I've had these for about six months now, no tears or anything. I'm 27" waist, 40" hips, 22" thigh, got a size 9, waay too big, so I got a size 5, which was preetty dang tight but stretches out to just about perfect (I like my jeans tight). I love this fit, feels made for me. Are any other Wrangler styles this fit, or did they find a few boxes in a warehouse from decades ago and throw it on the website for kicks? If you are still making these jeans, please bring back black, please consider brown, corduroy! I personally don't love the weave, I think it looks a little cheap compared to classic levis or something, but it's worth it for the cut which makes me feel all-powerful. I also wish the closure was buttoned, not zipped, because after a few wears it starts to bulge a little (maybe that's inevitable). I do love the length options < 3

I believe you mean to advise shoppers to size up on this jean, not size upon it.

I am a technical designer for apparel. It is my job to understand every aspect of sizing and pattern making. I have a 24" waist and 34.5" hip. I always check the size charts but always end up at 00. Usually The waist is always more forgiving than the size charts say for other brands (vanity sizing). This is not the case for Wrangler which I find rather refreshing.
I ordered a size 0 for these. I liked that the hip was snug but I got a cramp in my side from trying to button them LOL! It's rare for things to be that small on me!
These jeans are legitimately genuine to their size chart. I need to get a size 1 but they are currently sold out.
Double check your waist measurement to the size chart!!
My 5 star rating is for the size that I know will fit perfectly. I saw the potential!

I have worn these jeans since at least the late 1980s. They are my Go-To when all the other jeans have forgotten the REAL Cowgirls...those that work on the ranch, work physical labor, side by side with the Real Cowboys. I don't know when the rhinestones on the butt became a thing, but when you're working with livestock day in and day out, bling is the first thing that animals start chewing on. And all those pre-ripped jeans...Real Cowfolks don't go out in rags like that. We cowgirls need these jeans for church, dancing, FFA & 4-H meetings. Go ahead and make those WHEWW Girl jeans for the buckle bunnies and the ones that want to star in Luke Bryan's latest video, but please keep making these for the ones that have been buying from Wrangler from the start.

I'm 5'4 and roughly 125lbs with a 28in waist. I bought the lightwash pair in a size 7x34 and they fit like a glove. Currently have the dark ones in my cart:)))))

I had recently purchased these pants in a size 1, but had a horrible experience when I received them. I decided to go up a size and ordered a 3, which fit almost perfect!! I am 5'5, waist 24, hips 34 almost 35. The three fit perfect, except that it does not fit right in the waist (can be fixed with a belt). I do want to say, if you are expecting for them to fit like the models, then don't buy these because chances are they will not fit like that. These are the perfect "mom jeans" type of look, fit from the waist and a bit from the hips, but a bit baggy from the legs. Anyways, for me these jeans are perfect and I will definitely be purchasing more

I have been looking at these for a while thought they were so cute and affordable!! I was nervous to buy them considering all the reviews about sizing. I sized up and they fit perfect! They are definitely still flared at the bottom and not like the model picture like I was hoping. They fit like a good mom jean and I like to cuff the bottoms. I got a size 9, 32 in. I am 5'7" with boots on they are too short but wasn't the look I was going for anyways. I weigh 135 and my measurements are (bust, waist, hips) 36-29-37. I probably could go down a size for a bit tighter fit but I love the fit they are now and scared they would be too tight if I did lol! My boyfriend loves them too, asks me to wear them a lot! Hope this helps!

I love these jeans! Very high waisted and fit perfectly. I wasn't sure what size to get, but I followed the size chart and the size I ordered fit excellent. The quality is amazing. I wouldn't expect anything less from wrangler. I have two pairs, one for working cattle in and one for going out in because I just love them so much!

These are the perfect barn / work / riding jeans. They are heavy weight denim but do give and mold to your frame over time. The sizing is "small", but if you follow the sizing chart you will be fine. For reference, in my regular jeans I wear a size 28 or 6. In these jeans I wear an 11 and they fit like a glove.

everybody saying the waist is tiny is absolutely right. size up multiple. that being said they are my all time favorite jeans and I wear them at least 5 times a week. considering throwing out all other jeans and buying only these. I barrel race and they are so comfy for riding in and not getting all bunched up, nice thick denim. I am 5'10 and 115lbs so its very difficult to find jeans that fit but I got the 0 36'' inseam and I love them. Next time I think I'll get a 1 for comfort but still not complaining! I do wish the 38" was available on smaller sizes for noodle shaped people like me.

I love this high-waisted, 100% cotton style (Women's Wrangler Cowboy Cut Slim Fit Jean Item No. 14MWZ) and I would like to buy it in various colors (black, white, beige, etc.) I would also like to buy it in a lighter weight denim for summer, also in all the various colors. Why don't you even have white and light blue in stock? Are you cancelling this style? I hope not.

I have the darker wash and I LOVE them. After reading reviews I sized up to a size 5. I'm 25in waist usually wear a 2 in other brands. There is no gapping, I have thicker thighs smaller waist and always have trouble finding jeans but these are PERFECT.

Typically a size 28 or size 6 would look at the size chart based on hips. I bought a size 11 fit perfectly, now plan to buy more of them.

I love that this pair is tighter on the waist but bigger through the thigh areas. There's absolutely no gapping in the back but my legs can still breathe.

I have been wearing the Slim Fit Cowboy Cut jeans for years. I am 63 and prefer that it is a high waist jean. I am 5'3 - 110 lbs. and I order size 3 x 30 or 3 x 32 if wearing heels. I like the bleach washed as they are lighter and softer for the Summer than the heavy denim/Indigo one. Which does take a few washings (as recommended) to break them in.

Best jeans for working around the barn and look great in the arena! Im 5'6", 125lbs ,25" waist and 37" hips and size 5x32 fit the best! Also look great as fashion jeans for outside of the barn, if you want the good vintage 70s style!

OK so I'm obsessed with these jeans! I have a dozen pairs now and have got rid of all of my other jeans!
This is the 1st pair of jeans that have fit in decades that I do not need a belt with nor are they too tight anywhere or too loose!
These jeans are extremely comfortable even when driving, riding, hiking or just going out. I do not consider these slim fit jeans these jeans just fit and are like a second skin but never clingy!
I also love the fact that they're heavy weight 100% cotton which will ensure in the summertime while I'm out sweating they will not stick to me or suffocate my skin!
I would be considered in hourglass figure with a 25" waist 37" hips and 22.5" thighs
Size 5 fits amazing as well as size 7. My advice is if you want a nice fitted Jean the size 5 works well for me but if you want them a bit loose in the waist hips and thighs go with a size 7. Due to the smaller waist size even going up one size they will not fall down or sag and still looks great!
Size 5 has a 26-27" waist
Size 7 has a 27-28" waist

I have worn these awesome jeans exclusively for past 10 years. So in love with the fact that they are 100% heavy weight denim which breath and are durable. It is impossible to find these jeans in stores so I always rely on Wrangler.com which provides exemplary customer service. At 5'1" and 115 pounds the size 9 is just the right fit........but I always have to hem them for my 28" inseam. PLEASE MAKE THESE IN BLACK!! These jeans are quality affordable classics.
