The backpack color is not the color it actually is in person either is the orange. I'm glad I went to the store to see the colors before I purchased it. It is also more expensive online then in the store.

I was confused by the size. I thought I had got the bigger one.

I purchased this backpack and it ripped on the inside within a month of using it. I use it as a school backpack which holds a few folders and binders.

Material is not good for a school backpack. Every piece of lint and dirt sticks to it. Do not recommend.

we just got this backpack a couple weeks ago... isnt over stuffed and the zipper on it is already broken

Good bag. I out my keys in a pocket and tried to shut it this morning and the zipper fell off completely. All the stuff that was in there i had to move somewhere else in the bag.

Stitching started to pull and split in week 1. Very unhappy with that! Love the color.

The color of the bag is more of a teal than what the picture shows.

I love this Bon Bon Medallion pattern and the colors however the picture shows the medallion in the center and mine is not. I will be returning.

I just received this backpack, I was So exited waiting for it, one because it is my birthday present and secondly because I really need it for my work. But to my disappointment I think I received a used item! One of the two side pockets is all stretched out! So I can't even put my hand sanitizer/water bottle because it won't hold! I'm very surprised Because I never had an issue of quality control with any of my Vera's purchases, not even in the Vera outlet.

I'm very frustrated with Vera Bradley right now. 2020 has not been the year for anyone including VB as it shows with the quality of many products i've had issues with this year. I purchased this backpack in late February 2020 at the Shops at La Cantera in San Antonio. I used it daily for about a couple weeks and then the Pandemic hit mid march and did not use it for work any more as everything shut down. Every now and then work required me to report a couple days out of the week. I would not use this backpack every time. I have an extensive collection and switch out my bags very often. When I finally put it in my rotation (june 8th), I noticed a rip in the mesh pocket that is located within the main compartment. A campus backpack should be made to last daily for an entire scholastic school year MINIMUM. Why is my mesh pocket ripping/tearing after 3 months of non-continuous use? Why include these mesh pockets if it is not going to last? I was already very cautious about not sticking anything pointy/sharp in them... It does appear that it was not sewn in properly as the rip is at the base. It appears as if it just slipped out.... but, now, I am wary about purchasing any vera bradley items that have mesh, and that's A LOT of items. I absolutely love Sweethearts and Flowers, so much so, that I have the entire collection minus the apparel! It is very frustrating dealing with quality issues when you love something so much. I spoke with Kim- Customer Service Representative-& she informed me of the return policy and stated I am over the 60 days grace period. BUMMER! But, she was very helpful/kind. Thank you Kim if you are reading this. Now, I need to decide if i'm sending this campus backpack in for store credit.... & be lacking an item in my sweethearts and flowers collection, as i don't feel comfortable purchasing a product with mesh. ugh.

I would like to start by telling you to please not purchase this backpack because honestly they are not worth the price. I got my first backpack about 2 years ago and it started showing signs of stitches and fabric coming undone at the bottom after only a few months. Of course I went to the Vera Bradley store and was rudely told that I couldn't return it because I was probably just dragging it around. I was not it's simply that the backpack isn't made well. When I called customer service they sent me a new backpack and took my old one. However, the new one is having the same issues and I don't plan on arguing with customer service again since I'm going to school and can't send the backpack. Ultimately, don't buy it. You're better off buying a jansport and replacing it every 2 years then buying an expensive Vera Bradley. I attached a picture for your viewing pleasure!

Pattern was not what I expected...didn't look as nice as pictured..to much orange

I was so excited about this back pack but within one week the zipper seam frayed and ripped. I can't find any warranty info on the website. For the price I'm very disappointed.

It's called the campus backpack, but does not hold up for campus level materials. Within a 2 month period, this backpack began showing wear on the bottoms. This included tears in the fabric and holes in the bottom. I exchanged the backpack at my Vera Bradley store and was told, Don't drag it on the ground. As a college student, I am fully aware of how to handle a backpack with care, especially with such a hefty price tag. After receiving the new backpack, once again I found holes and tears in the bottom after just a couple of months. I will no longer be purchasing from Vera Bradley.

The material is already ripping.

I've had a large campus backpack that was or pristine quality so I decided to repurchase. I don't know if vera Bradley has lowered its standards on backpacks now that they've become more popular amongst the industry but I have never been more dissatisfied with a purchase. I repurchased what I thought would be the exact same backpack simply a different color (had navy blue, repurchased in gray) but the quality of my newest purchase is no where near that of my old backpack. I'm sure companies evolve their products to make them better but never would I think it would downgrade to such low standards.

I've had this bag for two months and it's already falling apart. I only keep my laptop and two notebooks inside this bag. The top handle is ripping off. Very, dissapointed, especially for the amount of money spent on this product.

I got this backpack for Christmas. I had picked it out about a month and a half earlier and my mom bought it for me, but said I would still have to wait until Christmas. I was so excited because I had got a matching duffel bag, wallet, blanket, and purse. The duffel, blanket, and this backpack was all monogrammed and I was extremely excited for over a month. The backpack was a big let down! Three of the zippers have already come off. I noticed that the price of the backpack increased by $7 recently, but it's far from being worth that. I had a Vera Bradley backpack that I used last year and wrote a nice review about because it was pretty good, but they are making worse backpacks and increasing the prices. It's a disgrace, honestly.

Top zipper broke within a few months of use. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to have this happen so soon.

Ordered a blue and pink floral print backpack as a gift and received a black and white floral print. Very disappointed. Had to rush out and bought a different gift from a local store.

My daughter used this book bag for school for 3 days(she got it for Christmas) and she came home today and the zipper is broke. This is the second time this has happened. The first time I brushed it off this time I won't. It has been used 3 days, what a disappointment.

I bought this backpack for my granddaughter In August for back to school use, and a little more than 2 months later, the zipper broke on the back compartment. We have tried to repair with no success. Considering the price of these backpacks, I feel they should be durable and last more than a couple of months. I have owned several Vera handbags over the years and have not had any problems; however, it seems that my granddaughter's backpack has a defective zipper. My daughter sent a complaint email regarding this issue, but has had no response. This is the reason for this review. Hopefully, Vera Bradley will stand behind their products and replace defective items. If they don't in this case, I will no longer be a customer, and will ensure that everyone I know hears about their poor customer service.

If you are a college student who actually uses your backpack do not waste your money on any Vera Bradley backpacks. They show wear extremely fast and do not hold up to any use. The sales associate who sold me this backpack said it was extremely durable and will get me from freshman year of college through grad school and that is extremely comical because after one year of use it has fallen apart on the bottom of the backpack.
