I've owned SAS Journeys for several years. I wanted something like a dress sneaker, so I tried Venture. I wear a 13 Medium in a Journey, and a 13 Wide in the Venture. SAS says the 2 are made on the same last, but the Venture is narrower in the toe box than the Journey. In truth, the Journey is a very wide Medium width. I normally wear a wide. I have a custom orthotic, and the Venture has room for it once the insole is removed. Things I like: 1) The shoe fits to size. Lengths and widths are true 2) The Venture is padded under the insole, so you don't lose much cushioning by removing the insole 3) You can wear them with pants or shorts 4) The Navy color is not overstated. It is a subdued dark blue and quite nice 5) No break in 6) Not as stiff as the Journey shoe, but still has structure All in all, a nice shoe that has a more youthful appearance than other SAS shoes

Unfortunately I will be sending these back. I ordered as usual my size, 10WW. Which I wear in the Journeys. Fits like a glove, but these were like I was trying to put on narrow size shoes. Of course I checked the size on the shoe and it reflects 10WW. Got it to go on the left snug, but the right says no no no. So I will be contacting customer service and returning these.

These are so comfortable that a month later I bought a second pair! This for a person who hasn't worn sneakers in 10 years because I couldn't find any comfortable and wide enough.

I have been wearing different brand of shoes my whole life, just couldn't find any that were very comfortable always had my little toe hurting by the end of the day. and it really is aggravating at my age of 59. last year my wife told me to get some SAS shoes and i complained about the price but bought them anyway because she said too. I have never worn a more comfortable shoe and wish i bought these years go. I will never buy any other brand. by the end of the day my feet feel great and I feel great at the end of the day. no more foot pain. I didn't really know how much it has changed my attitude because the pain is gone in my little toes. and when i say this i wasn't just buying any shoe out there before SAS i was buying top brands. Thanks SAS you have made a true difference in my daily life.

I bought a pair of dress shoes but these were on sale so I bought them as an after thoughtbut they've become my go to favorite casual shoe. I'm so confident in SAS shoes I took them in a trip without wearing them first. These shoes took my all over London in perfect comfort and looking great!

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable, fit true to size, look great, are obviously very well made of high quality material. I've been making an effort to shift my purchase habits for all products to make sure my purchases maximize how much of my money stays in and benefits America. The best way to do that is to buy American made products from American companies. Shoes and clothing have been made difficult to produce in America because of bad politics, but finding companies like SAS, who make high quality products worthy of higher prices, make it much easier to spend the extra money. I had been wanting to try SAS for sometime, but was unsure if they would be worth the money. I have that fear no longer. These shoes are wonderful, worth the money, and make me feel good to spend my money on a great American company. I only wish they had a manufacturing plant in my state so I could work there and learn to make shoes! Anyway, I highly recommend them. If you're like me, take the leap! You'll love them. PS, I didn't experience the "too narrow" that others claimed with this model. They fit true to my size. I recommend having your foot size measured by a professional before making your purchase so you don't regret it and wrongly blame the company.

Best deal ever; These shoes are just the most comfortable and very stylish, but what caught my attention was that they were on sale under LAST CHANCE for almost 1/2-price! Didn't qualify for free shipping - who cares - my best buy ever from SAS! You ROCK

I wear these shoes often. Love them. Super comfortable. Fit exactly as I expected, based on similar SAS shoes I have purchased in the past.

My husband really loves this SAS shoes. It is his 2nd pair. He swears that SAS shoes are the only ones that have helped him so far with his plantar fasciitis. He is a nurse and he is often on his feet. Definitely a good investment and these are made in the US. You rarely see that these days. I already recommended the SAS shoes to another nurse that works here in our hospital suffering from plantar fasciitis.

My pair of Ventures has been exactly what I hoped I was buying. They are exceedingly comfortable, and fit my wide feet exactly. I could not be happier with my decision to buy them.
