Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v8

This is the fourth pair of New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 shoes I've bought. I have peripheral neuropathy, cannot wear just any shoes, and need a pair for everyday walking. These hug my ankles and heels and provide the support and cushiony insole that makes for comfort when walking for 45 minutes or so. I highly recommend these shoes for narrow feet.

I liked my first pair so much (7.5D) that I bought a second pair-same size and color!

Very accurate size/width. I love that with all my foot problems, it has a removeable insert, and my orthotics fit in with no problem. VERY comfortable with no seams on top rubbing. When you order extra wide....usually it is still fairly tight in the toes. Not so with this pair. Love them!

Hands down the most comfortable sneakers I own. And I have plantar fasciitis, wide feet and bunions so this is saying a lot!

Have purchased this shoe before and the fit was perfect for my narrow feet. I always order a 1/2 larger in New Balance than I normally wear and it always works out. Wanted to get another pair of these shoes before New Balance changes the style.

These are great. Comfortable and cushioned well. The toe box is generous, that’s what I like.

The 7.5 D is perfect in the NB 1080. I love the roomy toe box. The blue color is just right with the fresh foam. I ordered a second pair for another location.

These shoes are so comfortable. I love the cushioning in the sole and arch support. I also appreciate that they come in a narrow width as there aren't many that do. They fit my feet well.

I have bunions and these are the FIRST sports shoes I've ever had that actually feel good on my feet! The toe box is incredibly roomy and the shoes are very cute. I LOVE these!

I wear 9EE in a regular shoe and 9.5EE in New Balance. These fit nicely--accommodate my bunions but my heel doesn't slip out the back. Looks good on my foot, not clunky. Like the mesh upper--provides additional give for bunions. And, I can't say enough good things about Zappos. A number of EE shoes to choose from and exceptional packaging and delivery. Returns are easy too. Thanks!

The shoe feels great The soles are wider than the body of the shoe which I may have to get used to. Otherwise the seem very comfortable.

I have been a 1080 fan for many years in this version does not disappoint. I have also run in the NB 1260 in the past, so I tried the latest version of that model as well. These are similar shoes but have 2 key differences. The 1260 is better for stability while the 1080 has a lot more room in the toe box. I have wide toes so I went with the 1080 -- my toes are blissful in these shoes! I wear custom orthotics and I place them in the shoe on top of the insole and it works great. I wear these for street running (typically 5-10k) and casual wear. I bought a pair for my daughter who has even wider toes and she loves them too.

I had owned a pair of these for over a year and loved them. I was so happy Zappos had the style, size, and color wanted in stock. There was a problem with the deliver but Zappos took care of the problem immediately.

They are not the sportiest looming shoe, but my physical therapist recommended them and they really help my back. I buy them 1/2 size smaller than most of my shoes and I order a narrow which is still a little too wide. I do not order narrows in any of my other shoes. This style seems to run wide.

I ordered the New Balance Fresh Foam shoe because I wanted a running shoe that would meet the requirements of my foot type. I need a shoe with a wide yet deep toe box and a shoe that corrects for supination. This shoe meets those requirements while being good looking and stylish. I ordered a color black shoe in size 8 D (wide width) and find the shoe to be comfortable and true to size. A well-made shoe that is also good looking. I should be able to run many a mile in the New Balance Fresh Foam shoe.

I have worn various models of this shoe for about 10 years. Lasts 500+ miles for road marathon training and some trail running too.
