This shoe feels comfortable, with no areas that rub on bare feet. I usually wear an 8 to 8.5 B, and the 8.5 fit perfectly. There is plenty of toe room under the rather exaggerated toe cap, but, as I said, it is comfy. What I would like to see from Keen in this type of shoe, is a bit more cushioned footbed - like Jambu does very well. There is a built up arch support, not too much but it is there, and for my high arch it is essential to have some form of arch support. The other point is that this well-built shoe is on the heavy side. Good support, but I wouldn't wear it on a long hike. Do try it, to see how it works for you. I love the grey color, goes with so much for summer.

A little tight around the heel when trying to slip them on, but feels good when wearing them.

Fit is true to the usual Keen style. Cushioned foot bed and moderate arch support- I wear these for walking in rainy days or at the beach /lake- they dry quickly and do not get soggy at all.

These Hydros are definitely a half size too small. I've always worn a size 7 in the Newport H2, but these were hard to pull on and too tight in the toe area. The 7.5 fits perfectly. I will say, though, that Keen has changed their sandal footbed - they just don't feel as cushy/springy as they used to. This new Hydro feels rather firm, like my older worn-a-lot H2s. So maddening, since Keen has been the only sandal that my feet will like and feel supported with comfort.

I have tried Keen sandals numerous times, but they were always too small and narrow. But since my normal size is a 10, stores never had larger sizes for me to try. Thanks for carrying bigger sizes zappos! I tried several other sandals, both Keens and Merrels l, and I thought these had the most supportive foot bed and were most comfortable. I also love the color and style.

Wanted to keep these because of the color, but as some had previously reviewed, these ran about 1/2-1 size too small. Unfortunate, as this style IS exceptionally comfortable when the right size fits! Had to return.

Definitely order 1/2 size up from what you normally wear. Super comfortable once you get the right size. Perfect shoes for kayaking and summer hikes.

This hiking sandal has many good features, but the design needs improvement. The toe ridge on the footbed dug in to my toes (so I had to return them). Better arch support and a firmer, less cushy footbed would be better for hiking (though the cushioning felt good). The toe box looks wider than it is, and I needed to order an 8M rather than my usual 7.5M

Love, love the color! Really quality shoe. The cushioning for me is far preferable to the whisper shoe. These, however, are just really clunky looking on me (I'm 5'2" and mainly torso;). The toe box is just really really wide for me. Bummer. Need to go back.

I bought these to replace my 5 year old Keens (don't know what style I had) that I just love. I tried the Whisper's first and didn't feel they had enough arch support but the size was also to small. The arch support is better in the Hydro's but I ordered a 1/2 to small so am returning them to get the 9's. I normally wear a 8-8 1/2. My tennis shoes are normally a 9 though. I have also ordered a pair of H2 and Whispers's in a 9 to compare all three for comfort and style. These are a little more bulky than the Whispers.

I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit perfectly. I have somewhat narrow feet but these fit perfectly, although they make my feet appear wider than usual. Good grippy sole. I recommend them!

As stated in other reviews, something is just off with the toe box of this shoe. Much to large - to much of the rubber.

These are super cute. I ordered a pair in the magnet/coral and even my husband thought they were cute. Unfortunately, I am returning as they are really snug and feel about a half size smaller than normal. I have multiple pairs of keens including the venice and they all fit just fine in the same size. Really bummed.

Really needed a long distance hiking shoe and had high hopes. I have a wide width foot, size 9.5. I tried 10 medium but it still felt very tight throughout the foot bed. Hope someone else can make it work for them.

I tried Keen Newport Hydro, Venice H2 and Whisper. I kept the Whisper. I know that Keen has a very particular look and style, but these looked a little awkward and clunky on me. Perhaps it was the color I chose, crabapple/summer fig; maybe the light colored toe guard was too prominent? They also didn't feel as good on my feet as either the Whisper or Venice H2. They did feel quite rugged and sturdy if that's what you're looking for though. I also would have needed a half size larger. Normally 6.5 but they were just a hair too snug.

Returning for 1/2 or full size larger. Strangely, it looks like it should fit my foot perfectly (and it’s much wider than other Keens), but I simply couldn’t get my foot all the way in.

These look cute but unfortunately they do not work for me even though I usually have great luck with Keen. The main problem aside from these running small, is that the strap that goes around the ankle doesn’t have stretch, so it is nearly impossible for me to put these shoes on. The pull tabs help a bit and I was able to get one on but it was too small and tight especially around the toe area. A half size up might be OK but I’m not willing to try that because I’m still concerned about the design of the opening at the ankle.
