Unfortunately I'd purchased these boots during the Summer, and have not had the opportunity to wear them yet! But just looking at them I can hardly wait for my 1st big rain. Stay tuned.

I thought I wouldn't see a lot of people in gray...but 5 girls from my school have the same boot and color. They are comfortable and useful.

While these Hunter boots kept my feet completely dry, the sizing is very strange. I wear size 7.5 woman's, and I like to wear thick socks with boots for comfort and warmth, so I figured I'd order a size 8 boots. When I received it, the box said size 39 (I'm assuming that's the European size, or maybe UK?) Anyways, the boots were huge on me, even with thick socks, both on my feet, (and my feet are slightly wide!) around my calves, and to make matters worse, they were too tall. Every time I tried to walk the top of the boot would hit the back of my thigh (yes, that says thigh!) in a painful way. I'm 5'3 which is short but still within normal adult height. Now I know to order the short version, and a smaller size. (Although I'm not sure whether to go down to a size 7 or maybe even a 6?)

Just received my boots today. I bought them to have out at college. They seem like they will do the trick for the wet and snow, and with the socks the cold too. The only thing is that the calves are very tight. And with the socks even more so. It's hard to get them off. Hopefully they will stretch out a bit with wear. I still can't wait to wear them though!

Can't wait till it rains so I can finally get to wear my new cool boots. Felt well made. Do want to point out that they are tight around the calf. You will not be able to tuck your pants in the boot. Leggings will be best because the leg opening is so tight. I'm okay with this because I wear leggings often enough.

I love the color and my only issue was that there was a little bit of streaking on the back of the boots. Other than that, they are great! Also, I do have to sit down in order to pull them off they are designed to be snug in the calf.

I was very pleased with this product. Zappos is a great place to shop. The customer service is out of this world.

I love them! I know it's a little extravagant for rain boots, but they are very comfortable and stylish. My only negative is that the strap on one of the boots is already about to rip, and I never even adjusted them. The buckle is pretty sharp so the rubber must have rubbed into. I like the black gloss and they go with a lot of things!

These wellies are stylish and keep my feet dry in the rain. They are easy to clean and keep shiny with the Hunter spray and buffer. The boots fit just right, but I wish they came in half sizes to give my toes more wiggle room.

These are great rain boots. Fairly comfortable, I can walk in them and wear them for the majority of the day. I usually end up taking them off because I am not, not because my feet hurt. They keep my toes dry and not cramped. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good, solid rain boot!

I love these rain boots. The fit feels true to size for a rain boot (a little on the roomy side, but my heel doesn't come up). I like that the boot is taller and the look is stylish, yet simple.

I purchased true to my show size 10 and although I have wiggle room in the toe they fit nicely in the foot. I'm disappointed with the "gloss" description though. My boots are cloudy and matte finish...not at all glossy. They do not shine like the photo.

Totally adorable boots. I ordered two sizes - a 6F and a 7F. The six is snug but it definitely works, and the 7 was just way too big, it wasn't manageable. I wish these boots ran in half sizes, and then a 6.5 would be good for me. But it's such cute boot and great protection from rain and mud.

These boots are really cute, but be sure to measure your calves before purchasing. I've never had a problem buying boots, but these were way too tight. I could get them on, but I don't think they would be comfortable for any length of time.

I'm petite (5' tall) and I ordered the 35-36. I usually wear a 6 in boots. Unfortunately, this boot is too tall for me. It hits at least 2 inches above where it should. Sadly, I am returning them.

Generally like the boots and recommend getting the fleece liners if you live in a cooler climate. The only gripe is that they don't sell half sizes (like many other wellies). I've had to settle for a slightly smaller 7 since the 8s were enormous!

Cute and durable. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. I ordered a 7 because I read reviews saying they feel a half size larger. Those reviews were true. The 7 is even a little big, but sometimes I like to wear them with thick socks, so I'm ok with that.

Despite the low marks for comfort, I really love these boots. I do not expect rain boots to have great arch support, and compared to others I have tried the Hunter boots are actually better as far as rubbing my feet and causing blisters. I am 5'2", and I find that the shaft height is a little taller than I would like. I is not bothersome enough for me to return the boots, though.

I bought these for slushy, rainy and snowy days to keep my feet warm and dry, and they are great for that purpose. They are stylish and practical, but there are a few minor sizing issues. They definitely feel a bit roomier in the foot part, and while I was able to tuck in my jeans, they still have a little bit of a weird gap between the ankle part and the shoe part when you walk, so they feel a little strange to walk in at first. In other words, the part where the boot meets the shoe is a little bigger than usual, but it's OK with me since I use these for walking in short distances and usually change into real shoes when I get to work. Other than that, they are comfortable, stylish, and well-made. I'd recommend them for short treks in the rain or snow, but not for all-day wear. I like the size of the boot opening, as I have a hard time finding boots that fit my calves with jeans or pants on. Overall, a good buy.

I originally ordered these shoes in a size 9 (I wear an 8.5) but they were too large so I exchanged them for an 8. They are a tiny bit too tight but the 9 wouldn't have worked. Anyways these shoes are so cute and perfect for jumping in puddles. I even walked around in the mud for fun.

These boots are adorable! Always get compliments on them. I have black gloss and cream cable knit wellies. Really cute combo! I am an 8.5 and ordered the 8. There is more than enough room for the sock in the foot area. The only thing i will say say is that they are a little snug in the calf. With the sock and A skinny jean or legging, there isn't any room left. I am 5' 8 and 130 lbs.

I just received my Hunter Original Gloss boots in violet and thought I'd add my take on the sizing issue. I wear a US 9 1/2 or 10 women's, more often a 9 1/2. I read almost all the reviews and decided to go with the US 9, and I'm so glad I did. These run big. Do NOT order your regular size unless you have wide feet and plan on wearing incredibly thick wool socks with these. I would almost say that these are still a bit too big, but know that a US 8 would be going too far. I have not tried the wellie socks, nor have I even worn these outside yet. Not sure how warm they would be in a snowstorm--probably not very. I may get the fleece socks when Zappos has my size again in the color I want. I love the violet color of these boots. Hunter's have become a little trendy and every girl in NYC is wearing them, but they really are cute and cheerful. Oh, one other thing -- boy do they squeak. Squeak squeak squeak when you walk.
