I bought these shoes to wear for stylish use during the Midwest winters. Unfortunately, these boots didn't last me through one winter. I noticed that my sock was getting wet when walking through snow or puddles. Looking closer, I discovered that the rubber sole had separated from the rubber covering my toes. I took them in to be repaired but the store is unable to fix this kind of break. I am extremely disappointed that I invested in a pair of boots that did not stand up to their boasted durability.

Had these shoes not even 6 months when they started to rip on the sides. They're very cute, but they're useless in the rain.

I was so excited whenI purchased my duck boots, finally a rain boot that wasn't so stiff and looked cute. I wore them on rainy or slushy days, they did wonders keeping my feet dry. That is until one very rainy day walking to class on a rocky path I step in a puddle, all of a sudden my foot is soaking wet. My boot had a huge splice in it, presumably from stepping on a rock. I had these boots less than 8 months before this incident and they were fine but if youre going to be on a rocky path spend the extra money and go with a company that will have more durable rubber on the shoe or replace your boots if they rip.

THe boots have a great look & are really comfortable but after the 2nd wear in heavy raIn, my foot was wet. It was letting water in at the seems where the bottom rubber meets the sides. I really loVed the boots until my feet got wet.

I was really excited when I purchased these boots- they looked really cute, were waterproof/warm, and fit me nicely. They were a little on the pricy side, but I figured that the quality I would be getting from the Sperry brand was worth it, especially since I go to college in upstate NY and need a solid pair of boots that can hold up in the snowy winters we get here. Unfortunately, these boots were LITERALLY falling apart after just one winter. The soles were completely ripping off the back and had separated some in the front, so they were barely wearable, let alone waterproof or warm. For reference, I attend a very small school where my average walk to class from my residence hall takes 2-3 minutes, so these boots were not taking unusual amounts of wear and tear by any standard. I wondered if maybe my pair was defective, but my friend had a similar story and reading other reviews on this site has confirmed that, unfortunately, these boots just aren't up to the typical Sperry standard. If the quality were to improve, I would absolutely love these boots, but for now, all I can say is don't expect them to last you more than a year.

I thought these boots were super cute and was super excited when I bought them. However, after only 2 years of use the rubber waterproof part of the boot has cracked in 2 places on both of my boots allowing for water to get in. As a college student I often times walk to class in rain and snow. I was disappointed that the boots only lasted for 2 winters.

I absolutely loved these boots when I first bought them- they are both stylish and practical. However, only two winters later and they are already splitting along the sole and as a result are no longer waterproof. As a college student in the Midwest I need my boots to be weatherproof for the rain and snow. I would not recommend buying these as they are not durable.

I first bought these for my daughter a couple of years ago. She loved them, very cute and comfortable. But they split at the side within a year. Because she did really love them, and she has a very small foot which makes it hard to find her size, I bought a second pair hoping that it was an anomaly. Less than a year, and the new pair have split. So although she loved them while they lasted, I can't recommend them due to the poor quality.

I really liked these boots, but I've had them for a year and they are already shot. They only lasted one winter season. After just a year the sole is very worn and the rubber bottom of the boot is cracked and no longer waterproof. I am a college student and am really sad that I spent money on these boots expecting them to last more than one year when I could have bought a pair for less money and that would have lasted just as long.

I am a college student who has to walk to class in the snow and rain so I can no longer wear this shoe. It lasted one winter season.

Had these boots for less than a year and loved them until the sole of the boot and the rubber came apart! Paying a lot of money for a shoe that won't last long!

Loved these boots. I have owned these for 11 months and the top has fallen apart...so disappointed. I thought I'd be buying another pair this winter but not for "disposable boots!" Buyer beware!

I got these less than a year ago to use for New England winters and rainy days, and the rubber soles have already started to peel away from the shoe, making them no longer water or snow proof and totally useless. Haven't been used for hiking/rough wear; just started falling apart within a year. I got these because they're cuter than the LL Bean duck boots; I didn't expect such low quality. Wouldn't recommend unless you're willing to replace them every eight months.

I bought These boots last year and NoW they are COMPLETELY falling apaRt. The back of the shoes keep destroying my heels and water constantly seeps in. The rubber part On the back keeps breaking. They barelY lasted me a season. If youre lOoking for coMfortable, reliable Boots for the winter, these are Not it.

The quality of these boots definitely reflects the manufacturing origin. Why is a great American company making its products in China? There is no earthly reason Sperry products should be made anywhere but the good ol' USA. I'm sure customers would gladly pay more for better quality items that provide jobs for fellow Americans. The leather is stiff, the lining feels cheap, and the rubber sole feels like it would come apart after one good rainstorm. Come on, Sperry! You can do better than this.

I bought a pair of Top Sider Saltwater duck boots on November 3 to wear in the rainy Portland weather. Less than two months later the soles were showing considerable wear and now there are holes in the heels of the soles. I wear them nearly everyday and walk 2 - 3 miles each day. Although the boots are very comfortable I cannot recommend a product that wears out so quickly.

I went from an 8.5 which is what I bought in store to needing a 10 because the 9.5 DIDN'T fit either! Might have needed a 10 but it was sold out so we'll never know. NOT HAPPY.

I received a pair of these for Christmas. This would have been my 3rd pair ever. My last pair (about 5 yrs old) fit COMPLETELY different. I was always able to wear a thick pair of socks under them. They were true to size. So this pair were my regular size and could not even get them on. So I sized up a half size and they are still tight. I am so disappointed and sad because I have always loved them but now they don't fit at all.

Not sure why these are called Salt water. I bought a pair for me and my granddaughter, within 6 months both pairs had corrosion on zipper and zippers broke. I live in Salt Air at a beach But never got them wet. I would not buy these.

I loved these boots and wore them constantly. Warm but not too hot, comfy, and keep your feet dry. BUT they did not age well. One year in and the rubber parts started peeling. So disappointed! I expected Sperry Brand boots to last for many years!

I bought these a couple weeks ago. Not true to size about 1/2 size too big. But every size is sold out in wide so I'm stuck with these large boots that I can't wear. :(

Very difficult to put on. Shoes are too narrow at the top and are almost impossible to pull on. They fit fine after the initial wrestling match to get them on my foot.

Bought these finally, was so excited. Got them wore them ONCE! and the back of the boot at the seam is split.. they are a little big on my feet too so it's not from being to small or anything.. not sure how something decently expensive can tear at the same after ONE use for about 4 hours.. just running errands and grocery shopping. They are amazing aside from the seam ripping open.. and I looked into getting a replacement pair and they won't.. I just want a new pair of boots or my money back.. I almost caved and bought a whole new pair because I want to have some that aren't ripping at the seam but couldn't bring myself to spend more money on something that ripped so easily.. and they are all out of stock in my size .. guess I'm at a loss here..
