These are pretty cute, but they come all the way up to my knees (I'm 5'4) and look a little like a fire-fighter costume on me.

I've had my eyes on these boots for a few months but was debating whether or not it was worth it to spend so much on a rain boot. I decided to find a store that sold them and try them on in person before shelling out the cash for them through Zappos (they were cheaper online). I usually wear a size 6 pretty much across the board and the 6 boot is even a little big. Everyone says that these boots run a whole size larger; I would say these boots run more like one and a half times larger than normal. If they sold half sizes, I would have ordered a 5.5 but the 5 was just too tight in the toes. I'm going to pair it with a pair of Welly socks and see if that does the trick.

I had ordered the wrong size several times as thought I could enter the correct US size and it would translate to other sizes; it didn't. :) Anyway, I finally received the correct size and these boots are fantastic. They are very true to size and comfortable.

I love my Hunter Boots! They can be worn in all weather climates and are versatile for various activities. These boots are the most comfortable, breathable, rubber wellies I have ever worn. I highly recommend purchasing a pair!

I was really excited to finally receive these boots today with the dreary northeastern fall/winter looming. I have to send them back though because these boots are way too tall. I am about 5'4" and these go past my knees and crunch up under my knees whenever I sit down. Beware, if you are at all on the short side I would go for the short boots which I am ordering this very minute. Also Zappos, as always, has made my ordering and returning joyously easy.

I bought these for my daughter to wear on a trip to New York. She absolutely loved them! Not only did they look great, but she never complained that her feet hurt! We walked everywhere, even in the rain. The only complaint she had was her feet were wet at the end of the day, sweaty feet not rain, she did not wear absorbent socks. They are excellent rain boots! Wear absorbent socks, as there is no air circulation.

Love these boots! They are true to size and an amazing color. They are a little bit tight around the calf and loose around the ankle. Over all pretty great!

Great boot, fit nicely and very attractive. I wear an insole support which makes them very comfortable. Not made for cold weather though, my toes get cold very fast. And a bit hard to get off. Other than that I like these boots quite a bit.

Love the look of these boots. Footbed is very comfortable. A bit tight around my calves, and I don't have big legs! I love the styling. First day I wore them I had two people request where I got them.

These are the cutest! Love the color and overall look. Not the easiest try drive in, so bring a slip on for the car. Otherwise, awesome!

I was excited when I got the boots. I wanted to get these boots for months. Got the boots took a few steps with them, and noticed that the top of the boots were hitting the back of my thigh and it was so uncomfortable. Because I wore them outside only for 10 seconds I knew I couldn't return them back to Zappos so I had to call Hunter boots and they told me they will inspect them and exchange them for the huntress which is 2 inches shorter then the huntress. I am 5 feet tall so I guess I am too short to wear the Hunter Original. :(

Love the look of these boots and the height. However, the shaft is tight at the calf, especially if wearing wellie socks with them. All in all a great looking and functional rain boot but tight at the top.

These are definitely for those heavy rain days. There are no insoles for the foot to have cushioning. I need heavy socks for cold days but, they definitely look great.

I ordered the high gloss black boots but when they arrived they were not nearly as shiny as the boot in the picture. They actually do not look glossy at all despite the correct label on the box. I ended up keeping the Hunter Regent style in black high gloss because it was glossy and looked a tad more chic. I was shopping for a rain boot to wear to work and I felt like the Hunter Regent style looked more professional. The bottom of the Regent was less contoured and it was an overall sleeker looking boot. The Hunter Original is definitely a more casual look.

These boots make you want it to rain every day! They are so cute and comfortable. The only issue I would want people to know is, the calf does run on the smaller side. I have never had a problem with the shaft of a boot being too small, but these just barely fit.

As cute as they are, I need to return them. The boots were too snug to fit nicely over skinny jeans (and I have pretty average/fairly thin calves). Other than that, they are super cute. I will exchange them for the shorter version that are described as "wider" in the calf area.

I wanted rain boots that were fashionable and functional for the winters here in Colorado and I thought these would be perfect. When I opened the box yesterday, the first thing I noticed was the horrible factory rubbery smell from these boots. It gave me an instant headache. I am wearing them in the office right now and can still smell them. Hopefully it will go away because I love the look and comfort of these boots. I am usually a size 6½ or 7, but following other reviews I went with a 6 and the fit is perfect with some room to spare for tucking in jeans and thick socks. I am about 5'1", and they fall just below my kneecaps. I do hope that they last me a long time because I have read some reviews online where they fall apart after a year or so. I am giving the boots a four star review, but Zappos' promptness and customer service get five stars! Thank you for the fast service. I ordered these boots late afternoon and received them the very next day using free shipping. Zappos is definitely my favorite online retailer.

Love the look of the boot. I usually wear a 7.5-8 I ordered a 7 and sort of wish I had ordered an 8. My toes tend to hurt as they are a bit small. People were saying online that they ran big so I followed their advice. I recently purchased the Hunter socks, so hopefully this will help cushion my toes.

Good comfy shoe for mucking around in. Get a liner if you're looking to stay warm in low temps. They feel a little stiff at first if you're not used to rubber boots.

These boots are well made and would be great for wet weather. Unfortunately, they were too wide both in the calf and boot for my feet.

The boots are great! They feel like they are about a half size too big. But that's better than a half size too small. The style is great as is the color.

I bought these for my 18 year old daughter and she loves them! I quizzed her on the fit and comfort questions so as to report accurately!

I have a pair of matte hunters... I actually used them before they got popular. I live on a farm, and it's great to muck the stalls in them. Now that they've become popular, I got navy blue ones in a size 7. I normally am a size seven, so I tried them on, and they fit. They are amazing and durable! If you are actually going to use them for outside work, don't buy the gloss. I hoped this helped!

I'm sad these didn't work for me. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 in boots (sometimes an 8 in Frye boots), and the 8 in these fit great in the foot. The overall style and look is also great, but the calf was way too small on me. I can't believe it; I honestly have never had a problem with boots fitting me in the calf area. I could have worn these, but only if I wore tights. Jeans would not fit in the boot. I sent them back and am ordering the Huntress. I wish the Original's came in an extended calf size.

These are great! I ordered a 7 in the Graphite, (normally a 7.5) and they fit perfectly. They are not as glossy as pictures, and the graphite color is a little on the gray-blue side for me, but that's ok. Haven't tested them out in the rain yet-but hopefully they'll do great as they consistently receive fantastic reviews.
