Falling apart after a little over two months of moderate wear. I bought these for my six year old on March 13 and he began wearing them about a week later. Today, May 20th, I noticed that they are already falling apart. Even though he's an active kid who loves to run, I've never had a pair of my kids' shoes wear out so quickly. You can see in the pictures that I uploaded that the front part has completely separated from the mesh upper and is already cracking near the toe. These shoes are only glued together in the front. And after paying $54 on a pair of shoes, this is incredibly disappointing.

I purchased these sneakers for my active 5 year old who has his Daddy’s wide feet. The width is perfect on these shoes and he loves them! Once they arrived and he tried them out he said to me, ”These shoes don’t squish my toes and they make me super fast Mom! They have awesome grip so I can run fast and not slip!” So I think it’s safe to assume he gives them a 5 star rating. Lol.

My child liked the shoe, it was very comfortable.

It’s hard to find wide shoes for my 12 year old son. Nike Balance are the only ones I find that come in wide and look nice. My son is happy and comfortable in these shoes. Thank you Zappos!

I first bought this model shoe in Summer of last year (2018). I have since been buying this model as my son out grows his shoes. This is the third size up I have gone and I have to tell you, the shoe has been durable and comfortable. We have always bought wide shoes for our son, and this has been a great option. He used the shoe for day-to-day wear (he is nine years old) and also ended up using it for track and field. The bottom of the last pair of shoes was literally worn down to a smooth finish, yet there are no tears or failed stitching to speak of. I hate that these shoes have been discontinued and have bought some in larger sizes to put away for later. We have done the same for our daughter.

My son and I have been training for a 5k. He has a very wide flat foot. He said they were super comfortable. He wasn’t squeezing his foot into them like his previous pair. They are super light, which is great for running.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE!

Bought these for my 9 yr old son. He has wide, fat, Fred Flintstone like feet and it can be difficult to find shoes that fit him. We ordered the wide width and they fit him well. He really likes them. My 7 yr old said that he wants a pair when it is time for him to get new shoes because he likes the way they look. My son has only been wearing them for a couple days, but so far he and everyone else likes them. Great buy & highly recommended.

My son is on his third season of FuelCore Nitrel shoes. He loves the extra grip as he climbs rocks and hikes up hills.Highly recommend

Those fits perfect and looks nice

My son has a wide foot so it's difficult to find shoes that fits him to say the least. He tried on 12 different pairs at a shoe store and none of them were wide enough. I ordered these off of Zappos after our failed shopping trip and he and I were both super excited when they fit and were comfortable! He even wanted to go for a walk around the neighborhood as soon as he tried them on because they felt so good on his feet.

The shoes we wanted at an excellent price! Fast shipping too!

My son LOVES these!

These shoes are really well made. My son had been complaining of sore feet and had some mild tendinitis. The doc recommended a shoe with more support. These have made a huge difference and he’s no longer complaining. We will be purchasing this one again!

This is the 3rd pair of these shoes we have bought for my son and he still loves them. They hold up pretty well too - despite the wear and tear that a 7 year old boy puts on them. We will keep buying them in bigger sizes as long as the colors keep changing and he likes them.

My son loved how these shoes look and also loves how little these shoes skid compared to his old ones. We love New Balance!

My son loves these shoes! They look great and are really comfortable. We will order another pair when he grows out of these.

This is the 8th pair of similar style New Balance shoe that I have purchased for my kids and it does not disappoint. This particular pair I was a bit nervous about, thinking that it might look more purple in person, but that wasn’t the case at all. In fact it looks even better in person! Fits true to size.

Really has held up well with an active son. He has very narrow feet and is a bit of a whiner--he'd tell me if there were any blistering or issues with rubbing. Will buy again.

I purchased these as running shoes for my six-year-old son for track. The color is wonderful! I love how the shoe feels. And in my son's words "these shoes feel awesome". I'm a loyal wearer of NB. I do think these are narrower than most wide NB's.
