These shoes are really fun and adorable on the foot. I ordered the "gray" which is really like a warm taupe-gray. It's very cute with gray or blue jeans. I haven't worn them outside the house yet, but just wearing around the house, the velcro fastener has held firmly and it very adjustable. I have a narrow ankle and foot but a wider toe area (bunions) so the wider toe box is wonderful and pain-free if you have a similar issue. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a distinctly unpleasant chemical/rubber smell when you open the box. I let the shoes sit out for about an hour and it has dissipated greatly. One other item to note is that I always wear an 8 or 8.5, but in this shoe the 38 which listed as a 7.5-8 is plenty roomy.

These shoes are fab. Very comfortable, and the buckle is Velcro, so it’s easily adjustable. Tons of compliments. I’m an EM doc, but as faculty I have to do admin stuff around the hospital, so these fit the bill as comfortable and just dressy enough (I wear tennis shoes when on shift). I think that on my ultrasound shift days with students/residents, I can wear these easily. They are about a 1/2 size big on me, as all of this brand are, but the strap makes it work. A 34.5 would be perfect, but the 35s are still keepers.

OMG. Most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I am instructor who spends 8-10 hours a day on my feet. Every shoes hurts. Nevermind trying to look attractive. These shoes...both comfortable and attractive. Gotta go....buying more. XOXO

I own several pair of L’ArtistenSamdals which I wear home amd travel. They have an element of cuteness and style to causal wear and will dress up outfits too. This was my first try at the closed toe style. These fit like a MaryJane. The heel-Box is a tiny bit wider than expected but not enough to complain. Wear a little thicker non-slip dress sock. The color is exactly true to picture and so versatile.

I received two right feet shoes in the box. Also, they were different shades of brown. What the heck? I will say, the shoe was comfortable. LOL!

This is my third pair of L'Artiste by Spring Step. I have a small foot and they are true to size. I can comfortably wear them all day. All three pairs are visually beautiful as well.

The shoes are gorgeous in white for summer, and the fit is perfect. I have a troublesome bunion on 1 foot & in general never wear heels, but I bought these for an outdoor wedding & was thrilled to find I can walk comfortably right out of the box.

Beautiful and comfortable! Nice soft leather which helps with a wider fit.

I just discovered this brand a week ago. I’ve ordered several different styles. They are quite comfortable to wear and I love that they are uniquely designed. I bought this particular pair for work because my previous pair is worn out (different brand). This fit perfectly for me; I was concerned bc my feet are wide, but I have zero issues with these. Thank you for such a well made shoe!

MY NEW FAVORITE SHOE!!! I wear a 6. These were true to size. I love that it looks like it has a buckle, but it's actually velcro. I wore these to a wedding and danced for hours. These shoes are so comfortable and totally cute. I purchased 4 pairs of black shoes. These were the clear winners. The other 3, while cute too, got returned.

These shoes fit well and feel comfortable right out of the box as an expensive shoe should. If this is not your experience, return the shoe, as Zappos customer service is prompt and return process is easy to perform.

These are very cute shoes and I am enjoying wearing them overall. One thing I was surprised about given the price was that the strap across the top of the foot is Velcro closure rather than an actual buckle. I am concerned that this will wear out faster than a buckle closure would. For me, I felt the arch support was moderate, but not excellent.

Too big so am sending back, but the horrific smell would drive me to return them even if they fit perfectly! They smell like they have been soaked in moth balls or formaldehyde. Awful.

These are darling, nicely constructed shoes with unique details. If you’re at all on the fence, get them! The navy ones I bought are the perfect shade and were comfortable out of the box. Please note, however, they run quite large. I am a very standard US 7 1/2 but had to return the 7 1/2-8 (38) for a 6 1/2-7 (37).

First pair received had 2 different size shoes although they were both marked size 35. Exchange was easy - love Zappos customer service and happy with the second pair. They weren't 100% what I was looking for stylistically but versatile for an upcoming trip with just carry on.

I love these shoes. They are adorable with the April Cornell dress I bought to wear to an autumn wedding. My problem is fitting my two differently-sized feet. I experienced a bad fall and a crushed heel several years ago. A surgeon put me back together, but my foot is 1/2 to a full size larger than the other one. The 8.5 fit my "normal" foot perfectly but I am returning this pair for a 9 to accommodate my larger foot.

These shoes were an impulse purchase--they are so cute and stylish. I never expected them to be so comfortable as well. Right out of the box they fit like a dream. I wore them the next day with jeans and a blouse, and they really completed the outfit. I'm now on a hunt to find a dress to pair with them!

Bought in both sky blue and camel. Had to go down a full size from a 41 to a 40. Heel was slipping right out of cup. Very comfortable and heel high is perfect for all day wear

The fit is perfect and the leather upper is soft and comfortable on my bunion. The look is something you can wear with either casual or dressy.

Beautiful style. Comfortable for someone who doesn’t wear heeled shoes often.

I picked the wide version, making these super comfortable at just the right height for flowing pants. They are tons of fun to wear.
