These shoes are great quality and fit our 8-year-old boy’s feet perfectly. It’s hard to find shoes for him as he has wide feet with a high instep: last year’s brand and model Geox Kids Jr Federico fit him great but this year the same model’s bigger size does not. Hush Puppies came to the rescue just a couple of weeks before school started again. They can be polished to a high sheen (especially with good quality polish like Saphir) and they make him look sharp! I would recommend them to anyone!

I bought these for my sons graduation he’s in between sizes so I went with the bigger size and they are a bit to big but he’ll grow into them. He said they are very comfortable.

Ok! Don't laugh but I actually just bought these for myself!!! They are SOOOOOO comfortable and they fit my son's foot with a little room to grow and then I decided to try them on for fun and THEY FIT ME PERFECTLY AND also are the most comfy shoes EVER! The weird thing is that I'm a women's size 8..... so I guess I'm a 6 boy's Med!!! Who knew?! Now I do!!!!

I needed boy’s dress shoes in a wide width for my sons. I bought the Hush Puppies, Florsheim Kids, and School Issue to compare (the only options in wide width). Both boys picked the Hush Puppies as most comfortable. The insole has great cushioning. The Florsheim was a close second choice. The School Issue had a very firm insole with minimal cushioning, and the leather looked plasticky.

Needed XW shoes for a kiddo. These are wide-ish but barely and certainly not extra wide. Otherwise, seem to be made well but who knows. They’re dress shoes. This kid will only wear a few times before outgrowing.

Shoes were felt comfortable for my son, but unfortunately too big for him at this time.

Perfect for my little guy’s ring-bearer ensemble. He likes a wide width and this fit the bill perfectly.

I bought this shoe for my 12 year old son as a school shoe. They fit true to size and he said they are very comfortable. They are also not bulky like most school shoes.

I brought these shoes for my son for him to wear for the school year. Since they have memory foam I was extremely happy, that his feet can have that cushion while at school for 8 hrs. My son has expressed that these shoes are extremely comfortable and it’s literally the only shoe he wants to wear everyday. The only problem I found was that with him being a kid and he always kneeling while at school the shoes bent very quickly the first day after wearing them he came home and the shoes was completely bent.

My son love this shoes! He compared it with the ones from last school year and he says that the shoes are light and the memory foam is an A+.

Great Stylish Comfortable Shoe - polished black leather, roomy toe box. Selected the Hush Puppy Chad over this one though - this one would look better with a suit but I was looking for something for school that would hold up during recess and I thought the Chad style would take a little rougher beating. Both the TY and the Chad had the same comfy feel inside - if you have more "flintstone feet" I'd select this over the Chad because the toebox was slightly more room for the little toe. Overall very happy with both but couldn't afford to keep both when they're growing like weeds.

The fit was good, the material/quality good, the style looked great. The sole was a little stiff at first but seemed to loosen with a little bending. But for my son the deal-breaker (with this and the other similar Hush Puppies shoes) was the oval pad in the heel of the foot bed. I know it's there to provide extra shock-absorption, but he just felt it sticking up so much that he rejected them. We ended up keeping an Ahannie brand shoe. I think you should still give these Hush Puppies a try and see if your son doesn't mind the bump! At least I was so happy these come in wide width and would be a more comfortable shoe than a dress shoe to wear with a suit to a wedding.

These shoes are not made of leather, they are made of plastic. The smell is very strong!

Bought these for my son and he really seems to like them. Work best with jeans or chinos. He will be using them with an orchestra uniform.
