking due to more color, but could still be improved upon.

I've been buying the wave inspire for years, had the 12 and 13 in a 9.5 W. Ordered these in a 9.5 W and they felt much smaller than the previous generations, particularly more narrow in the toe box, sent them back. I don't care for this latest update. Definitely go a half size to a full size higher than your normal size in these, especially if you need a wide toe box.

These seemed to run narrow, but the reason they went back was a "lip" on the heel cup.

Beautiful shoe but the 7.5 wide is still very narrow across the toe knuckles. Tongue is fairly thick over the foot, especially near the toes.
Also the cut on the upper part of the shoe near where the laces are centered over the toe area, has some sharp edges.
Beautiful shoe color combo.

Beautiful shoe. Am going to try it in the next size up. I have a wide foot and I thought I ordered the right size. Could not even get my foot part way into the shoe 6.5w).

I ordered a 10.5 wide because shoes are being made way narrow these days. These are not wides. I was able to get them on without socks and they are still a bit snug, but I will be wearing socks. I live in Minnesota and Winter is cold here. The length was true to size.

Nice looking shoes but very poor arch support, for my feet at least. The inserts are flimsy and the arch is located too close to the heel.

I have older versions of this shoe and loved them. This one was not as good for me. It did not feel cushiony at all. I wore my old shoe on one foot and the new one on my other foot. The cushioning felt the same. Not what I had hoped for in a new shoe. The shoe is narrow like most Mizunos but the toe box felt and looked a little big. I was also very aware of the back of the heel. It seemed to catch somewhat with every step that I took. A disappointing experience for me.

I am very dissatified and disappointed. I purchased Wave Inspire 14 a year ago in a local running shoe store and have loved it. Loved them so much I wanted another pair so I purchased the same shoe, same size, but different color from the Mizuno USA website. Unfortunately, the fit is not the same. The shoe from the website in the Folkstone gray-pink glo color is much more narrow than the Dapple Gray-Clover color that I currently have. And the shoe strings were much shorter and almost too short to effectively tie. Am returning them for a refund.

The shoe fits smaller than expected. Very disappointed that the company offers neither the option to exchange for a larger size nor free returns. Mizuno makes a very good product, but, the customer service experience is below average.

The shoes are great! I've worn them for a year and they helped my hip and lower back pain. However, the company sent me the wrong size, wouldn't take responsibility for the error. I sent them back and still have not been reimbursed. My advice, find a store that carries these shoes (like I did the first time), don't buy them online.

I bought the shoes 3 1/2 months ago. I change out shoes most days, so these shoes are only worn a couple times a week. I mainly do walking in them and teach a few fitness classes a week, I have ran in them once or twice. The main part of the shoe(welt area) is already coming away from the sole. This should not be happening already! I've never had a problem with shoes like this within only a few months. Along with the support is just not there in the long run for someone looking for support. I would not recommend Mizuno's quality of a shoe at all.

I'm a long distance runner and have been running in Mizuno wave inspires for 6-7 years now, and only twice had to switch to a different brand with an update (the last one was the 12's). This update is the worst downward slide. The new to the toe box makes it a lot slimmer on an already slender shoe), and places a fairly hard plastic where the laces end. There is less overall support, which is essential in a corrective shoe. Took the time to break them in properly, and started my regular running regimen. On the third long run I got a sudden foot tendon injury that has been plaguing me for over a month. Switched to new balance, and I started being able to run again. Tried these as walking shoes, and the injury flared up. I would not recommend this as a stability shoe for long distance runners.
