I actually bought the 9 1/2 and the 10. I went with the 10. I have wide feet and often need a little extra room. For a dress shoe they are comfortable and very nice looking. I tried on several other brands and these were by far the best in terms of comfort.

Nice shoe, light and very nice looking, but a little lighter in color than I thought it would be, based on the name (Woodbury/Java) and the pictures. It's dark enough for me, but I'd call it a medium tan, with a slight warm/honey tone to it. I liked the shoe and was sad to return it; their "Wide" was not quite as wide as I would have liked. I can wear a 9.5 EEE or EEEE if I can find one, but usually wear a 10W or 10.5 Wide works instead. The length is true to size (i.e. long enough) so I wouldn't have wanted to go longer, but the wide was not quite as wide as I would have hoped. I wore it around the house for an hour, and wasn't convinced it would loosen up enough and ever be comfortable in width, so I had to return it. There is a little tiny bit of arch support, but certainly not enough to call "moderate", but that's not something I'm sensitive about.

Love the look of these shoes but the heal is quite stiff and is rubbing on the back of my ankles. Seems to be taking a long time to break in and soften up.

I had a pair of Cole Haan shoes before that were traditional wing tips with a leather sole and they were very stiff and never broke in. These Original Grand Shortwing are also stiff and I still need my shoehorn to get my foot in, but after a few uses, they are getting easier to put on. I really like how they feel and look. My daughter, who is a fashion stylist, gave me a thumbs up, so that was a bonus!

Beautiful shoes. Purchased for my diabetic husband who suffers from foot pain. These shoes run small and will need exchanged. Ordered brown pair in a half size larger. The brown pair fit. Good looking, comfortable shoes but run small.
