I have a relatively large foot. Size 15, buying all of my shoes online for years now and it, for me anyway, seems harder every pair of shoes I purchase to find that ideal comfort when you put it on and feel like your foot just relaxes into it. Honestly, and unfortunately shelling out well over ~ $110 seems to work for me. These shoes are adequately comfortable, I’m pretty picky because I’m on my feet a lot so someone else that experienced the same feel might call it amazing. Anyway these being American made, mostly all leather I think, arriving w/ 2 tones of lace(feel nice, like high quality laces at that), a few of the touches that set apart the experience for me from “normal” other shoes I usually buy. I like the style very well and cannot think of anything to complain about. Definitely worth it and will likely be the first high $100 - $200 + shoe that I will try another one of their styles, if not just color of the same shoe.

Oh my goodness!!! I put the Venture shoes on and tied them up and they felt like they were made specifically for my own feet. Thank you for such a great product from a great company. These are long lasting shoes. I still have another pair from a year ago and I put inserts in from your company every 4 to 6 month. So thank you, thank you, thank you.!!!!!

I've heard of these shoes for years but have never been a customer. I recently started working 12.5 hour shifts and thought it might be worth spending a bit extra than normal for a good pair of shoes. After the first day of wearing them I could already notice the difference! Already trying to decide with pair to buy next. Thank you!

Put them on and you are ready to go. No problems with my bunions or hammertoes. They felt comfortable immediately and they look pretty good, too.

This is my first pair of SAS. So far the title sums my view. I love that there is no logo (like Nike or New Balance have for example). Usually with comfortable well built shoes like this they look like nursing home style shoes, but not the Venture. Love the fact that it is made in the USA too! Pricey but quality and fit does seem better. Bought brown (my fav) and since liked them so much and wear a narrow which is hard to find elsewhere, a black pair also.

Great Product. It is very comfortable and it looks nice too. The only thing I don't like about is the price, but they generally will last me over a year and still look great. I think they would last even longer if I didn't supinate to one side when I walk.

I wear these shoes every chance I get!! I am really thinking about wearing them to work every day. They are the absolute best pair of shoes I have ever owned and I am very particular about the shoes that I buy. They are so comfortable and it is a real dream to walk in them. I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them and I have recommended them to numerous people!! My only request is to make more styles and colors!! Great job, SAS Shoes!!

It is a handsome shoe and very comfortable. It is so comfortable, in fact, that I often wore it to the gym and while doing yard work. That was a bad idea. Not because it is not durable. In fact, these shoes hold up even better than my SAS sneakers. But the type of leather uppers is easily stained by water and loses its consistent grain if you abuse them too much or wet them. Also, you need to buy a special soap to clean them...and even still it will not bring them back to their new condition.

THEY ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THIS SHOE IT FEELS GREAT BUT IS EATING MY SOCKS OTHER THEN THAT I HAVE BOUGHT SAS SHOES FOR YEARS WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS UNTIL NOW. CALLED SAS WAS TOLD I CAN RETURN THEM IF THEY HAVEN'T BEEN USED (DUH)

Slightly more formal in appearance than the full mesh athletic shoe offered by SAS (and which I also own), so I wear the mesh shoe around the house and when exercising, and this shoe for casual wear. These shoes are comfortable, wide enough and appear well made. I say appear because I have used them less than a month. But all my other shoes from SAS over the past 25 years (save one pair) have been stellar in quality and durability. If you value your comfort and value for money spent, I strongly endorse any shoes from SAS.

It seems that the older I get, the more difficulty I have finding comfortable shoes (10.5 extra wide). This is my first pair of SAS shoes and they fit and feel great! I have just ordered a pair of SAS Ambassadors hoping that the fit is as comfortable as the Ventures. Since I just received these shoes, I cannot comment about their longevity so I will amend this review if I find that the shoes wear too quickly. Lastly, the prices for these shoes ($234 for the Ambassadors, e.g.) seems a bit high and comparable to up scale brands with full leather construction, but since the fit and comfort, so far, has been great and since they are American made, I will pay the premium. One last comment about style: I find that most of the SAS shoes on Zappos are not attractively styled and could use an update.

In Feb 2019, I retired from a desk job and went part-time in a job that's on my feet. After a few weeks, my feet and calves hurt bad enough that I thought I could not continue the job. I started with custom orthotic inserts, which was an improvement, but I still had foot pain. Then I got my first pair of brown Ventures and what a difference! Now I have a brand new pair of black Ventures and I'm set. Thanks, SAS, for the most comfortable shoe ever!

I went through so many pairs of "cost effective", imported shoes. Now that my feet have stopped growing, I decided to give American made shoes a chance because I was sick of getting blisters on my feet, or having the shoes fall apart after 6 months. So far, I am in love with these shoes. They're comfortable, stylish, and simple. What's different is that this company takes different feet widths into consideration, which is why I could walk 10 miles in these shoes with no problems.

I wear a 12B shoe, which really limits my choices. Also have plantar fasciitis and a hammer toe on my right foot. With all of THAT going on, my feet really get sore when I stand all day. Today was my first day with my SAS Ventures and my feet feel great! These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they are worth every penny. Thanks SAS!
