I ordered these and they're beautiful boots. Super soft leather and great craftsmanship on the souls. However I thought I had ordered the ones with the zipper in the back. So I may have to return these in order to get more wear out of them.

I'm 5'1 and this boot fits wonderful. It works so well because of the front and back slightly dips down. I do have large calves that measure 14" and 14.5" this boot is snug as glove. It works best with a supper fitted legging or supper skinny jean. They are worth every penny for sure!! Beautifully crafted and unique.

Yum! These boots are more gorgeous in person and the whiskey color is amazing. My fourth pair of Fryes; I'm addicted. My new favorite boot and I'm wearing them almost every day:)

My husband bought these for me as a surprise after I was "loving" on these boots once I saw them on The Pioneer Woman's website! Amazing boots, but pricey. All I can say is you get what you pay for!!! They fit as if they were custom made for me! Buy these boots!! You will not be disappointed and it is money well spent!! I look forward to wearing them for years to come. I'm a Frye girl now!!

I wanted a shoe to throw on for casual wear in all weather that was comfortable but had style... I found them!

Love the color and texture. They are 1/2 size bigger so consider sizing down. Great quality!

I have a black pair and a brown pair that I ordered about a year apart. I ordered the exact same boot and size. The black one (first pair) fit perfect in the shaft of the boot. The brown (second pair) are about an inch too big in the shaft. Regardless, I like both pairs but after a year I found a good cobbler to take in the shaft on my brown ones. I love them both and would recommend them. I do get lots of compliments on both colors and they are very comfortable.

Bought these boots today Rugged Cognac. Tried them on with a thin sock fit was perfect. Tried to wear a thicker sock and I broke into a sweat,trying to get the one boot on. Then I realized I just need to break it in. The removal of the boot was much easier. I rated it a 5 because they are comfortable and my toes had room.

These are the most beautiful boots I have every owned. Quite a splurge for me, but worth every penny!! I'm so in love with them!!

I usually either wear 9.5 or 10 in Frye and I bought these in a 9.5- they are perfect in every way! I plan to buy these in another color or two, I love them that much. The leather is incredibly soft and thick, these boots are a classic!

I bought a pair of Melissa Button black boot 9 medium. They're gorgeous and feel soft and comfortable. The only issue is that my calfs are slim and the 15" calf circunference are wide for my liking. Even though the description says 14 1/2"...but this size would have been wide for me. I'd buy another pair if the calf circunference would be narrow.

I purchased my first pair over 10 years ago, and I swear I can't imagine wearing any other brand. I can recognize a pair of Frye's a mile away. They are so comfortable, I got a brown pair. I would recommend the Harness as the first pair of "Frye experience" because they give you the honest and true idea of what a Frye pair of boots really are, "perfect".

I have been eyeing these boots for some time. Because they are a bit pricey, I was hesitant. I'm sorry I waited so long. They are beautiful! I absolutely love them. Comfort, quality and great style. You will not be disappointed if you buy these boots. I purchased the black and will be buying the dark brown next fall for sure!

These boots are possibly some of the best boots I will ever wear on my feet! They are made with such great quality and if taken care of correctly, will last a lifetime. Everyone is always jealous when I tell them they are Frye! I just finished using the weatherproof spray on them also and it made the leather look so much richer and waterproofs them. I look forward to my next pair of boots from this company!

I just got these and they're by far my favorite pair of Frye's that I own! the softness of the leather, the distressed look, and esp the color is why i love it. I have pretty thick calves (16 in) and wear 9's in shoes regularly, but in Frye's I wear a 9.5 so i have room for my calves and jeans to fit in there and its a good fit. Just right. If you're looking to get a pair of Frye's as a gift, THIS is the boot to get..its a classic and you can't go wrong with these. Now i need these in every color (except red)!

I received these boots in cognac for Christmas and am so happy with them! They are very comfortable and are sure to last a long time. They smell so good and I have already received many compliments on them! The only thing was that as soon as you wear them for the first time, they are very slippery so be sure to wear them on concrete to scuff them up a little for a better grip. Overall, I love my new boots and would recommend them for anyone!

I have had mine for almost two years and they have worn beautifully. The bottoms of the shoes are a bit worn out now (I do a lot of walking on my campus), but I always get compliments on them. It is recommended that you oil them up once in a while, and they always look beautiful afterward. My calves are athletic and I have short legs, and this boot catered to both usually difficult features!

These boots are like my children, I am so in love with them. I have had them for the past year and a half and they are still as perfect as they were on Day 1 (after 1 trip to get the soles refinished). They are incredibly comfortable and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. I wear these here in the city and also bring them home to Virginia on the farm. You 100% need these.

did any of you guys go a size smaller? I found they ran a little big? And do they stretch? (a 7 is snug but may stretch? where the 7.5 slips on my heel, but I could wear a thicker sock). I would prefer to go with the smaller size, but curious to know how much these stretch/soften up if at all TIA!!!!! :)
