I was so disappointed when these shoes arrived! I've been relying on Keen Arroyo II for many years. I wear them all day at work in a hot greenhouse with cement floors. I need a wide sandal with a closed heel - the Arroyo III looked lighter and I love the blue. I ordered the same size I always wear in Keen and I could barely get my foot into the sandal. I measured them side by side with a new pair of Arroyo II and there's a huge difference in both length and width. There's no way to really show this in a picture but you can at least see that they are different. Keen - what happened?!

Comparing these to original Arroyo I which I love. Similar arch support, weight and style but definitely narrower design. It does run true to size lengthwise, I did make mistake to size up based on customer reviews and had to exchange for my usual athletic/hiking shoe size. For normal width foot, the narrowness results in warmer feel then what I was used to, you can't just slip into them as with original and with removable insole I'd avoid using them as a water sandal (kayaking, beach). So while still a good, comfortable sandal to be used as a casual summer shoe or a lightweight day hiker, I'm not loving it... One other note on sizing, due wide design of original, I think I had them in size 9 which left no free space for large toe and pictures show comparison to a size 9.5 of the Arroyo III

Once again, Zappos seems to have a problem with color accuracy in their photos. What I receieved is very differnt interms of the shades of blue anf gray. I've returned several orders in the past few months because of this same reason. Take a look for yourself. And no this is not a vidoe mnitor display issue as the color I see from zappos is consistent on multiple device displays.

Had a 10-1/2 size in an older Keen Newport H2 and this shoe had the same fit in the same 10-1/2 size. I like this shoe covers more of your foot (keeps it from getting sunburned). Use the shoe on a boat and the traction on the deck was good.

From the first wear these shoes felt great. I wear a ladies 12 so an enclosed water type sandal is hard to find. I ordered this shoe in a men's 10 and it fits great. My foot is narrow but I can pull the ties to bring it in. Also, like the color (mine is the gray and blue), looks good with jeans and wanted the slip on feature for the airport. Nicely pleased.

Good shoe and update from previous models. Ventilation is better and the styling is more attractive (would like more color options). I am a Keen shoe customer and wear several other styles/models, and I recommend this new version. The only recommendation I submit is to size up a half size, because the shoe does seem a little more snug than normal.

Found size to be true to other Keen shoes I have. At most found shoe to run half size small. As with other Keens I have, depending on the style of shoe, they have about a half size variance.

Damn, are my feet still growing? 11.5 should fit but they are too too small. May try a 12.

I usually wear 7.5 in these. This year's model is crazy small! I ordered my usual size and completely didn't fit. Too short and too narrow.

The Arroyo IIIs fit smaller than the old Arroyo IIs. My old IIs were a little loose on my feet, but the new IIIs in the same size are very snug. It's probably a half size difference from the old models. Also, the IIIs look fine, but I liked the orange contrast on the older IIs better.

As per comments, the sizing runs small so I bought one size larger and the fit was perfect for brother. Comfortable with good support and aeration. Due to foot issues, sandals were recommended and these are a great transition from sneakers as a closed toe is best for his work.

The "medium" width should be read as NARROW!

Arroyp III were, as suggested by others, smaller and narrower than expected. Took under a minute to arrive at this conclusion: opened the box, put them on, took about 10 steps in the house, took them off, returned them. Definitely do not recommend for peeps with regular or wide feet. I eventually bought a pair of Arroyo II - which fit my feet. BTW- why is it necessary to rank the "style" of these shoes? They are clunky ugly Keens that are supposed to look like that and be functional. So my stylometer rating above is a lie, had to do so to submit the review.

The fit was rather snug across the bridge workmanship well, not what have come to expect from Keen, not the same color as ordered. Going back to the orginal style I've grown acustom to. Love your return policy.

Like many before me I love Arroyo II shoes, I probably have gone through about 10 pair in 10 years. Keen Size 9.5 Arroyo II fits my feet perfectly. So I was very disappointed that even after ordering a size 10 in Arroyo III they hardly would go on my feet. I immediately returned them and went back to my old standby, the Arroyo II in size 9.5. New models are too, too narrow.

Not suitable for elders. Too difficult to get into. Top opening too small because top is cut too high. This is true of most Keen shoes and sandals, men's and women's. Very disappointing.

I love the style of these shoes, which made it very disappointing to try them on and find that Keen did something really weird with their footbed. Rather than support under the arch, there is too much support or pressure on the outside edge of the foot, causing my foot to go numb after a few minutes. Now looking for a new favorite shoe maker....
